The Tarot of EliThe Thoth Two of Disks-Change, is representative of the dual change of inner and outer self and/or cause and effect. Uroboros (Oriental symbol of infinity), the snake that eats its own tail, symbolizes the consistency of cyclic change. Change is the positive Universal constant that keeps energy moving.

The figure eight  (Mobius Loop), represents balance and adjustment. It is a balance of two united circles which attempt to show in 2 dimensions, the spiral cycle of multidimensional energy.
Here we have the Chinese yin/yang symbols, both horizontal and vertical.
  1. The horizontal yin/yang represents tangible changes that can realized in the external reality.
  2. The vertical yin/yang indicates internal change.
  3.  The black and white serpent in the back ground represents that which is knowable (white) and that which is unfamiliar (black) and indicates that the unification of opposites is a change that expands and liberates our awareness from the ignorance of the "good/bad" 2 dimensional world of mankind, to the greater Awareness of Love.
  4. Change is also elemental, as shown by the triangular shapes (within the "dots" of the yin/yang symbols)which are the old alchemical symbols of the earth, air, water and fire .
The astrological aspect of this card is Jupiter in Capricorn symbolizing the expansive, positive, opportunistic manipulation of external changes (Jupiter) that are also stable, solid, and secure in your life (Capricorn).
All the 2's of Qabalistic Tarot are ruled by the Second Sephira, Chokmah, which is Wisdom and is also the governing factor of the Four Kings.

Again:
Chokmah is:
  • The Active Supernal Father, as Kether is the God the Observer who is inactive .
  • The Will to Force , combined with Binah the Will to Form, making the Divine Marriage of Will to Be..
  • Dynamic outpouring Energy. (Vital Force)
  • Unorganized and Uncompensated. Organization happens in the fourth Sephira Chesed.
  • The Great Stimulator
  • The First Positive.

Chokmah's symbols are:

The Line, the Yod and the Phallus. Chokmah is also called the Sphere of the Zodiac and the color is a grey made of a swirling of all colors that have not yet been organized. Here the Mystery of Sex, is apply termed and begun. The Mystery of Positive and Negative polarities, of Electric and Magnetic Force. The Universal union of opposites that makes motion possible, that is why Chokmah is the Great Stimulator .

THE QABALISTIC THOTH TWO OF DISKS-CHANGE:

Known also as the Two of Pentacles, this card is the Lord of Harmonious Change.. Astrologically, The Two of Disks is Jupiter in Capricorn  The Angels of the Decan are Lekabel and Yeshiriah.

The Thoth Two of Disks represents Chokmah's influence in the Material World known as Assiah to Qabalists.
Traditionally, Jupiter is known as a benevolent planet but is not well placed in Capricorn where it's only positive influence can be exercised in organization. Thus the harmonies of dual interactions which are inherent in Chokmah are assured in earthly application.

As One Energy in Atziluth (Supernal Triangle) , the Duality of Energy (He-She) is now completely expressed in duality  and/or polarity making a circle into a Figure Eight; a symbol that also represents infinity. This figure eight (Lemnistrate, Greek for "Ribbon")  is shown as A Large Serpent on the card, the Uroboros.
As you know, Serpentine Force, is waves of frequencies of the One Energy; Uroboros is also a very ancient symbol for Wisdom (The Greek God Python and the Goddess Sophia), the English name of Chokmah. Thus the Two of Disks also suggests the underlying patterns of alternation in all matter and the profoundly powerful relationship between opposites as shown in the use of the yin yang symbol on this card. However, in divination this card represents the harmony of change.

The Shadow Tarot/Amon/ 2 of Worm Holes and Radioactive Neutron Stars,
is the comparable card to the Qabalistic Thoth 2 of Disks. Amon, an original ancient God Name of the Egyptians, is illustrated as the sigil of Christian, demonized version of Amon. Amon is the 7th spirit in the order that Solomon bound them.
He issupposedly a "stern infernal Marquis" of great power, who appears as a wolf with a serpent's tail, vomiting flames of fire and takes the form of a man with a Raven's head and dog's teeth. (It looks to me that some "Ridddilin" imbibing child got very happy with his play-doe sculpturing).

Aamon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia  (Redirected from Amon (demon)) Aamon Aamon (also Amon and Nahum), in demonology, is a Marquis of Hell who governs forty infernal legions. Description[edit]The names Aamon and Amon come from the god Amun or from the god Baal-hamonNahum means who induces to eagerness. According to the tradition, Aamon has little owl's headlion's or wolf's fore part of the body, including legs, and worm's or snake's tail. He knows all past and future events.Bibliography[edit]

The bastardization of the name Ammon, is a long tradition. The name Baal-hamon is  from the Semites, Baal-Hamman, who was Lord of the Brazier. Egyptians called him Ammon. In Elam, the god was Haman, he was slain as a surrogate for Marduk (Jewish-Mordecai). One version of his sacrificial dramas appears in the Book of Esther, and a Eucharistic eating  of his body is still preformed through the Purim cakes called hamantaschen.
Then there was Ra-Amman, a Sun god. Baal-Haman was also a god of fire, and this seemed to be what the Egyptian Priests seized on as a way to usurp the Priestesses of Ra-t, which is Ra with the feminine ending-t: "Ra-t of the two lands, the lady of heaven, mistress of the gods...Mistress of Heliopolis." Her full name was Rat-taiut, "Ra-t of the World". Her city translated into the Greek city of Heliopolis, the Egyptian Anu, which the Bible called On. Here is where the Hebrews got their "King Solomon" which translates into "Sun of On", i.e. Ra-T. You can find more information on Ra-t, mentioned in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

Therefore the Patriarchal necessity to oust the Matriarch caused an auto-creation myth to be created by the Priests of Ra during the Ptolemaic period, as some of Ra's votaries rejected the idea that Ra was born of the Mother of Gods (Nut): they called him "self-begotten and self-born".  An ancient hymn from that time period addressed Ra as "divine divinity, that came into being of himself, primeval god, that existed at the beginning." But this passage was an interpolation. For the same hymn also said," Thou art fair, O Ra, everyday thy mother Nut embraceth thee."[Erman,139] Leading us to the somewhat weird images of Ra, "ingesting his own semen beneath the goddess  Nut (Nuit) who is sporting her own beard and Phallus.  This makes an odd looking Hermaphrodite statue!
As any scholar can see, demons, are just Jewish & Christian demonized gods of older religions.
So, as a psychic engine that assist one with "magick abilities", of an Oracular nature, I would call on Rat-taiut for she is far older. But I guess the Christian Monkish authors of Demonology, couldn't have some female chap, sucking on her own Phallus- (?)-so we get a very weird looking demon image of Amon, that couldn't possibly be assembled by any Divine Creative who values life.  For even Dr. Frankenstein couldn't sew this one together and make it live; even with all the power of a nuclear reactor!

Nevertheless:
WHEN THE TWO OF DISKS or The Shadow Tarot/Amon IS THROWN DURING A READING it implies:

  • A transition or transformation in the physical.
  • A juggling of affairs in order to balance material life.
  • Cause and effect. Recognizing the infinite process of yin yang.
  • Handling inner growth and outer achievement at the same time.
  • Keeping several propositions going at once. The flow of movement made by skillful manipulation, achieves success.
  • Time to reflect on the situation and balance both sides most often with unconsidered action.
  • This is a card of Change, the most important corrective in the Universe, as it keeps transformation going.  Plus the combining of opposites makes diversity possible, For example if you combine blue with blue, you only get blue, But Blue with Red makes Purple, and color is now diversified. Energy alone, is just everywhere and no-where at the same moment but energy combined with Magnetism is Form and thus the fabric of time/space.
  • There will be opportunities in the next two weeks or two months, to make stable and secure external changes in your life that will expand and liberate you from the past stasis in you life.
  • It is time to make more expansive, balanced and stable changes in your relationships with Capricorn people--December 21-January 21.
  • Time to choose a physical path by affirming and nurturing a new form of financial, material or inner stability.
  •  This card states, that opposites are illusions and that all things are ultimately the same thing.
