![THE TAROT OF ELI THE TAROT OF ELI]()
As I have previously stated, Geburah, the Fifth Sephiroth called Severity, which rules the five's of Tarot, may be
severe but brings a necessary corrective in our lives by tearing away
all that is useless thought, and emotion, that is outdated and unproductive.
In this physical Universe most of us understand that there is only one
energy that we can't create, nor can we destroy it. We can however,
transfer it and transform it. Therefore, transformation is a process of
deconstructing and then reconstructing that which is envisioned, i.e. the prosperity of death.
Transmitting energy is done sexually or in some from of intimacy and/or
communication, where we are in communion with someone or something. Such
as the intimacy of healers or shamanistic rites etc. The flow of this
vital force is often called love, as such we could say that the intimacy
of the negative pole as it joins with a positive pole of a magnet
proves love. But being Spiritual beings, we know Love is more that
energy flow, it is a communion of multiple conscious and unconscious attributes. Intimacy is
not just physical touching, tasting, smelling, hearing or seeing, even
though those are usually involved. Intimacy is also where one Auric Field
blends with another and chakras join in harmonic flow. In other words, an energy weaving (wyrding) into a new mental, emotional, spiritual and physical pattern for both parties.
A multiplication of 7 dimensions weaving with another 7 dimensions,
becoming 49. These 49 are really a numeric 4+ 9= 13 and Key 13 is the
Death Card, which means a "Spiritual Transformation".
However
wonderful energy in motion as form is, it also has and end. That would be the
second law of Thermodynamics where"...
all things proceed from order to
disorder." So a Master weaver of Self, would see the disorder in Self-patterns, and deconstruct them and reconstruct a new order of Self.
Here's where Geburah steps in to assist us, she makes us view the
disorder, and as a corrective, we can now remove the old and build the
new.
THE THOTH FIVE OF CUPS- DISAPPOINTMENT: Is
also known as Lord of loss in pleasure. Here the planet Mars is
in Scorpio. The angels of the Decan are: Livoyah and Pehilyah.
As the 5
of cups, Geburah is influencing the Mental World, Geburah in Briah.
By
now you may know that the Alchemical Element-Water is consciousness,
and a sever situation is sensually presented in the 5 of Cups. Mars is
violent energy and in the water sign Scorpio, this produces an extremely
emotional effect.
The once full cups are empty, implying loss of
that which is loved. Geburah is fiery of nature, and still or placid water is
totally at odds with this active force, thus causing a disturbance and loss of pleasure. The Thoth 5 of cups card, if supported by the proper accompanying cards,
can even mean death of a loved one. The inverted pentagram represents
the triumph of matter over spirit and where disturbance arises in the
middle of ease.
The Elemental Tarot, 5 of Water/Sudden Rain, displays and interesting scene of extreme feelings. Shown are two identical men, stepping on a platform and reaching toward each other without touching. Between them is an upside down red woman (the color of the Sephira-Geburah is red/ a feminine Mars) balancing on folded arms. This seems an odd yoga position, that shows strain upon her face. This red feminine also has deeper, darker connotation in the Qabalah and the Shadow Tarot (The other side of the Tarot card, is the Other side of the Mirror of the Mysteries, i.e. the dark side). In the Shadow world of the Unconscious is the dimension of the "Blood Moon" (Red Menstrual Flow of the Faceless Goddess); this is the blood of life, that can be compared to the Ultra-red light flows from the Dark energy/Dark Matter universe. More about the Shadow Tarot of Qabalah, will be explained in future blogs of Tarot Card Comparisons. You'll not want to miss that series!![]()
Sharp arrow heads rain down around all the figures. I would say that they mimic the war like disturbance of Mars, for here emotions are as extreme as war.
The large yellow, open eye, floating on a pink lake is an expression of artistic license, representing sudden awareness, and disruptive emotions.
In the upper left hand corner of the 5 of Water card, are the signs of the Moon and Pluto. This combination never happens in astrology, so I would call it the Moon in Scorpio, as Pluto is the ruling planet of the water sign Scorpio. The connotations of such would indeed be extreme emotions. As this placement of the Moon, would denote a mysterious person who has a strong and early fascination with anything forbidden, taboo, and mysterious.
Moon in Scorpio people often are also fascinated with the subconscious dark world and sexuality. In woman this placement is often called The dark Fairy, as it impels a mother to be emotionally bound and extremely committed to her child. Therefore, wanting to know everything about her child, leaving the child with no secrets and tending to keep her child in a state of dependency. The Moon in Scorpio is also anthropomorphized as the Dark Madonna, the Serpent Woman, the Spider Woman and/or the uncanny red seductress that is Babalon (A.Crowley's spelling) of Crowley fame.
The god name Fa, at the bottom of the Card is an African god of destiny. On the left hand lower corner of the card are the Egyptian glyphs that represent this card.
The upper right hand side of this card displays the number 5 and the symbol of 5, the pentagram.
- Experiencing
emotional disappointment for 5 weeks or 5 months.
- Usually implications
of relying too much on others for love, rather than loving themselves.
- Here, there is a certain crying over past events, a experience of
grieving over what has been lost.
- Emotional discord as one begins to
adapt.
- This is a card of regret, loss and separation.
- The corrective of
Geburah is being applied here, and it is the beginning of recovery.
- Being forced by outside influences to reassess one's feelings.
- If ill defined, giving up to fate by refusing to deal with reality.
