Tarot Card Comparisons: The Thoth Two of Wands-Dominion & The Connolly Tarot -Two of Wands-

The symbol of the the two Dorjes (Tibetan symbols of the Thunder bolt) show balanced masculine expressed forces. The electric force that is a masculine active flow of energy towards achievement of goals is Twice focused in equilibrium.

In this balanced Yod (Hebrew for, Hands) state, where the  expressed will of personality and the soul are in union, there is no lust for result; but joy in united creation. Hence this card shows committed active power; a "do or die" kind of flow that will not be denied. This Spiritual Sovereignty is where the body is balanced and recognized as "another" spirit form, thereby becoming tireless in the flow of electric force into domain. 

The heads adorning this Dorjes, are of the Khadro (ma) [Tibetan Angels who are the highest form of female] show that this is a polarizing force, balanced by the magnetic receptive force of female. A definite form is enlivened by this union and pure will- to-force and Will-to-Form, makes this new ideal manifest.

 The Two of Wands is a card representing combined Spiral flows of energy, therefore it represents a very powerful force of "twin flames" ; as in all power, it can be ill defined. Electric male energy given a form such as fortune, health, and magnificence can also be given forms of illness, poverty and mortification. All of which it will enliven. So it is best to understand the "law of Attraction" and know that what you put willful emotion to---will be your life motion. To focus you energy (Emotion is Energy-in-Motion) on lack, misery, hate, and distrust will only get you more lack, misery, hate and distrust and in its extreme will result in violence towards others! If this card is thrown with the cards of sorrow, defeat, debauch etc... it is time to change your perspectives!

Great will takes great focus, twice great will requires a single focus, in this case on Dominion! To change the direction of energy in motion,  deep focused meditations on"What you are grateful for" when done diligently, will succeed in changing the charge of powerful attraction towards forming a more positive creation.  This is Sex-force in its purest form. It is the intercourse of Spirit will and body personal conscious will, towards achievement; where all "things" are known as the dominion of Spirit as the Divine Creative.  The Will that is Spirit in duality, is the Force here and the body is the Form the force is taking as domain. Polarity, is achieved by the flowing  between 2 poles, positive-negative, Male-Female, the union of force and form, so once again I state that highly charged emotional thoughts must be focused on what you want, "what is" rather than "what is not"; making  this  a positive re- birthing experience. This is also a card of self confidence and affirming a positive approval of yourself. All of which is necessary to accomplish your goals.

 

 

To reiterate: the key to all systems, as well as, the Universal Pattern is the only Reality, we know as Chokmah (Wisdom) on the Tree of Life. Kether is not or no-thing, therefore it is not reality. When we cause reality, it is of our beliefs and opinions united, so I often call Chokmah the Real...for it is not of us, but is the will before us.  Our beginning is in Chokmah, the idea of "I" , and the Will to Form, the idea of Am, all begin in the Supernal Triangle of Kether-(no-thing), Chokmah (Will to force) and Binah (Will to Form). Thus as a Spiral Entity, a I-AM-Me we are Dreaming ourselves into willful existence.   For now, we know ourselves to be Will To Force and Will to Form in a intercourse in the "honeymoon suite" that is ME! Another way to say this, is that , "I", is a crucible, a vessel, where Will to Force is the fire of transubstantiation, where energy becomes forged into form-Am.  Now this may confuse you, for a vessel is Magnetic form, making "I", the Divine Masculine, Female when it is forming "AM" of itself! This fact is supported by the Masculine Will-to-Force, as a Qabalistic Hebrew word is a Feminine noun! But this is not really a contradiction in nature, for all is energy is preforming as Masculine when Transmitted, and is Feminine when Forming to give "birth" to identity. 

Therefore, I Am is the Divine Creative that is both Feminine and Masculine, forming a "flow of Force into Form" and "Form into Force".  The ancient Greeks knew this by stating that all came from Hera and that there was no "father god, until she named him father"/i.e. created form.

 

 

Also called the Lord of Dominion and whose zodiacal attribution is Mars in Aries. The Angels of the Decan are Vehooel and Deneyal.

Again we are trying to explain the inexpiable which is the Supernal Triangle. This second Sephiroth is Pure will, without need of result as its will is the result. Which to many is impossible to realize for most of us exercise will to reach goals. We don't realize that will is the Power behind Spirit, the Spiraling of Energy into motions that build microwave dimensions of I AM. But before frequencies are stimulated into being, there was Will to Force ( Chokmah-the Divine masculine) and then Will to Form (Binah-The Divine Feminine).

The Qabalistic Sephiroth are called Beings  that may be Force or may be form, but in fact, a Being to a Qabalist is a "immortal state of intelligent Energy".  While we may all know that the living forms that we are used to, have a beginning and an end, a Being is "point in time", and therefore it has not depth and its dimension is infinite Pi.  In Chokmah is Being. The First Being---The All Father Electric who has no form until She the Magnetic- the third Sephira-Binah "wills him to Form".  Here in the Two of Wands is that joining of the Two states of  Will That is "He" and "She", Will to Force and Will to Form, both being masculine in this state as both are "expressing will" as "animated being"!

The 2 of Wands represents, energy in an unbridled state of Force, for Mars is exalted in Aries as the fiery Mars rules the fiery sign Aries. Here Fire, i.e. Spirit, is pure Primal, and brilliant, warm and bright as both Will to Force and Will to Form flow as one. The Dorjes, Tibetan symbols for Thunderbolts, are shown crossed on this card, emphasizing the equal power and harmony of this card. Will to Force and Will to From are in balance here,  the forceful Dominion of Spirit has become a domain, i.e the element of Fire (Shin) expressing itself in material form . 

  Mars and Aries both represent an aggressive fiery force and therefore martial dual force is applied here. There is no lust of result in this Pure Will, made of the harmony of "He" and "She" aspects of the One Energy. The Union in itself is a joy-filled journey of "I AM". Therefore  there is no "battle of the sexes" where one wishes to rule the relationship over the other.  There is the Union of Wisdom (Chokmah-I) and Understanding (Binah-Am), that gives birth to Knowledge and all creation. Here, Energy is initiating a current of Force; a Spiral of Energy from which all domain is created and which is impossible to divide!  I AM, is impossible to rationally divide in to I and Am! I AM denotes existence, and to deny you exist, isn't rationally possible! What you decide to exist as (Me) is a process of ratiocination and as a microcosmic "I AM", is yours to freely identify. 

When the word Harmony is mentioned, one often thinks of peace and quiet bliss, but this is the Violent Destructive Harmonious Force that initiated the "Big Bang", totally without resistance in and of itself but destructive none the less, for it is "as fire", both consumptive and trans-formative. A Rhythmic intercourse in the Substance of Mind; a substance we call Spirit.   A Singularity (I) exploded  "outward" to form the building blocks of our Universe (AM) and disturbed the peace and balance of absolute stability, so that "change can become a constant"; the One Energy can now Transform according to SELF. For all Self is a duality of "force and form", i.e. I AM. 

Hence the two Thunderbolts of  Mars and  Aries represents that Powerful Gathering of Will (Kether)/ to Force the deconstruction of- "I" for the purpose reconstruction as- " I Am"; a gathering of Will to Force and Will to Form and or the beginning of Trans-formative Energy. Therefore, the first law of Thermodynamics is created, [....there is only one energy that cannot be created nor destroyed, only transformed...and transmitted].  One Energy is now in motion as "flow", which requires "I"  transforming to "I AM", a dual identity of I and Another way to be "I"  and/or "AM" which spirals back into intercourse with I examining  I Am; giving birth to the concept of "Me" . This interaction of examination, forms the 2nd law of Thermodynamics which is "all things proceed from order (Me) into disorder (I Am)", we may call this "life and death".  Therefore, to a Hermetic Qabalist, the Thoth Two of Wands represents the First and Second Law of thermodynamics, in harmonic Union, inseparably active and therefore creating the Trans-formative entity of I AM ME...the Wholly Trinity of All Creation!

Upon examination, the student may fail to see the "3" of the Supernal Triangle, when viewing the 2 of wands. This is because the Foundation of 2 is One Indivisible Energy which is a no-thing, which cannot be depicted as number ( I had one student say, "what about  the number zero", but zero is not a number as it denotes "lack of number"). Such a rational dilemma is also encountered when one is trying to depict imagination, which is not image itself, but can only be examined as image.

Now this  explanation may all may seem complicated due to over simplification, however the whole "you", Wholly Spirit, is the Ternary Mind of I (Unconscious/imagination) Am (Conscious/ratiocination ) and Me-Form, who is the "Golden Child" of the Divine Creative- I AM! Realizing that the Qabalistic Axiom of, "Above all things know thyself" really states that simply being "Me" is exactly what the Divine "I AM" Wants and this releases us from all goal because we are Creation enjoying itself as a sensual expression of Will to Force and Will to Form! In other words, Being Me is the Goal achieved by the Divine!

Therefore, once again, Saturn who is the image we give "Grandfather time"( first and second law of thermodynamics) states-----------------------

mundanely relates the idea of Dominion as success in business and plans. The green clothed man standing in a fortification while holding the Earth, shows dominion of Masculine force and the flowers, birds and fertile wands depict the Feminine force. The red sun is presumably a representation of Mars/Aries. Very colorful and a pretty card that doesn't visually dwell in the realms, of the metaphysical.
