The Shadow Series: Tarot Card Comparisons; The Thoth Tarot 5 of Swords & The Shadow Tarot 5 of Dark Energy At the Event Horizon

All the twisted lines in the back ground are representative of the distortion that fear induces into our emotional/ mental state.

The five bent swords represent fear distorted thoughts and feelings, while the twisted red handkerchief on the top sword, to the viewers right, symbolizes an opening of an old wound. Old wounds tend to constrict us with fear when they are opened by thoughts of, "Oh dear, not again!"

Fear of being hurt again is prominent in this card, basically, astrologically Venus in Aquarius, represents a fear that a new relationship will not work out, and  symbolizes fear of moving in new directions that are emotionally important to you.

The upside down crown (the crown is a symbol of  expanded awareness) tells us that our awareness is expanding in a fear filled direction.

The sword handle of Pisces the fish along with the red handkerchief, represents the past (age of Pisces); old memories rising up to cloud your new awareness.

When we move in states of fear, nothing is regenerated or renewed which is represented by the sleeping snake on the sword handle.

Aries, (the ram headed sword) is about new directions, of which we are unable to move in as a state of fear. We are discombobulated by fear and risk a repeat of a past defeat.

Yet, the Star represents our greater Self that is trying to break through and get us back on to living the present rather than being dead in the past. The Thoth card seems negative, with its fear of the unknown or of repetitive past mistakes; However, it tells us that we are being philosophically challenged and must adapt our belief system or lifestyle to the present unhindered by past presumptions. Life demands transformation and transformation demands courage, which is simply grabbing fear by the hand and saying," Come along with me little one, we have work to do!"  This card reminds us to let go and let god propel us forward into the now.

 

My recent blogs have shown the position of Geburah, the bright red Sephira on the Tree of Life, as the Filth Sephiroth--Severity. One may ask, why is there a need for such a nasty-Intelligent-judgmental- corrective force if we are the Child of the Divine Creative?

This Severity is easily explained as cutting away the unworthy bits, so that you are the original you. But what many fail to understand, is that if all the definitions given you, by your society, belief systems and cultures are not you, THEN YOU CAME IN ALREADY KNOWING YOU!

` Yes it is true, dear ones, truth is made manifest,your psyche never came seeking your truth, nor to find out who you are, the Soul/Psyche already Knows that! By putting knowledge into form, that is how you became manifest! You are Defined into being, not a being who seeks definition! You are a God/Psyche who proves definition by making it manifest! Mankind cannot make your definition. Therefore, being man-made definition, is a delusion brought on by fear of pain.

The Five of Swords, is known as Defeat, or Lord of Defeat. Being that Venus is in Aquarius here, the normal disruption of Geburah's strength, is not the cause of disaster!  This is because weakness is the cause of the Five of Swords disaster! A weakness brought on by pacifism, and enfeebling sentiment; maybe even treachery.

The hilts of the swords form the sinister image of the inverted pentagram; where the body fears has conquered the will by the treachery of sensation. Feeling fearful, is often more sensual than feeling willful, since the ever present doubt brought into belief by indoctrination, keeps the will from collecting into force. Notice that none of the hilts are the same, implying many different weak thoughts assaulting the blue Rose of Wisdom, that was at once whole in the Four, is now all cut to pieces in the Five. Wisdom is scattered to the winds of emotional defeat and blood and poison drips from the thoughts/swords.

The Five of Swords is Geburah in Yetzirah, a severe Mars influence, is now in the Astral World. Now Mars is the consort of Venus in mythology (see illustration), and mythology is not a story telling a lie, but rather a story relating a truth. Mars influence in the Astral, causes all kinds of martial disturbances in the formative Astral fluid. The Blue Rose of Venus, which is the Rose of the Cross, can't take the buffeting of the Martian assault.  Along with the nine and ten of Swords, the Five is one of the most destructive events in the deck.  Here, loss, defeat, failure where contest is decided and finished against the person.

 

The Shadow Tarot 5 of Dark Energy at the Event Horizon/Vapula, represents, defeat, fearlessness and decision. The Shadow side of an angel, is a demon; angels and demons are both a part of the Christian Mythos.

If you have been reading this series, you may have the impression that there are an awful lot of "Great Dukes" of Hell. You also know that Christian Hell, is a derivative of the pagan Goddess Hel of the Norse mythology, whose "womb" was regenerative, and without punishment. But being extremely misogynistic, Christianity, promoted woman as the reason for mankind's "fall from grace". Woman was therefore a "lesser being' and her womb was often the place of "evil" and she must be punished. What might amaze you, is that all "Angels and Demons" are products of your Psyche.

 

What most of us haven't realized is that "our Soul" is a collective of experiences received by manifesting (giving birth to) and therefore examining, self images. This Whole Universe is about The Divine Creative becoming Self Aware through creation.

The Macrocosm is this Divine Collective Unconscious of experience and our souls are Microcosms of "Personalities" created by the Psyche that is created by Divine Self-Awareness. We are exact copies of the Universal Divine Collective Unconscious, in miniature. Therefore our Souls/Psyches are composed of the Forces of the Father, and the Forms of the Mother.  Our Soul is likened to a Tree of Great Fruit. Our personality is the fruit of this life giving tree who by experience has produced  succulent fruit. Therefore the Qabalistic Tree of Life was produced by many great minds, to awaken you to the "Adam Kadmon", the Ascended Human and the fecund fruitfulness of the Psyche that invented you. Wholeness is when the Psyche becomes one with the personality and vise verse.

Souls are wombs, in receptivity, and phallic in expressiveness.

By believing in the cultural concepts of Feminine as lesser than the Masculine, our Soul's power is divided and we reject receptivity (calling it Vulnerability and fearing it)  and think only in terms of expressing ourselves (self absorbed) and lack understanding. In other words, Ourselves are now only as "Half-Assed" as a barren fruit tree. But dear slaves your imagined comfort won't be disturbed, for being "half-assed" serves your master's just fine, for how else can you enslave a "Divine Being", than by "dividing its psyche and therefore conquering the will" which by the way is the likened to the Roman slogan of "Divide and Conquer."

The cultural personality, is man-made and never has been you. Therefore the Soul, doesn't know its name as "Me", and sleeps in the deep dreams of "I AM". Wake it UP! Scream, "You made me to be me, so wake up for goodness sake!"

The Soul, is a "Personality" library, of the Spiral energy it is composed of. A Life Frequency of I AM ME! In that Soul, is many "lives" born, lived and reabsorbed into the Soul-Collective of "Me". Many of those "spirit guides", angels, and demons, that you have met in your cognizant presence as a "channel Medium" or on the Astral  are simply "personalities" collected in your Soul library (Akashic records) that are awakening from passivity, because of the "disturbance" that you are causing in their "dreams". By being Lucid in the Astral Dreams of the Soul, you disturb the fluid passivity of the Divine Unconscious!

By working hard on being "The Whole" you, you are awakening the "many fragments of your Psyche" to your noisy and therefore active presence.  Wholeness, is indeed expansive, and liberating while also bringing the "Above Psyche to the below personality" and/or The Greater Personality to the lesser personality.

By developing beyond the group mind of your culture, you step above the clouded thinking of the enslaved, and become an active "point in time" and/or Entity. Being above the subservient dream of the many, makes you stand out, and you are now awakening the "sleeping Buddha" who dreams in passive existence. Everyone of us is a Bodhisattva (awake and living Buddha), in the making.

Without The Severity of necessary Soul intervention in our life motions, many of us would fail as personalities of progressive life expansion and liberation.  When the Soul believes enough in you to "kick your butt", it is a positive sign that you can go beyond your fears and succeed for the Divine in you has faith in your abilities.

The Qabalistic Tarot of Thoth or The Shadow Tarot gives you great tools for awakening the Divine in you, for they are tools of "Divination", an are keys to the library doors of greater self-awareness. Skry them, read them, be them and you will become the Magick you, leaving behind the tragic you, that mankind made.
