THE TAROT OF ELI                     Thoth Key 14- Art/Temperance
The universal principle of integration; synthesis; synergy.

We all are androgynous and in order for us to balance the polarities, paradoxes, and/or opposites in our nature. Sure, there is only One Energy/God but One is always one. To make multiples, One became Two and Two joined to make many. The "I" joined with The "Am" and made "Me", our Psyche Trinity.

Every symbol on this key/card represents union of polarities which creates something new. This Synergy is the union of two or more principles when united, can create a greater whole. Here, Leo the lion; a fire sign drinks from the cauldron with Scorpio, the phoenix, a water sign. Water and fire combine to make steam. This heated expansion of water produces rain, oceans and the living world. Since the alchemical-water represents Consciousness, and Fire represents Spirit, this synergy produces all consciousness from the Unconscious Collective of the Universe expanding Mind/Air.

Together, Leo; fire and Scorpio; water drink from the cauldron of Air/life force. The cauldron displays the bird and skull, motif of life/death, a transformational experience for all the alive.
Sun and Moon are portrayed, as the Male solar electric and the Female Moon magnetic from which all the Stars and forms are created.

Sagittarius ; the arrow going up the central part of the androgynous figure, reminds us that through our alive visions and dreams is how we fully express our artistry  that creates who we are as well as helps us resolve any apparent conflicts or opposition within our very nature.

The light and dark of our nature must be in communion before we can be whole and fully express our wholeness. The light and dark arms and faces, combined in union, create the balanced and tempered Being.
In many other tarot decks, key 14 is called Temperance, which implies the heating and cooling of forged steel to make a keen, flexible blade or the slow cooling down process of tempering glass. And in a way, this process is the Art Card's Path of Samekh (meaning -Prop), as it is attributed to the restriction and control over the forces of existence.

Master Theron, however, in his book 777, made this comment on the letter Samekh: It is "The Womb preserving Life.  Self-control and Self-sacrifice govern the Wheel."
Leading from Yesod ( foundation) to Tiphareth (beauty), the Path of Samekh  is as from Moon (Self-reflection) to Sun (Solar Source), from Personality to the Higher Self.
On this very difficult Path, the very enormity of the Great Work ( As above, so below) will be experienced. On this inner path of the psyche, the initiate may experience going through a long dark tunnel, believing ( not knowing) there is Light at the end of it.  Therefore the Qabalistic Path of Samekh, The Art card, has been called the Path of "the dark night of the Soul", verifying that the Shadow side of this 25th path, is a journey of trial and temptation.

Samekh, is the Intelligence of Probation, as Paul Foster Case labels it in his text, THIRTY-TWO PATHS OF WISDOM. In various Gnostic texts, it is also called, "Daughter of the Reconcilers, the Bringer Forth of Life." All of these phrases lead us right to the very idea behind this card; the Great Mother Binah. Thus, the central figure of this card, is Female. Also, the ruling sign of the Path of Samekh, is Sagittarius,  the Archer, who is also Diana the Huntress, goddess of the Moon. All of which repeats the principle that with the exception of the FOOL (0),  all the figures of the Tarot are Mother Binah (Understanding) and Father Chokma (Wisdom) in different states of Force and Form.

Another helpful reference book, VOICE OF ISIS- by Hariette and Homer Curtis describes the Universal Mother (The Womb with a View) as the "power of bringing forth in humanity the Divine Child or the Christ." This bearing of the Child is us reborn and achieved by conquering the Path of Samekh or The Art. We are not only to be Moons, reflections of  personality, but also the Solar Personality, that is the Divine Child.
Now don't misunderstand, the Art card demonstrates how the experience of rebirth is brought about, which is to say, through the exchange and equilibrium of opposites which can only be symbolically described, but it does not demonstrate the birth itself.

Thus, the symbolism here is not to demonstrate a "deep Mystery", rather this symbolism demonstrates  how limited and inadequate is our language to describe the process. That is why the Qabalistic Tarot Reader, is not one who thinks that by memorizing descriptions and numbers of the cards they are a Tarot Reader. Rather, it is by skrying, meditating, prana-yama yoga and subjectively "walking the Paths", turning subjective into objective sensation, i.e. the process of actual experience ....one begins to Understand the Tarot.

The Art Card is not nearly so symbolic as some believe, it symbolizes the Alchemical Art where  Fire becomes Water and Water becomes Fire (...."When the male is no longer male and the female, female." : Gnostic Gospel of Thomas). This process is describing an actual event/process that happens in the initiates material body, i.e. an actual physical transformation. Thus we have illustrated on this card a Androgynous figure, combining the Water (consciousness) with Lightning (Fiery Spirit) creating in the Golden Cistern (the Human body) what is known as the Living Water and/or consciousness vivified by merging with  Fiery Spirit.  By bringing Spirit into the body, Spirits fiery nature not only tempers the consciousness, one also tempers the Spirit with consciousness, forming "something more than the sum of its parts; a union of Master and Masterpiece!
This alchemical process is often describe by Qabalists as a personal application of the Yod (fire) and Heh (water) uniting in the body to produce Vau (Air) within the individual crucible of form which is Heh-final and Earth. Often this process is described as a "Spiritual Orgasm" or "The Ecstasy" which is a process demanding inner manipulation of sexual forces (He-She) and is shown as an golden energy (in the shape of a stylized arrow) firing  upward and across the shoulders of the Divine figure in the Art Card.

Even the often flesh-o-phobic Christian iconography, has accepted this Spiritual Orgasm. For instance, the ecstasy of the 16th century mystic, Saint Theresa which was described as an angel thrusting a flaming arrow into her heart .
The symbolical of the piecing arrow that brings ecstatic enlightenment is  actually an archetypal, and mufti-cultural accepted description of a real process of physiological transformation! What happens is a rhythmic, pleasuring motion of  inner energy, and ebb and flow that is confined (shown as the figure eight associate with the Magus) in very specific perimeters (oval or womb shaped) but which is taken in either direction at will.
The Magus, knows that by changing the vibration of inner energy, one raises or lowers the level of consciousness, moving from Chakra to Chakra or Path to Path. Simply stated: the Kundalini (sexual energy) acting upon consciousness produces astral images, the pictures that form our minds.

At first, many students find the symbolism of the Major Arcana  complicated; However, the principle of the Path of Samekh or Art, is to produce a consciously controlled vision that is limited by will.  Therefore the purpose of Hermetic, Qabalistic, and Gnostic symbols is to furnish descriptions that most anyone can relate to. They are not remote or really complicated if you focus on one at a time. In fact most of the symbolic language of the Mysteries, has been superseded by the language of Carl Jung and other psychologists. To Carl Jung, this ability to consciously control Visions, would be called "lucid dreaming", which is known to help the individual correct personality disorders.
The Qabalist, Robert Wang goes on to explain, in his text book: THE QABALISTIC TAROT," It should be added that the Metals described in Alchemical literature are the same as the Seven Chakras of the Hindus, the Seven Planets and the Serphiroth of the Microprosopus [lower seven on the Tree of Life.]. These words have been used as codes over the centuries, meaning seven distinct levels of objective consciousness. Thus when one speaks of a Planet ruling a sign of the Zodiac, what is meant in the relationship of a Sign to a given center of energy both in the Greater Universe and in the Human body." (the brackets are my own explanation).

The Art of awakening these Paths in the Human Body, is the Qabalistic initiates goal. "To Know Thyself" is to know the "As above and so below" nature of our Whole Self.
Again, the Art Card, is the sign of Sagittarius which is ruled by the planet Jupiter the Planetary ruler of the Sephiroth- Chesed (Wisdom). Here, we should remember that Chesed is the architect of all manifestation, working with the "will to form"and/or "potential to form" of Binah (Understanding).

As explained before, Art-Key 14- The Path of Samekh, is an actual physical process, and an initiation for centuries of Gnostic, Mystics, Tantrics, Alchemists, and Qabalists. Samekh is a willed process of directing the communion or interchange of opposite energies. The beginning of this process is begun by the Higher Self; a process which is instituted in the Sephiroth Chesed, the most refined, point of  Microprosopus, to which the Higher Self is central.
Chesed is the enacting force (phallus) of the Great Mother Binah's process of  "will to form"(womb). Until the initiate accomplices  this process of the Path of Samekh, the Higher Self (Shown as an androgynous figure on the card) cannot be known to the personality.

Thus the Art of "Spiritual Alchemy" describes this Card and the whole process as a preparation of the Personality, and its physical vehicle, to deal with the Solar Forces (influx of Light) which would devastate a "normal" system. This "Spiritual Alchemy" is an ongoing process of measuring and testing, instigated by the Higher Self, to see how much the physical body can bear . When properly tempered, and the body can finally handle the stress of such energy, the arrow is released (Kundalini rises). Once contacted on the Path of Samekh, the Higher Self will regulate the flow, so the individual isn't harmed, A great jolt of energy, will tell the individual to "back off', and relax.  Because this is a Passion so overwhelming, it is often described as Divine Anger, which is apt if we realize that anger is for self-motivation; to get off of one's butt and do something. It could be said that Divine Anger is the motivation for Sagittarius to launch his/her (Diana) arrow.

All in all, the Art Card key 14, is the consummation of the Divine Marriage, depicted on the Lovers card Key 6, here the Orgasm of Spirit has been reached.  There is a perfect interchange of forces, as the Red Lion has become white, and the White lion has become Red. The Art card shows Water being poured on Fire and Fire is merged with Water, all within the purified physical vehicle, shown as the Golden Cauldron, i.e. the Master's body. Get and read the Text Book, The Qabalistic Tarot by Robert Wang and the Book of Thoth by Aleister Crowley, for further explanation of this coded process.
THE SHADOW TAROT KEY 25- SAKSAKSALIM, is the Qliphoth card of the Qabalistic Path 25 and the Tarot Card key 14 of the Thoth deck.

Becoming one with all sensation, the individuality is annihilated, consciousness breaks through to paranormal awareness; via union of opposites, the Elixir is distilled.
The Shadow Tarot

"And a mighty angel appeared as a woman, pouring vials of woe upon the flames, lighting the pure stream with her brand of cursing. And the iniquity was very great."
Aleister Crowley, Liber CCXXXI

"The 25th ray illumines the Tunnel of Saksaksalim whose number is 300 and whose non-being may be induced to assume form by the vibration of a high pitched electric crackling sound in the key of 'G' sharp . . . "
". . . the Golden Dawn symbolism of the 5 = 6 Grade . . . should be studied . . . "
Kenneth Grant, Nightside of Eden

The Shadow Side Tarot card 25-SakSakSalim, shows a Goat headed entity, emitting rays of light frequency form its forehead. The richness of this symbol of illustrates the intrepid working entity of the Void or Abyss of infinite Space, who by stimulation of the 16 kalas (frequencies)x 16 marmas (nexus for  acupuncture or pressure point work) of the Etheric body= 256 vibrating nodes in the web of light (the etheric body is a web/grid of golden energy lines), has distilled rare endocrine elixirs into the cup. The cup base bares the symbol for the Ancient Voodoo Priestess, Ayizan. Which is also associated to the zodiacal sign Aries
by often showing the goatentity of the void and mars force.

All of the complex symbolism of this Shadow tarot card seems devoted to the divine Hermaphrodite, Androgyny, or bisexuality of the Great Mother in an Alchemical process to transcend all polarity limited existence.
There is also reference to the "Eye of Ain" the symbol on the forehead of the Goat on the Thoth Devil Card. The combined forces of the Male and female electric and magnetic frequencies are shown as arrows transfixing Tiamat- Kingu moon, the Alchemical Dragon deity of Sumer.
If you ask me, her awe of these experiences on the Qliphoth (Shadow side of the Tree of Life) has caused Linda to jump from Myth to Myth hoping to pass on some of the ecstasy involved in such depths of the Cosmic Psyche.  This "gadding about" makes it entirely difficult for the student to understand any of it.

Let me just state that the often alchemical elixir,"The Philosopher's Stone", is the etheric/ physical substance gained by entering  the psyche tunnel of Saksaksalim. Again, to make the "master's body", that is capable of extreme Dragon-ish behavior of the Kundalini Serpent Fire of the Primal Creative Realms and which resides in the Kundalini Chakra as a sleeping- coiled force, ready to rise, with the proper stimulation or wake-up call. It is our galactic inheritance from the Annunaki/Nephilim ("Those who from the sky came"). Someday, it will be wide awake in all of us, but for now, each individual must, by proper ablations, meditations, and yoga, wake up the "inner-dragon" and become a union of Master and Masterpiece. Therefore, we'll go into the explanation of abilities gained.

The powers or magic abilities gained from a successful skrying of The Shadow Tarot-Saksaksalim card are:

  1. Spiritual transcendence through the sensible objects of consciousness, opening up the pineal gland to higher sight vibrations.
  2. The ability to amass sexual energy.
  3. Expand intelligence, and sensual desire.
  4. Joining "left brain" and "right brain" polarities breaking through primitive reptile and mammalian consciousness into the Paranormal  levels of Spiritual consciousness.
  5. The power to manipulate electromagnetic currents that are the "vital life force" of all being.
  6. Tantric/Taoist powers of the "white tiger, green dragon" Tantric yoga.
The reader, must investigate these yoga's for themselves, this blog is already too long!

When the Qabalistic Thoth- Art card or Shadow Tarot- Saksaksalim card is thrown during a reading, the querent is experiencing or will soon experience:

  • A combination of forces effecting realization and action. A blending of all circumstances in order to achieve balance.
  • Trials and tribulations that lead to the "middle path", arriving at a profound realization. When
  • That one is blending all circumstances to create balance.
  • Balancing the opposite and different conditions of life.
  • One has either been seeking or have at their disposal the knowledge to blend different  life aspects, thereby creating harmony. We have a lot of knowledge to inherit from the Divine and must have active balance to receive it!
  • This is the Law of Creativity.
  • The Angel that we are has united with the Animal that we have enlivened in order to be the Divine expression of now!

THE TAROT OF ELIThoth Key 15- THE DEVIL.

The difference between a comedy and a tragedy is that in a comedy the characters figure  out reality in time to do something about it.
--Bennett W. Goodspeed

The Universal Principle of mirth combined with stability. This card in the deck has gone through a transformation within itself. Greek Mythology described the half-goat- half- man as Pan the Sensual god of Merriment which also latter became the god Bacchus of merriment and wine.

In Egyptian mythology, this was Ra, a sun deity symbol of Life Force and Energy. During the middle ages, the inquisitional backlash to the panistic cults caused the Devil image to be created.
Interestingly, the Devil spelled backwards is Lived, and shows the obvious reason for this backlash-propaganda against "living-it-up" which was considered hedonism. We must culturally now consider the body a burden and sensuality improper.
The Devil/Pan archetype represents the need to face whatever "bedevils" us. It reminds us to handle life from a place of humor which gives us the sure footedness of a goat  ( Capricorn) and the humor of Pan (the smiling goat). To avoid the ensnarement (the web image of spider like veils on the Thoth Card)  we must hold on to our sense of humor. With mirth and stability one is centered when one faces real or imagined problems. It's okay to laugh in a traffic jam!

Capricorn, the goat, is able and willing to look at internal issues (third eye) and external bedevilment with both eyes wide open and focused straight ahead.

The Egyptian Eye of Horus staff represents our vision and intuition that  protects us from peer pressure and other peoples reaction to our creative motion. Busy bodies can't hold a candle to self-knowledge---they have none, that is why they try to do everyone else! (It's okay to laugh at Myna birds, they just mimic intelligence).

The male figures and female figures represent  the creative power ability to combine male -electric and female- magnetic forces within our natures to create unlimited self possibilities. Mirth allows us to be able to break the bondage of self- definition supplied by culture, society, media, and peers.

The Mirthful creator identifies Himself/Herself as you. Therefore you are free to define yourself as you will. The Divine knows that all is self-illusion, therefore Self-Image is illusion; a joyful creation of self. This is known as Freedom of Choice and is personally called I Am Me.

The duality of Creation, the I AM, is always about polarities, i.e. the Law of attraction and resonance, positive-negative, space-time , male-female, unconscious-conscious etc.; the union of opposites creates offspring, and/or diversity, therefore the Electric "I" united with the Magnetic "AM" creates a electromagnetic "me".
The rings of Saturn are seen at the top of the card, as Saturn rules the sign of Capricorn.

On the Qabalistic Tree of Life, The Devil-Key 15: The Path of Ayin, connects the Sephiroth of the  Solar Logos-Tiphareth with the Sephiroth- Hod, which is the sphere of Mercury and intellect.

The Path of Ayin, is the Twenty-sixth Path, in both the Qabalah and The Shadow Tarot and is formative Path. In the terms of Self structure, it is the bridge between the Personality and individuality.

As I have stated before, the Solar Logos, is the Original Personality of the Divine Child of God, i.e. the Son/Sun. Note: this is not a sexual description of a species, rather it is an Energetic one. For the Son of God is a Sun that sends "solar flares" (Divine Energy) outward as individual expressions of It's own Self ( Personality); from Self into selves, that circumnavigate through the experiences of self-awareness back to Self. In other words, from Tiphareth to Malkuth and back up the Tree to Tiphareth again.
The Hebrew letter Ayin means -Eye and is a simple letter that also means -Mirth. This double meaning  may invite confusion; However, rest assured, that this Path of Ayin is one of the most difficult for western people to understand, for interpretation flies in the face of Christian cultural definitions that have been applied to the Devil.
In Barbra G. Walker's Book [ THE WOMAN'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MYTHS AND SECRETS] which has been honored by the London Times Educational supplement as 1986 "Book of the Year", the provenance of the word devil is noted as Persian. She states." The Words "devil" and "divinity" grew from the same root, Indo-European devi (Goddess) or deva (God), which became daeva (devil) in Persian. Old English divell (devil) can be traced to the Roman derivative divus, divi: gods. Thus it seems that, from the beginning, gods and devils were often confused with one another."   She goes on to explain such enlightening scholarship that I highly recommenced this book to anyone who seeks an honest education.

There is another fact here that may hide from reason, and that is the combination of the words Devi (Goddess)and Lingam ( Male phallus), is Divya Linga ( Sanskrit word for Divine- lingam)  and has also been interpreted by propagandists of Christian past, as the word Devil. The Greek word Christos, actually bespeaks of the "Son of God" as the Solar Phallus. Much to study here as most of our "knowledge" is propaganda based misconstructions! But then superstition and religions are all based on the Arriving and Ascension of  "Those who from the sky came" (Sumerian-Annuaki or the Dogon- Nommos/Nephilim), and the DNA experiments that created the modern Human as the "angels of god mated with the women of men".

To the Qabalist, the Devil is not viewed as an evil entity (lived spelled backward) having its own god-like existence, rather the devil represents a special mystery (Arcana) that must be experienced and understood before we can hope to directly know the Higher Self. The Devil is the intelligence that is Master of Manifest form, which we meet on the Path of Ayin, and must face and conquer it's temptations. The Path of Ayin, takes the traveler into an understanding that we are entering  a transition between the intellect of consciousness (individual conscious) and true spiritual conscious.

Three Paths lead directly into Tiphareth: THE DEVIL {key 15), ART (key 14 called Temperance in Golden Dawn Deck), and DEATH (key 13). Now each of these paths  represents a special trial for the initiate; However, each student is not required to travel all three Paths. One way to experience Path Travel is  the Devotional Path of the Middle Pillar, where one need only experience the Path of Samekh (meaning- Prop) or the Art Card-key 14 (Temperance in other decks), leading from Yesod (Foundation ) to Tiphareth (Beauty). This is more of a gentle path of the Mystics  and demands less mental and emotional will from the Student.

The Magi's way of following each and every Path, means the acquisition of control over Forces which each Path symbolizes: every Path confers a unique power ("magical abilities") as purported in the descriptions of The Shadow Tarot Cards of Linda Falorio.
A Magus is an active Force of Creation, rather than a Passive one. The difference here, is that the Traveler of the Middle Path does learn to balance and understand within the Self, the forces of  the twenty-two Paths, but understanding these conceptual states of conscious energy does not necessarily develop the ability to manipulate them, which is an art necessary in the development of  a "discerning creative Personality"; the Spiritual purpose for the human body!.

Now I know, that some students of the Occult (hidden mysteries) enter into the studies seeking a type of "Raw Power", hoping to control others and circumstances just to avoid pain and "doing unto others before they can do unto them". Such misinformed students soon learn that if such Power is acquired and then misused there is a devastating price to pay. So there is no question that for the timid, the Middle Path is much safer than facing and conquering the temptations of the Magical Path.

THE DEVIL represents Raw Power (Mars), it is the Force that brings about the transmutation of THE TOWER (key 16) and is in the sign of Capricorn (also shown as the Goat on the card), which is where Mars is exalted.  Capricorn, is a weighty, even blind sign of Earth and symbolizes the highest and lowest states of individual  personality. Yet it is considered a sign of initiation, or release from matter formed limitations. These material limitations are suggested by the astrological ruler-ship of Capricorn by Saturn, the Planet of Binah, The Great Mother that governs the limitations of form, as does Saturn.

These limitations are of both the enclosure of matter or of time, the artificial system by which we meter and enclose all activities. Thus, THE DEVIL also represents the average person's misconception of "reality"; a perceptive belief  that the material-sensual condition is "Real". The Qabalist knows the physical-material world as the "1%" world, and realizes that the other invisible  "99%"  (often called "the other side of the Mirror") is the Real.
The misconception of reality is symbolized in two ways on THE DEVIL  card:
  1. The smirking mouth and;
  2.  the Goat, that represents the humorous figure of the childhood nemesis the "Bogey Man".
This Card emphasizes the knowledge that our belief in the illusion of matter (Matter is only .4% visible as our bodies are 99.6% space!) is actually laughable while also implying that laughter and a humorous approach to our lives is a tool which will help our consciousness to transcend the illusion of "seeing it to believe it".

Mirth, therefore, is seen as the first great corrective and helps us not to take our perceptions of the material world seriously, which only means "fearfully".

It pays to noted that the Survival Mind of the animal, is our Devilish tempter that tricks us into believing we are as Moons who are at the mercy of Forces rather than the Magus (The Sun) who manipulates them.
As stated in THE DEVIL part one, this card is called the Path of Ayin (eye) on the Tree of Life and connects Hod (Splendor) with Tiphareth (Beauty).  It is to be noted, that the Sephiroth (Circles) are objective intelligent STATES OF ENERGY, while the Paths are subjective states of intelligent energy.
One primary statement of the Path of Ayin (meaning-Eye) is that the ignorant, superstitious person, sees the world in an "upside down" vision. Thus the upside down pentagram is associated with the Devil. The Qabalist knows that "all things were from One by the meditation of One," [from the Emerald Tablet] stating the obvious, that there is nothing in the Universe that isn't of God, including the bogey of the ignorant, the Devil.
As stated, the Christian concept of the Devil is from the Hindu word Devi meaning goddess, and is a rather obvious attempt at the misogynistic propaganda of the Patriarch (military war based gods) religions.

If one has any education at all, one knows that the womb is the place of Form, not the male semen, which is -a pollen, if you will, and is but a elixir. And without the womb, semen will never become form.

The Qabalah is all about states of energy known as "Force and Form", what is masculine is considered Force (electric) and what is feminine is considered Form (Magnetic) which is much more viable with today's biological knowledge.

The intelligent state of energy known as Devil has also been called the "Prince of the Powers of Air", implying that this energy state is meditating in the flow of the Astral currents. In this context, Air is understood to be the whole of Yetsirah, the Astral Plane, which controls the ebb and flow of matter.

The ability to reverse the ebb and flow of Astral light, requires meditation, intellect and discipline, all of which are achieved by conquering the Path of Ayin or the Shadow Qlipha A'Anonin of the Shadow Tarot.
One must begin this process of discipline with the intellect of Hod, traversing into the intuition of Tiphareth; the Christ or Buddha state of intelligent energy. Even the scriptures talk of Christ's  passage through the temptations of the Devil, i.e. his own illusions brought on by matter.

You may recall that THE DEVIL is Saturn in Capricorn, which brings up an interesting point. The Ancient Romans stated that "Saturn eats its own children", meaning that for Spirit ( I AM), illusion of form (Me) is necessary to produce the material form, and that the dissolution of these forms (Me) is essential to the Path of Return.  The Roman belief was made famous as the Rubens painting of Saturn consuming a child. Depicting "Grandfather Time" (Saturn) as a kind of "bogey man" as well.

To the Alchemist dissolution means analysis, which is the precise application of separating the component forces of ourselves and our universe into twenty-two paths on the Tree of Life. The next part of the process is reintegrating these forces through the understanding of their operation.

Eliphas Levi called THE DEVIL--The Path of Ayin---the"Great Magical Agent" this process of manipulation as,to dissolve, to consolidate, to quicken, to moderate.,i.e. dissolution, re-integration, activity, and grounding.  Thus we have the same qualities as described to Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
Once again we understand The Devil to represent the "score of the forms and appearance of relative existence.", a description supplied  in various Mystery Tests.

Another ancient description is that the Devil is "Lord of the Gates of Matter and Child of the Forces of Time," which indicates a phallic energy state, Lord being husbandry, as the gateway to form is Yoni or Womb. Thus you will observe the stylized phallus and testes on the Thoth Deck Tarot Card, that is both the back drop and support of the Goat figure that represents the old god Pan. The testes are also seen as supporting human shaped white figures.
As one can see, there is represented an understanding of the intercourse of Forces and Form, attributes to the understanding that "God is sex". In truth, The Creator, who is One that is Two, knew that It needed a mirror to see itself; the material world is that which reflects from the mirror of consciousness. The I AM can only be aware of Itself, as a Me.

What the understanding of The Devil card produces in us , is the knowledge that the illusion of Form, is the same as the illusion of mirror reflections, its all reflected backwards and is not a true state of Being. Turn your mind around, and know that you are a Spirit who owns a body (which is a power tool for discernment), and not a body that is seeking Spirit. The analogy that I like to use when describing this common perspective of seeking spirit, is that of a "fish in the ocean, seeking water". Not only is this a accurate description for a body seeking spirit, it is also a mirthful one that describe the illusion of form, as the fish-form can be stated as "The Ocean experiencing itself".
The Shadow Tarot Path 26,  A'Anonin depicts a stylized Scarlet Woman at the Gate of the Tunnel of A'Anonin.  For indeed the Shadow of the Masculine devil is a Feminine Devi. In this depiction, the Great Babylon, another name for the Scarlett Woman is shown as the Red eclipsed moon, with the radiant Sun behind her. Using her evil eye to allure, exuding powerful pheromones stimulating and regulating the most basic levels of instinctual behavior. Basically, the Scarlett Woman is seen as the lust-filled allure of Nature.  As Linda Falorio writes:
"The worship of Nature in all her forms, in joyful celebration, in animal innocence, and lustful dance of spirit clothed with form, lies the ability to materialize desires."
Emotions heighten, and intense stimulation of the senses via the rhinencephalon (A combination of the lymphatic system,as shown in the illustration of the brain), satyrs and nymphs cavort in the phallic bliss engendered to which she gives the Ancient sign of blessing.

The inverted pentagram, a curious sign of the devil, is also shown, as it depicts the 4 elements and the five element of Spirit. This symbol also represents Saturn, Grandfather time who rules the heavy, slow, and inexorable rhythms of matter.

Therefore, the abilities gained by traveling through the Tunnel path of A'Anonin are:
  1. The wisdom of the body and taking joy in the phases of the cycles affecting human life.
  2. Power to heal by the ability to draw healing energy and physical vitality from contact with the earth.
  3. The ability to "ground" potentially disruptive forces.
  4. Contact with all manner of fairies, Dryads, Gnomes, sylphs, undines and devas of the kingdom of Earth and learning their power spots allowing communication with all forms of life.

When the Thoth Devil card or The Shadow Tarot-A'Anonin card is thrown during a reading of tarot, the querent is experiencing;
  • States of materiality, and/or material force.
  • Temptation of the flesh, sometimes obsession,  all associate with the "Trickster" god images of the past which is the principle of mirth.
  •  The querent may experience humor over their material circumstances, or over what "bedevils" them.
  • The advice is to view your emotions humorously, which will free you from the illusion of their seriousness.
  • There is a warning here, that even the best of intentions, maybe wrong. Accept the presence of paradox and realize your own truth.
  •  It reminds us to stop struggling for truth amid  seeming contradictions. We must accept the presence of paradox and realize our own truth. Celebrate life, laugh. play, and dance upon the Earth---Why else create a sensual body ?

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Key 16- The Tower:
The universal principle of renovation and restoration.

This card is often misunderstood and seen as a doom and gloom Armageddon end of an Aeon symbol. It's more about your own man-made personality, which is static and has crystallized thought to the point where you repeat the same thoughts and expect different results. There is insanity in such a process. The tower is a hallmark image of the Tower of Babel brought down by God the Destroyer (Shiva).

In less archaic language, the Tower represents the personality "de-constructed" and reconstructed by enlighten thought.

The fire breathing dragon at the base, in a mundane explanation, is the Spiritual and/or Life force that transforms life constantly in order to keep evolving the living.

The four figures falling out of the tower symbolize the crystallized thought of the "wanna-be", i.e. yesterdays' culturally-thought formed people who seek only comfort and fear change. These are thoughts that hold us back from our impeccable performance in life motion as evolutionary Life is all about performance rather than conformance. Essential Self is progressive thought; not enslaved thought.

The open eye at the top represents the Eye of Horus, the Egyptian god of perception; the perceptive state of awakening and seeing the deeper/inner authentic self that is not human defined but is God made.
Awakening people, in order to become "enlightened", are required to come into alignment with the Greater Self, which is often symbolized by the Oriental fire breathing dragon. We are Dragons! ( the union of Angel, animal and daemon---i.e. "those who are not bound by laws but expand and liberate laws from states of stasis by transubstantiation).

The haloed serpent, reminds us that by shedding old ways of thinking we become expanded and liberated and is also the Divine Kundalini symbol. Expanded consciousness requires expanded definitions of self.

The dove represents the inner peace that we have when we become the authentic Divine Creative self image
which comes from shedding the outer definition of man-made being.

The Qabalistic Thoth Tower Card-Key 16, is the Path of Peh, meaning Mouth. Paul Foster Case calls the 27th Path of Peh," The Exciting Intelligence", as vibrations excite matter and the Mouth sends forth vibrations as sound or words.
Hod, Sephira 8 ( Splendor), the center of the reasoning process is connected to the center of the intuition-desire nature, Netzach Sephira 7 (Victory) by the Path of Peh-THE TOWER.  Therefore the flow of this Path of the Personality brings into balance what is out of balance and is related to Mars, the Roman god of War and the North.
Traditionally the North was the quarter seen as the "greatest place of darkness", for when the Mysteries where initiated, the North side of King Solomon's temple was the darkest side, and is presented as a tower image in The Shadow Tarot-27- Parfaxitas.

But all is not doom and gloom here, as any initiate in the Mysteries knows, it is from the darkest night (therefore the Shadow Tarot) that comes Light and that "enlightenment has its origin in the hidden sources of power which terrify the minds of the ignorant".

To us moderns who are familiar with Quantum Physics Theory, it is said that from the Dark Energy and Dark Matter are the birth places of Light energy.

Peh, the Hebrew word, is called a double letter, for it not only means -Mouth but also-Grace-Indignation, a union of opposites.  Double letters, are considered "gateways of the Soul", that have two possible directions of passage. It is also a fact that the mouth has two passages as well. One passage takes in nourishment into the organic system and another expresses speech.  Thus, we can we the similarity between the two actions of the Path of Peh. for it not only is a devastating Path of the Higher Vibrations that burn away the dross of our Personalities, it is also the entrance that nourishes the consciousness with the Spiritual knowledge,( enlightenment) from the Real Person.

Many of us are familiar with chanting and the effects of the  power of  vitiation on the physical body. Many Mysteries rituals rely on the use of "god names" or "Words of Power" to effect the destruction of "negative energies", in body and environment (Relative to speech, we know that the Logos, is also called the Word).  These "negative energies" that The Tower card represents  the destruction of, are our own personal towers of false concepts and institutions that are commonly believed to be reality. By tearing down, room is made for something new.
Now I know that Mars is the symbol of the war god of destruction but few remember that Mars is also attributed with the power of  crop fertility, much like the Native American god of fertility-Kokopelli (seen playing flute).
Again the process of destruction to build anew is seen here as the peace and calm of the soil is distributed in order to plant healthy crops.  This really is the core of the message of The Tower-Key 16.

In the Thoth Deck version of THE TOWER we see stylized lightning or energy strikes knocking off the geometric shapes of  human forms which symbolize the man-made personalities that see reality as a  world of straight lines; straight lines as in 'black and White" or "good and bad". The Man-Made personality, sees a reality foreign to Nature and the Universe. Nature and the Universe aren't linear but rather circular and/or spiral in nature. Therefore the Tower symbolizes the construct that most people call "I" or Self, were perspectives of the Personality are being shattered by the influx of the Fiery  High Self- Knowledge in order to make space in personal   consciousness for higher Knowledge. The toppling Tower also represents the destruction of  man made institutions, government, religions, or any accepted values.

Yet this striking down, is not to be construed as the destruction of evil, rather it is a process of change, as "stepping stones" of perspective are built that contributes to the continual building up and striking down of concepts that lead into the Inner Realms of Higher Self; kind of like the building up and striking down of miles as one travels. Another way to understand THE TOWER'S  process, is that upon first approach to these 'Higher Planes" of reality, many people anthropomorphize the States of Conscious Energy, as Archangels or "Spiritual Beings", as that is how they "realize" them; However, these Creative Forces are formless, so in order to incorporate these forces into our own anthropomorphized "reality", we must destroy the previous false concepts of these angelic beings and know them as states of  I Am Me and/or SELF. This is a necessary process of progressive and expanding Self-Awareness as we journey on the "Above all things, know thyself" Paths of the Tree of Life. In our world of time/space, just to travel in the present, we must destroy the perspectives of our past!
The Higher Self, is our True Ego which is not ours alone, but that of the Divine Collective Unconscious, so the Tower's solitary destruction also represents the eradication of the false ego made by the survival consciousness of the animal body.

The lightning flashes are representative of sudden inspiration, or flashes of perception, that occur when we realize our Real Identities. This inner conflict is  why A.Crowley subtitled THE TOWER as WAR. But this is not a new perspective on the inner conflict of survival persona and the Higher Self, as
throughout esoteric literature are depicted these moments of "inner-war". For instance, in the Bhagavad Gita, there is described symbolic battle of self perspectives, and/or component parts of Self: The Higher Genius is portrayed as Krishna ( White-Solar Logos), guiding Arjuna (lower  dark-personality) onto his inner, and personal field of conflict.
In Western literature, we have Christ, going through his days in the desert, solitary and alone, while being continually tempted by the lower personality of  Satan, which relates to the survival based ego trying to usurp the Rule of the True Ego.

But let us not forget that to look at this card, The Tower-key 16, is to look at war. When the eye of Shiva , the Destroyer opens, the universe disappears, as does the dream of the awakened dreamer. Occult (hidden) knowledge states that all is but God Dreaming----when It awakes, the dream is over. In Hindu belief, this dreaming and awake cycle has happened three times before and now is the 4 manifestation of the Dream.
It really is not too difficult to understand that an unlimited conscious energy, when realizing itself, is creating limited concepts of itself, i.e. dreaming. As in the human brain, dreaming is often solving problems, which can be then enacted in the awake state of consciousness and/or creation. This assimilation of and reordering of data is an annihilation of the dream, called awakening.

The Tower is attributed to the Hebrew letter-Peh, meaning mouth (shown as the flame belching Mouth of Dis- the Roman God of the dead on the bottom of the card). We have often heard that a God Name spoken with Martian power, can be felt in the body and has a define effect on the human physical vehicle as well as an effect on the vehicles of psyche. The Tower suggests that words of Power, spoken with Passion (Mars force), assist us in bringing about the destruction of our personal Towers of Babel, false concepts and institutions which we believe to be reality. The vibration of OM Mani Padmae Hum, is an example of a Yoga word of power. For that is what words are; vibrations.
Reality is  constructed as a dream of our self- consciousness, using the dedicated energy of our Life Frequencies or vibrations; many of us know these vibrations as Emotions.  Thoughts are vessels, and emotion, is the dedicated energy of "Will-To-Be", that gives the thought a vibrational frequency we call "reality". You may have noticed, that everybody's reality is  a "personal" belief system. These Realities, are the Dreams, the Real (Spirit), is on the other side of that Dream, i.e. the other side of the Mirror of Self Reflection.

All of this self-reflecting is very entertaining to the mind; however when too much of our life force is dedicated to supporting our fantasies, we become less "Real" and The Soul, steps in with the severity necessary to topple our Towering fantasies. This "Tower Moment" doesn't kill us, as that is not the purpose (although it can be a "near death" experience). Rather the purpose of this severe measure is for the action of remembering our Real Identity, which is the Divine Child of God, rather than a towering man made personal edifice of denial, mental enslavement, and pursuit of happiness. (To seek or pursue, is to deny you are or have it). To pursue happiness is to deny you are happy being you. If you are not happily being you----its because you aren't being you----you are pursuing you instead! This constant pursuit of identity works for the vision of consumerism, but not for your mental, emotional, and physical health.
I Am, is how you command your reality into being.  I AM Me, is how you exist as the idea! Me is and always will be a construct from the I Am. In Qabalah "I" is He  the idea and "Am" is She--the womb of understanding and the "Me" is the child born of understood idea.

Because of constant interference some of our "Me's" become towering error of dysfunctional identity, babel, and since your functionality is in the "expansion and liberation of the Alive" ( As above, so Below), your self-awareness must support the living; if not, a "hidden (occult) source of power" will step in and topple your tower of Babbling Me. This is not for reasons of your permanent annihilation, but for the purpose of reconstructing definition by purifying the dysfunctional dedicated energy, that is no longer moving in progressive states of evolution.
Somewhere, probably from Theology, we got the idea that spiritual development (bringing the Above mind to the Below mind) is all sweetness and light; this is false!  Enlightenment is a process of creation, destruction and recreation. A phoenix rising from its own ashes may set a romantic picture to some, however, ashes require a burning...sometimes a fierce fire of destruction!
That is why on the Qabalistic Tree of Life you will see Severity (Geburah #5) and Mercy (Chesed-#4) connected by the Path of Teth (Strength),because Tempering of a soft-unrefined- mind requires, hot fires of Passion, and hard  hammering of Knowledge (experience), and enough mercy not to destroy the creation, in order to forge the Proper strength in a Divine Creative-God- Personality. Therefore, tempering to forge ahead through the new territory of Self Awareness requires heated passion and the cooling  waters of mercy! In other words, empathy comes from experiencing and recognizing error as pain; empathy is something experiencing life as a "limited sensual form" can only give you.

Remember, As a dreaming Spirit, any fantasy will do, but Life is ordered  by cause and effect. Creation is the effect of ideas generated by the God-mind, i.e. Imagination and Spirit is Pure Will that has no empathy, just like a Sociopath Scientist who experiences no empathy for his/her test subjects. Spiritual/willful creativity must be linked to Sensual being, in order to know what thoughts enhance the Living and what thoughts don't. Love is created by this Union Of Invisible and sensual identity! Love is only fully understood by sensually experiencing what is "not love" and what enhances the Life of Being!

Therefore this  world is not about the Visions of the Ambitious, often touted as being for "the Greater Good" (Greater God) but rather the expansion and liberation of idea as The Living Presence. (I AM ME...is the Universal Mind's Vision.). In the Living World, visions are to support  the living  individuals and human sacrifice to ideas, is no longer functional. Therefore, sacrificing the alive for your visions, is dysfunctional. Ideas, visions, are now to "enlighten" personal-life by raising it up out of the ashes of dysfunctional thought/definition. In our world, we often find that War is how we "rise up" out of dysfunctional leadership. Thus, you will see, that the Path of Peh, is connecting Hod (Splendor) and Netzach (Victory). For example, it was the allowing the vision of Splendor that masked the bigotry of  Aryan purity, a peacocks vision of self importance, that had to be destroyed by the individuals who together threw down the Towering Nazi horror in the second world war. Death and Destruction was deemed a necessary severity for the victorious abolishment of that false vision of bigotry. For only after a battle, strife, and severity, are we to be Victors. Therefore there is yet another message of the Tower card; personal courage is required to become enlightened.

When the Towers of Falsehood, topple after all your hard work to make them stand, you must first identity the error, correct it and then you must gather the rubble and rebuild. This is Experience, and this is how Knowledge is built. Knowledge is built out of the rubble of failure. The Mercy of God allows you to survive personality destruction, so that you can see error and correct it...personally. We are Spirits----personalities are the Towers we build!
The Shadow Tarot- Path 27, Parfaxitas depicts the breaking of the bonds of consensus reality. The connecting of psyche and Soma [
  • n.noun

    1. The entire body of an organism, exclusive of the germ cells.
    2. The body of an individual as contrasted with the mind or psyche.], thereby  daring to channel heightened sexual/aggressive martial energy in the service of will.

The shadow side of the Thoth is easily seen as part of The Thoth Tarot Path of Peh, so this card, Parfaxitas, is another path of Peh and all definitions of the Thoth Tower card apply.
The interesting illustration below, shows the elongated head of the alien LAM[Aleister Crowley channeled this entity] as a golden head overlooking the tunnel of Parfaxitas.
. LAM is a Tibetan word meaning- Path or gateway. Crowley drew his portrait----which remarkably looks to be that of an entity of Ufology
fame that is called a "gray"], and Crowley contacted this being and called it the Guardian or archetype of
human kind's higher self of which mankind shall evolve into.
Thus Linda has filled the card with abstract atavisms of future selves.
The Goddess as night black Saturn, adorned with images of cats howling and owls, all symbols of death.  Therefore we have yet another tunnel of Love/Death, (Eros/Thanatos) decorated with a rendition of a Aztec altar adorned with skulls of alien beings, "not unlike ourselves". All of this, rich in symbol, just suggests the destruction of old ego, to build anew ego and bringing on the Horus or the "22 century human consciousness".

The abilities purportedly received from successful entry and return from the Tunnel of Parfaxitas are:
  1. To channel Heightened Mars Sexual potency under the control of Will.
  2. To connect the psyche and soma for willed expansion of consciousness and break the bonds of consensus reality.
  3. Ability to communicate with far-future Selves to advancing our evolution.

When the Thoth Tower or The Shadow Tarot card-Parfaxitas is thrown it usually means:
  • That the querent will be experiencing an ego- personal process of eliminating all that is artificial, false-to-fact, and no longer useful to them; usually in a 16 week or month process.
  • Healing, and restoration comes from this process. This is much like a doctors  axiom of ,"This is gonna hurt a bit, but it will feel better soon".
  • Ambition, fighting, War.
  • Outrage at one's condition.
  • Sometimes ruin, destruction  and end of a "thing", depending on the accompanying cards.
  • The necessary toppling of egoistic definitions, so that the real Spirit can manifest through the body.

The Shadow Series Tarot Card Comparisons: The Thoth Key 17-The Star & The Shadow Tarot- Path 28-Tzuflifu

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Key 17-The Star, is the Qabalistic 28th Path on the Tree of Life.
The Star card represents the Universal Principle of  Self-Esteem and Confidence.

In many religions the Star is a guiding light, the Star of Bethlehem and the Star of David are good examples.

In Astrology the Star card is Aquarius, the water- bearer. This card represents Self-Trust; the multiple crystals intimates that with self trust we see things more clearly.

The two seven pointed stars spinning their way towards earth represent the radiating confidence of the Spiritual light that actualizes ideas through our very natures;
reminding us that we are an opening in time/space through which the Absolute can manifest. Self Confidence gives us the freedom to be spontaneous in our self- expression. When we have the courage to be ourselves, like running water, we are dynamic and life changing.
If you have seen the human aura, you would know that each of us is an individual star of dynamic and passive creative- energy- conscious peering into the realms of planets! As in all things, powerful content needs strong containers, and as Chalices of Spirit the human body is only as strong as the energetic identity it contains! Self-trust, allows us to flow from above and flow out to the below (earth) as a dynamic creative force.

The Qabalistic Thoth Tarot Key 17- THE STAR, is the Path of Tzaddi that connects the Sephiroth Netzach (Victory) to the Sephiroth Yesod (The Foundation). This is the path called the Natural Intelligence, by Paul Foster Case in his instructional text, Thirty Two Paths to Wisdom; natural intelligence because it is the Path of proper approach to the Divine Energy inherent in each person.
It is the Natural Intelligence, as it represents the proper use of Imagination, which is Divine Intelligence used in "image making". Many of us call it the Creator.

The meaning of the Hebrew word, Tzaddi, is Fish hook, implying meditation, a process inseparable from the proper use of imagination. Once we are hooked on an idea, we focus energy (emotion), and with proper software running our brain, the body gets it done. The physical vehicle, is a power-tool of Imagination and as we all know, with computer run power tools, garbage programing in means, garbage production- out.

All this may be too much for the culturally programed personality to absorb, but the fact is, you were imagined into being by what we now call the Universal Collective Unconscious, or Universal Unconsciousness.  So for the sake of simplicity, I'll call it the Divine Intelligence.
In the terms of Tzaddi, fish hook, the implication is that there is a merging of two streams of conscious energy, for something is put-in rather than taken out. Here the individual consciousness is attached to the Greater Conscious.
In the Tarot/Qabalah, Water is the symbol used for consciousness, making the analogy of the fish hook being put in, pertinent as well.
It helps to understand that we are not a brain, nor any kind of separate physical device. We are both the Transmitter and the Transmitted. Just as a Radio Transmitter (in our case-Spirit)  transmits frequency "every where but nowhere" at the same time and would be unheard without a radio receiver, so would the frequencies of  Spiral Energy (Spirit) be unheard with out a physical vehicle tuned to that infinite frequency. In this scenario,  Spirit is the Collective Unconscious, and the individual frequencies would be Soul Stations while the human vessel would be the receiving crystalline-radio controlled- robotic -power tool. (see diagram of simple crystal radio)

In quantum physics, an entity is a point in time which to a timeless energy frequency, is extremely necessary for self awareness. Points in time are necessary for a discriminating creator, for how do you know what you do and what you affect, when you have no way of examining the action you are transmitting? To gather Knowledge, the mind needs an intellectual gathering place, a point in time.

The material that the Divine Consciousness deals in is "Thought", something we know exists but are unable to explain its source. It is our "first matter", and in Qabalah , the first matter-thought is often symbolized as a fish. This concept allows me to take the next quantum leap in examination.

Theoretically if we describe the Ocean, as the womb of earth life, ( Imagination is the Womb of idea) we can see that to the Ocean, it is everywhere and nowhere at the same time, for it has no sense of self. However, the fish is made of Ocean and its elements and must exist in the Ocean as a "part of Oceanic imagination"; a self-image, if you will, of the Ocean itself.  And as Spirit , the I AM ocean must ,  flow through the crystallized self -image (Me) that it has imagined into existence. This gives the Spirit/Consciousness the ability to do work on Earth. Now I know this is simplistic as an explanation can get, but it should help you in understanding why you have a physical vehicle, and why it is most sacred to Spirit!
The I AM (Imagination) denotes existence, the Me establishes existence as a sensual point in time, i.e. a living place.

The 28th Path of the Natural Intelligence is the Path of the raw forces attributed to Netzach (Victory). To a Qabalist these natural forces are called the Elohim (Gods of Netzach) and are synonymous with nature itself.  Moreover, the number of The Star, is 17 and when added together (1+7=8) seventeen becomes 8 which is key 8-Lust, which represents conscious control over the Kundalini (Lion-Serpent) whose description is both solar (lion is the symbol of the Sun) and sexual (serpentine force). As I have stated before, the Kundalini is coiled in Yesod, which is the Foundation of earth manifestation.
To many, sex-energy or Kundalini, is a word of sin filled lust and emotional turmoil:
However, the initiate knows as we encounter the sexual energy in ourselves, we are approaching the Greater Mysteries of Tiphareth, The Solar Logos, who is the central star of our existence. Of course,"if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen"  Thus, the Path of Tzaddi-The Star is  important to the neophyte as it is a very powerful Path which points out the proper way to approach the Kundalini; The Divine Serpent or Spiral Energy inherent in all of us.
This process of approach is a kind of yoga (communion) involving the "opening of Chakras" and/or the enervation of energy centers through the process of  sexual-meditation. But fear not oh panicked celibate, Kundalini is also the energy we use in the individual meditation process (somewhat less potent), being both the goal and means of enlightenment.

The Tarot key 17, Star denotes the method or means of perfection. In the Thirty Two Paths of Wisdom, the Magus Paul Foster Case stated that: The twenty eight path [Path of Tzaddi] is called the Natural Intelligence, and it is so called because through it is consummated  and perfected the Nature of every existing thing under the Sun." (the brackets are my own insertion).
Qabalists know the Star Card represents the proper use of imagination, through the energy of meditation.
Even though meditation feels like a personal activity, successful meditation shows us that it is not we that are meditating but rather, we are meditated! Truth be known, The Higher Self brings the Personality into meditation. In the context of meditation, the Personality uses the Path of Tzaddi, The Fish Hook, in searching for reality in the context of meditation. However, meditation is also The Higher Self angling to pull the Personality up from the depths of self-enclosure which is a reality imposed on us by the physical senses.
The female figure on the Star Card , represents the most pure manifestation of the Great Mother Binah at the level of Personality, preceding enclosure in matter.  She is the Same  figure found in The Empress, in her royal regalia; The High Priestess and in The Universe cards; However, here She is unveiled, un-robed,  further representing Her purity.
The Star is associated with the love and inspiration sign of  Aquarius. In the ancient world, Saturn was said to govern Aquarius, referring us to Binah and The Universe key21.

Because the Star card represents the universe resolved into its ultimate elements, it relates to many more Paths than any other card in the deck. Thus, I recommend getting the text book by Robert Wang---The Qabalistic Tarot ( A text book of Mystical Philosophy) and studying the many path Charts on the Tree of Life , that he presents in the book.

To the Magi, the Star card represents the "Lower Eden", from which the Personality originates and the Emperor, represents "Upper Eden" where the Fiery Higher Self originates, i.e.The Solar Logos. Here to, we see a relationship of The Star Path (Tzaddi) relating to another Path, that of the Emperor (Heh). The Star card also relates to the Planet Venus, which to the ancients was seen as the "Morning and Evening Star", also referred to as Lucifer, the Most beautiful of all Arch-Angels, referring to the Sephiroth Tiphareth-Beauty, which is the Solar Logos.   Therefore Lucifer is not seen as a underworld figure, but rather the Higher Self of Nature. But with proper enforcement of propaganda, the meaning of Beauty (Synchronicity) became a Underworld Angel who was so narcissistic that he challenged God, or such is the common Christian view. We all must study history to see how the Christians took the names of gods and goddesses of other religions and demonized them, which only contributed to ignorance and lost self-awareness. The truth is that the Latin word Lucifer is similar to the Greek Christos  (Sun, also Zeus Christos or Sun of God) ----both relating to the fiery Sun of God,The Solar Logos and/or our Higher Self.

The Shadow Tarot-Path 28-Tzuflifu has been called/subtitled The Emperor by the author Linda Falorio, thus she is acknowledging the connection of the Thoth Star key-17 with the Thoth Emperor Key 4 that is the path of Heh (meaning window) combining both meanings on her Shadow Path 28.
She States:" Passion and courage are demanded fearing neither men nor gods to establish life out-side traditional male-female roles in defiance of cultural prejudice."

Thus there is a feminist approach to this Tunnel of Tzuflifu, as it is about the destruction of the Aeon of the Patriarch. This Tunnel is purported to be the black hole behind the star Sirius. In past blogs, Sirius was named as the origin in the sky, of the Nephilim or creators of mankind.
Here she compares the Ancient Egyptian Cat-Goddess Bast, goddess of the desert and of sexual heat to the Tunnel of Tzuflifu.  Bast is or was known as an implacable goddess of ruthless feminine passion and here is shown as a future consciousness in the shape of an enraged hyena (Anubis), exalting the genitalia of Uranus. (shown here in an ancient Greek depiction)
The lunar crescent surmounted by a spiral disc  represents the power to dance between the worlds of matter and anti-matter. The dark serpent around the Waist of the Goddess image, signifies her power over the Phallus.
Which is a given to a Gnostic, since from the Womb of the Great Mother, came the Phallic Father. (illustrated is an artistic interpretation of Bast and Anubis)
Therefore, Tzuflifu, restores woman back to her rightful place as equal to any man. For in order to build a He, there had to be a She!

Also represented on this Shadow card, there is a tripod of the Oracle made of human skulls and leg bones, surrounded by the Kali yantra (Hindu destroyer Goddess Kali) as a symbol of the Ultimate feminine power over life and death.
The fiery bat like demons or furies she has illustrated on the card, represent revengeful spirits born of the blood of Uranus, punishing those who sinned against woman.  Which rings true, if you know that the Anglo-Saxon word  Lady, means "Doler of bread" and Lord, meant,"Guardian of bread." Husband, is an Anglo-Saxon word for "keeper of her property".  The Anglo-Saxons believed that woman owned property, and the man guarded it. This goes along with the Gnostic understanding, that Form is the property of the Divine Feminine, and Force is the property of the Divine Masculine.
The magic abilities gained from successful skrying of Tzuflifu or the Star Card are:
  1. The courage to fight against culturalized injustice.
  2. To connect with our inner passions and go after what we want.
  3. To contact the inner moral strength that enables us to establish life outside of traditional sexual roles.
  4. Fearing neither man's nor God's retaliation at such hubris.
  5. Liberates the male from  "John Wane-ism" reaffirming the feminine "within" giving him the strength to not to have to aggressively strive  or compete or to be the sexual aggressor.

When the Star Card-Key 17 or the Shadow Tarot-Path 28-Tzuflifu, is thrown during a reading the querent shall be or will be experiencing

  • Hope, faith and unexpected help for 17 weeks or 17 months.
  • Self esteem and confidence contributing to self-efficiency and talent.
  •  The querent, upon meditating, shall hear their own song (sound frequency), becoming harmony and then emoting  love, calm and peaceful agility.
  • This card can also mean that we have or are developing within the next 17 weeks or months, the courage to increase and maintain our own self-esteem. In so doing, our presence alone will assist others in developing their own.
  • This is spiritual regeneration, and hope in a vision of the future.
  • Follow your inner star!

If ill defined by the accompanying cards, there can be the experiencing of  dreaminess, and deceived hope. This is rare, so basically the querent is or will be, experiencing freedom from all masks, illusions and restrictions while being replenished by the pure waters of the Universal Unconscious.

Tarot Card Comparison, The Shadow Series: The Thoth-key 18- The Moon & The Shadow Tarot-Path 29-Qulielfi

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth-Key 18-THE MOON
The universal principle of Choice and Authenticity.

The Thoth Moon Card has been called the Karma Card ( work that needs to be done). Ultimately, we have a daily choice between supporting our authentic self or our dutiful man-made self.  There is the Real which is the Spiritual Being and then there is reality, the indoctrinated identity that we call our ego or personality.
In this card we see the gates that are guarded by the Ra kings of Egyptian sun god myth, who stabilize and protect our energy as we transform  from reality selves to our memory of Real Self.

We also see Anubis the Egyptian jackal headed god of Transformation who remind us that we must leave the old to experience anything new. If you know that everyone you see is another way of being you; you are using the Real sight of divine self-awareness. If you see everyone as enemy or friend, you suffer from reality blindness brought on by the survival/cultural mind of the animal that you should own; but now owns you.

The Moon is a card of illusion and reminds us that the illusion of the senses  are all psychosomatic, meaning that not everyone has the same sensual experience from same environments. In other words they are not repeated by everyone and therefore are not scientific proof.  In other words, reality rests in the "I" of the beholder.

It behooves one's mind to remember that the body is only 1% of us, and its purpose is to help us discriminate thought and idea, in order to carry on the Great Work of "As above, So below".
Therefore, Reality is defined as trans-formative, the Real is the One who Transforms but is not the transformation itself.

You may also see the Scarab beetle on the bottom of this card. This is the symbol of the Egyptian god Khepri, the god of transformations. In the Thoth Moon card illustration, the Scarab is rolling the Sun across the horizon, into the other-world in the evening and this world at the dawn. This depiction represents the renewal of life and the Real eternal existence which is invisible and thus called dark.

The Thoth Moon card also represents the water sign Pisces. The traditional two fish of Pisces are symbolized here as the Anubi gate guardians, and represent the Picean commitment to evolutionary transformation.

When this card is Skryed, the querent is reminded that they are functioning in the realm of the unconscious, where they become aware that reality is a dream, that time/space and physical bodies are merely conceptions, and therefore deep cellular change is possible.

To the Qabalist, the Thoth Moon Card is the Shamanic call to enter into the darkness of unconscious desires and fears, as shown by The Shadow Tarot-Path 29- Qulielfi, so that one may transform passions into functional motion rather than dysfunctional illusion.

The Qabalistic Thoth-Key 18- Moon, which is the 29th Path of the Tree of Life, is called the Path of Qoph, meaning, back of head or ear.
Connecting Netzach (Victory) with Malkuth (Kingdom), the Path of Qoph is described as the "Victory of the Material World" and/or the "deceptive  effect of the apparent power of the Material World".  This "back of the head" path, is also known as the "Threshold to life", a spiritual birth that may be considered on two levels. On one level, it is the course of incarnation where the soul organizes the physical body of which it will inhabit.  It is a kind of sleep (physical consciousness not yet formed), a kind of pre-consciousness, that differentiates into mater from the collective unconscious of Netzach.
On another level, where the student is advancing spiritual awareness up the Tree of Life, it is a path of  conquest of the phantoms of their "man-made" personality which are creations of the created.
The path of the Moon is a probationary path, where the student must face the emotional phantoms hid in the dark recesses of their own mind, as well as those of the race.
This path can be disturbing to those of weak moral fiber, and can pose real dangers to one's emotional stability.  On the other hand, as shown in The Shadow Tarot-Quliefli- those strong enough to tread this Path and slay the monsters "within" our sleep-consciousness and understand their mechanisms, gain the capacity to manipulate  those qualities in ourselves and those of others. Mastery of Illusion is a product of this path.

The meaning of the Hebrew word, Qoph, is the back of the head, behind the head itself, is the Sum-Resh.Therefore, the Moon also symbolizes the anterior to the bright intellect of the Sun.  The Moon, the Path of Qoph, only reflects the light of the Sun. Thus the central path of the card goes from the  dark side of the Moon, towards the light side that reflects direct Sun-light. This rising act of direct Sun-light is show as the Egyptian Scarab symbol  of the God Kephera (kheprera), pushing the Sun towards the Moon. Basically, the Moon -Key-18, symbolizes the rebirth of light out of hideous darkness; bright intellect overcoming the dark denizens of our sub-conscious, i.e. the illusions of emotional fears. Something that Linda Falorio abstractly depicted in her Shadow Tarot Card 29.
In Thoth Deck Tarot, THE HIGH PRIESTESS, is a source of pure, crystal clear waters (consciousness) emerging from the God Head-The Father, to God the Son.
The Same waters of consciousness are seen here on the Thoth- The Moon card, and The Shadow Tarot Card, but they are polluted with the dark subconscious fears of mortality, that physical manifestation bestows on consciousness. However, as I have stated before, the traveling up the Path of Qoph, towards the "Sun (Son) Consciousness" , notably changes the body physiology, as the Bright Beautiful Light Intellect of the Son (Tiphareth) descends into the flesh, which much like a crystal, begins glowing with internal heat.

When traveling up the Path of Qoph, the Personality becomes increasing aware of the Higher Self and less controlled by the dark fears of the body .
Paul Foster Case called The Moon, the "Corporeal Intelligence" which means the "body consciousness". Also in Hebrew the word "corporeal" means "to rain upon", which is why we see the symbols of Yods (spiritual fire) raining down from the central orb of the Thoth card.

Since this is a Watery Card, some of a more poetic bent, say that these Yod symbols are "tears of the Moon- Goddess" raining down and filling the Nile. What we all agree on is that something descends from the Moon to the Earth on the Path of Qoph, which is represented as raining Yods.

The path of Qoph is that of primitive instincts, of nature red in "both tooth and claw" which emerges uncontrolled by moral or ethical reasoning. The traveler of this Path will face aspects of themselves that our culture forces them to repress but are indeed integral and undeniable parts of our predatory human form.  This is the Survival Mind, where the "law of the jungle" resides in the dark pools of violence and conquest. This can be a very cruel path to endure, until the student is able to fear not these internal demons which removes the veils of darkness, allowing in  the Bright Intellect of the Son who applies beautiful reason to our consciousness.

The simple Hebrew letter of Qoph, also translates into the English word, sleep. Thus we have a conscious relationship with the Moon, The bright Sun reflecting side, our waking consciousness and the dark sunless side of the "sleeping" subconsciousness and/or the Shadow side. As the Moon has cycles, so does our consciousness, as during the cyclic phase of conscious withdrawal from the physical (Sleep) many of us still act upon the fantasies and information closely related to the bodies survival based experiences. Their dreaming is filled with phantoms produced by the bodies fear of pain and/or death which once consciously transcended, is the successful completion of the Path of The Moon.
The initiate, finds that birth, death, and resurrection are pivotal concepts on the Path of the Moon. These biological processes occur in the light and dark of our sensual perceptions.  The two figures of Anubis, the jackal -headed gate keepers, symbolize this cyclic process (Spiral energy) as the god Anubis was the Egyptian god of  light and darkness, death and resurrection. The "As above, so below" is shown as a pattern on this card also reinforces this meaning.

Therefore the Thoth Tarot Moon card, also symbolizes the process that consciousness goes through, when energy proceeds from order to disorder (2nd law of Thermodynamics) , from organized flesh to death.
To understand the Path of Qoph--The Moon, is to understand the partnership of our personality-consciousness to the physical vehicle, which the Soul Personality builds for each manifestation. Since most people perceive themselves as  having existence only through their bodies, this is often a most difficult  undertaking. However, knowing that you are the Sun/Spirit that reflects self-image on the Moon of material being, may aid you in realizing that reality is your Dream!

The Moon was often seen as a Goddess of Life (White Goddess of Light) and a Goddess of Death ( Dark Goddess) at once praised and then feared. It is the physical vehicles  fear of dying that hounds our consciousness in many subtle ways, producing phantoms who manifest as phobias, obsessions, and mental - emotional disorders. Our consciousness comes from the Self Reflection of the Dark Forces of the immortal Soul, and is unused to such thoughts of powerful passions, thus placing them in its most powerful passion, i.e. fear of death. Thank the Goddess that we recycle, our consciousness, which is a "reflection" of the Soul Conscious-Personality and can therefore clean out the malignancy of fear.

Bodies forget, that they are a recycled part of the Whole Organic Organism, that we know as "Organic matter". Like I have often said," You ,my body, came from cranberries and to cranberries you shall return..." which is a slightly dark humor, that I use to give the brain pause from its attempts at survival thinking.  We are not a physical brain. We are Spirit, who is supposed to program the brain with its own soft-ware, for the purpose of experiencing the discernment of being a "living thing".  With our Powerful Imagination, straight from the Divine Creative of Force and Form, thoughts can no longer be indiscriminate mental ramblings of an imagination. They now must support life, and expand and liberate the "living" from fear of death- based thoughts or they will annihilate all life in an orgasmic celebration of self destruction!
We the "Spiral Entities", Immortals from the Dark Universe B, are here to redesign the "survival mind" of the animal body. We are the Dark fiery Sun's of Living Creative Conscious Energy, who must reflect upon a world of Matter,  which for generations was symbolized by the Moon. For as we all know, this is the realm of "Reflected light" which is less than one percent of the total electromagnetic spectrum, which is the medium of our " personality-consciousness". One could say, that on the Path of the Moon, the Souls learns to run the physical vehicle by expanding the brain's perspectives beyond that of  life and death, into the knowledge of personality-resurrection.

The Shadow Tarot-Path 29- Qulielfi, depicts a place in the psyche that is in the twilight borderline between waking and sleeping consciousness.
Abstractly, she illustrates
the lower astrals, where elemental lurkers, or phantoms await at the threshold of personal subconscious. All the dreams of dark blood, and death, locked into the ever evolving collective subconscious of Earth life as it eats itself to stay alive. There resides here, both seductive and/or terrifying phantasms, according to the temperament of the dreamer.

A sigil, that is traced on the limestone of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, represents the full moon on the Shadow card, depicting slugs, that thrive in the dark moist night, but dry up and die in the bright sun; the dead only to be eaten by their fellow slugs at night. This represents the fact that "life eats itself to stay alive."
The twin towers of the Thoth (day-side) Tarot, have become the spread legs of the Dark Goddess, that have grown  into twisted mangrove trunks guarding the Gates of the Abyss (The Great Womb).
The Coral snake, known for its deadly bite, awaits between the legs of the Goddess Nu, providing the "kiss of Nu", a practice of ritual suicide best known as the bit of the Asp used by Cleopatra to end her life. Again, representing the personality-death necessary to travel through the Abyss.

Successful skrying of both the Thoth Moon or The Shadow Tarot -Qulielfi card, bestows powers of a manifesting imagination, where one can lucidly travel the astral realms, cast spells and bewitchment.  About spells and bewitchment, one must beware, for there in lies the "kiss of Nu". Casting spells for health, welfare, and wealth are safe. Casting bewitchments to enable others to see past their own nightmares, is clever and safe but to cast love spells etc. has dire consequences. Clairvoyance, prophetic dreams, and artistic vision are also gifts of the enhanced imagination.

When the Thoth Moon or The Shadow Tarot-Qulielfi card is thrown during a reading the querent is experiencing:
  • Dissatisfaction and voluntary change is on the horizon.
  • The querent is experiencing choice and authenticity over old illusions and delusions.
  • A call to enter into the darkness of the unconscious and to come to grips with one's fantasy made demons.
  • Within 18 weeks or 18 months the querent must take control of the survival mind and expand it beyond its fear based perspectives.
  • They must remember, that they are a Spirit who owns a body, not a body who owns a spirit; an Immortal Conscious that owns a mortal consciousness.
  • The Moon is about the Illusion of death, so there will be moments of lying, falsity, deception, if the card is ill dignified.

The Tarot of Eli

Thoth Tarot Deck:
 Key 19- THE SUN:
The Principle of Collaboration, Teamwork, and Partnership.

Give forth thy light to all without doubt; the clouds and shadows are no matter for thee. Make Speech and Silence, Energy and Stillness, twin forms of they play.
-Crowley
The Sun represents the Life Force that awaits expression within us all. The twins dancing on the green mountain of creation, symbolize the inner dance of male (electric) and female (magnetic) energy that is dancing in us all. The dancing gods of Shakti (Goddess) and Shiva (God) that are the rhythm of Life's heart beat. All the signs of the zodiac that encompass the Sun, show that we bring exuberance and consistency to the dance of two (one on one relationships) as well as to group or organizational settings.

The orange band around the Sun represents the implementing of a shared vision which is the purpose of Teamwork and Partnership. Therefore, Creation is a form of play and exploration and it is the Divine Child within us that is always seeking to express itself in unlimited ways. We are infinite beings, children of Goddess/God-Divine Creative and can never grow old. We are the manifested Joy of Creation who has come to dance amongst creation as a joyful expression of I AM ME! We are both magnetic and dynamic and we are a "self experiment" that cannot be made by anyone else . It is time to remember that if we are good enough for the Divine Creative to create as a Self Image, then we are good enough for any damn person!

The Qabalistic Tarot Key 19 the Sun represents The Hebrew letter Resh, meaning-Head. Thus the Head is seen as the Sun of the Body. It is the Head-Sun that rises above the Earth and the lower thoughts of the survival thinking.
The Sun, is cited as the Thirtieth Path and/or the Collective Intelligence, and is the Day-side card of The Thirtieth Night-Side Path-The Shadow Tarot-Rafliflu.  In Paul Foster Case's Tarot instruction called, The Thirty Two Paths of Wisdom,The Collective Intelligence of the Sun ( Son) exercises control over the 12 signs of the zodiac ( 12 guideposts of Personality), shown on this Thoth card by the 12 rays radiating outward from the central orb. The Sun-Path of Resh, is also a link between the personalities that have been experienced in different incarnations.
The Path of Resh, is the first of the Personality triad of  paths, rising on the Tree of Life, from Yesod (foundation) to Hod (splendor). The encountering student, will experience the intellectual-formative side of this conscious energy as an activating force of the Personality.

Just as the Higher Self and the Spiritual Self are composites of  the masculine-intuitive dynamic,Yod and a feminine-Intellectual-formative, Heh, that together combine opposing forces, producing a set of equalized forces called Vau, so does The Path of Resh. All of this is explained in greater detail in my class reference book by Robert Wang: THE QABALISTIC TAROT (a text book of Mystical philosophies). For now, suffice it to say that The Sun-collective,  assembles all the component parts of the Personality on these lower paths, by infusing them with "light and Warmth" which are considered intellectual qualities. Thus the Path of the Sun (Resh) is considered the highest level of human intellect, as The Star-Key 17, is considered the highest path of human emotions.

What may be curious to the discerning student of Tarot, is that when you combine The Sun 's high intellect with the high emotion of The Star card, the balanced effected is represented by The Tower-key 16, which at first glance seems the opposite of balance, if not out right chaos. However, what we are witnessing here, is the destruction of the unworthy elements of the "man-made personality", so that the Sun (son) Solar Personality/Logos is free to arise to its Source.

The Hexagram is the symbol of the composite Thirtieth Path which is  compressed of the Four Elements, the Signs of the Zodiac, and the Planets, all under the Ruler ship of the Sun. Thus, the Hexagram is the symbol of the perfect integration of Personality and Higher Self  (Tiphareth -meaning Beauty). The Sun is also called the "Splendor of the Material World", as it connects Yesod-Foundation to Hod-Splendor, and is basically representative of the intellect acting upon the dual human condition of consciousness and the physical body. Thus, the Sun is a point of connection with the Greater Life that is comprised by balancing the human intellect with the Higher Intellect that is the "Sun (Son) of God".

For the initiate, experiencing the Path of  Resh, is very profound as it is the introduction to the inner sun, which is the light of the personality, as the outer sun is the light of the physical world. What one tends to forget, while experiencing the warmth and light of this inner sun, one's personality cannot look directly into this Solar intelligence, anymore than they can at the physical sun, without suffering damage to the past way of being. As shown by The Tower Card;  equilibrium will be reached by "burning away" what is unworthy of the Higher Personality.
As I have said before, working on the Paths brings about definite physio-chemical changes in the human body and as one of the most noted teachers of the Hermetic Qabalah, Paul Foster Case has stated in his study course, The Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom,"...marked inner differences from the average person, are due to psychological contrasts in the mental state of the ordinary human beings, but they are also the outer signs of organic changes inside the skin of the new creature. He [She] is chemically and structurally unlike genus homo.  There are different constituents in his [her] blood stream.  Through his [her] nervous system pass currents of force not present in most human bodies because in his [her]organism channels are open which are closed in the physical vehicle of most persons.  Centers in the nervous system and in the brain, and glands related to them, function differently in the body of an adept from the way they do in the bodies of the greater number of his [her] contemporaries.( The brackets are my own addition, as it was written when the proper He was used to describe both sexes.) This is the same physio-chemical change that happens to adepts in the Tantric Arts, where balanced Divine Male and Divine Female  energy opens up the Divya Sidhis or magic abilities.

The Qabalist always bears in mind that the Personality, the component parts of which are represented on these lower Paths of the Tree of Life, functions through the body as an experience-collecting vehicle for the Soul/Spirit.  To divorce the body of Spirit from the Spirit or Spirituality is a most serious mistake of divisionism, for then we are mentally and thus physically divorcing ourselves from the very Powers that created the body!
The Physical Body is a Spiritual body manifested for the purpose of Discernment, by the Golden Psyche. For nothing can be more sacred than the ability to discriminate to a Creative Genus of Life. The Divine Collective Unconscious is a great psyche, but without sensation, the Divine is unable to discern what lessens or expands and liberates Life. The Human Body is the Golden Crucible of the Divine Collective-Alchemist where Higher thoughts are formed by their ability to preform in a sensual living world!
Also the physical body is the  "golden crucible" (made of Crystalline sun light)  of the alchemist, and the Sun is thus an important symbol in gnosticism, as well as the inner furnace heat (inner star) that is the alchemical process of turning the lead of unworthy thought into the gold of Higher Mind.

The Shadow Tarot-Path 30-Rafiflu,
being the night-side of Psyche, concentrates on the unconscious results of the inner Dark Sun, or the Dark Fire, of the Divine Collective.  Here is depicted the Hawk of Solar Consciousness ( Egyptian god-Horus)

casting the entity Rafiflu in deep shadow with hooded wings.

Rafiflu represents the power of the Dark Sun, to burn away what is of no use to the Divine Collective. In such power the conscious ego is surrendered, by shamanic passage, to the under or nether world of the Unconscious collective. It should be pointed out, that within the Universal Collective Unconscious, are developments, dimensions, and places of "before there was an idea of human being". To the consciousness of a human being, these places are unknown and thus feared. Therefore the consciousness having no control, imagined or otherwise, over the currents of these "Dark States of Mind", is often terrified.  As is often seen in our Day-side life, if we feel we have control of a situation, we feel secure and unafraid, but stress occurs, when we have no or little control of a situation, therefore, the dark seems negative. The dark psyche is not negative in terms of life, but in terms of polarity and therefore, like negative electrons attract the positive, draws in the "seeker" like an undercurrent of a powerful river.
Knowing this, Linda Falorio, has shown the darkness of this card as the "hidden Sun", the dark double, Hoor-paar-kraat. ( Ancient Egyptian for Horas as Har-pa-khered):

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  (Redirected from Har-pa-khered)
For other uses, see Horus (disambiguation).God of the sun, sky and kingship Horus was often the ancient Egyptians' national patron god. He was usually depicted as a falcon-headed man wearing the pschent, or a red and white crown, as a symbol of kingship over the entire kingdom of Egypt.NekhenBehdet EdfuThe wedjat eyeSerket (as Haroeris), Hathor (in one version)Osiris and Isis in some myths, andNut and Geb in others.OsirisIsisSet, and Nephthys (as Horus the Elder)ImsetyHapiDuamutef,Qebehsenuef (as Haroeris), Sekhemet (as Horus)Horus is one of the oldest and most significant deities in ancient Egyptian religion, who was worshiped from at least the late Predynastic period through to Greco-Roman times. Different forms of Horus are recorded in history and these are treated as distinct gods by Egypt specialists. These various forms may possibly be different perceptions of the same multilayer deity in which certain attributes or syncretic relationships are emphasized, not necessarily in opposition but complementary to one another, consistent with how the Ancient Egyptians viewed the multiple facets of reality. He was most often depicted as a falcon, most likely a lanner or peregrine, or as a man with a falcon head. The earliest recorded form of Horus is the patron deity of Nekhen in Upper Egypt, who is the first known national god, specifically related to the king who in time came to be regarded as a manifestation of Horus in life and Osiris in death. The most commonly encountered family relationship describes Horus as the son of Isis and Osiris but in another tradition Hathor is regarded as his mother and sometimes as his wife. Horus served many functions in the Egyptian pantheon, most notably being a god of the sun, war and protection.

As you can see from the Wikipedia explanation, Horus has come from a long linage of name changes, that may leave the student of the "Solar Logos" confused and frustrated. Be that as it may, and all myth aside, there is an "outer" solar you, basking in the reflected light of a Sun and an "inner" solar you born of dark energy and dark matter; before time dared even march across a starry sky.  That Dark one, is worth knowing, and in fact must be known if we are to "Above All Things Know Thyself". That dark world of Self Existence, is the "Spirit" behind the scenes of our projection into reflected light.  It is the Bacchus, who designed our Sensual ecstatic dance  and called it Life.
Therefore upon entering the Tunnel of Rafiflu, the personal consciousness is shed as clothing, in an orgy of dark instincts, drunk on existence [I AM is existence, I AM Me, is Life] when the cork of "me" is pulled from the amphora of the subconscious.  The subconscious is then filled with the Gnostic Light, The True Will, and/or One's Angel, which makes us humans equal to gods.

However, getting past the right-brain, tempter, or "entangler", as represented as a cuttlefish on The Shadow Tarot card, is a difficult task and requires unrelenting focus on the "inner Buddha" before the entangler's grip on your brain is "wrent asunder". We will find that in the Tunnel of Rafiflu are the personalities hung; once worn as masks of the Self through incarnations; the place where the soul collects software for future reference in order to aid the composing of yet another mask of self, i.e.consciousness.  Masks are therefore, not bad, but rather wonderful entertainment in the Bacchanalian enterprise of I AM ME! Self is No-thing, so being Some-thing, is a joyous, ribald, and ecstatic masquerade to The Divine Creative!  Here is Rebirth and illumination to the Gnostic, transformation to the physicist, and to the mundane, life, death and rebirth.

The Powers, relieved by entering Rafiflu are:
  1. Transcendence of the ego.
  2. Evolution beyond the animal mind, into trans-personal, subtle, causal realms.
  3. The ability to review past lives, reincarnations etc. as you are no longer a personal psyche, but the "Whole Psyche" viewing it's creations.
  4. Here, we are innocent, without cultured morality, and therefore able to "get on with being our-self".
When the Thoth Sun or The Shadow Tarot-Rafiflu card is thrown during a reading, the querent is experiencing:
  • A time of rekindled enthusiasm. What has previously existed, is now being revitalized by our inner Sun.
  • Has learned from the past and is now ready to make refinements and adjustments so that one can expand and liberate one's self from past self- imposed limitations.
  • New and more effective self expression. Wholeness, achievement and revelation come together reaffirming One as Life.
  • Optimism.
If the Sun card is thrown with a Lover's card:
  • the querent will soon meet or has met their soul mate and are soon to dance as one (in love or hate).

Tarot Card Comparisons, The Shadow Series: The Thoth Key-20- The Aeon & The Shadow Tarot- Path 31- Shalicu

The Tarot of EliThe Thoth Key 20: The Aeon/Judgment, of Qabalisitic Tarot is:
The principle of good judgment that is utilized in both personal and professional situations.

The Egyptian Goddess Nuit (Nu, Nut etc.), the dark Sky Goddess curves over the figure of Osiris, Egyptian God of Wisdom ( Chokma on the Tree of Life) who married Isis, Egyptian Goddess of Intuition (Binah on the Tree of Life). The union  of Isis & Osiris gave birth to Horus, the God of Perception, which is seen as three floating fetuses.

Nuit makes the sign of Leo; the zodiac Leo represents creative and professional power. This card reminds us that properly used creativity makes positive impact in both family and professional career.

Osiris/Horus (Horus is the reincarnation of Osiris), with his finger in his mouth, reflects that wisdom comes from experience; to create, see error and correct it, is the path of wisdom. Therefore Wisdom is not randomly spoken.

The red-winged eye of Horus at the bottom of this card represents inspired vision that gives us the whole-view of any situation.  We should understand that by creating error and correcting that error, we become wise through experience.  Here we have Astral transformation that soon becomes physical manifestation. Everything is a symbol of the One Self, for everything proceeds from a generating idea (self-awareness) which is related to transcendent conception. I (Osiris) Am (Isis) Me (Horus)...is the generating principle of manifestation.

We are the Divine Me communicating to the Whole of Spirit (Holy Ghost) as I Am Manifested! We need never leave that which we truly love, for all we become truly aware of, we become!

The Aeon, key 20, is called the Path of Shin, meaning Tooth. The maternal meaning of the letter Shin is Fire, both the meaning of the Path and the maternal meaning are a powerful combination of consumption.
Paul Foster Case describes the Path of Shin,as ," The Perpetual Intelligence", because it is a continuous  monitoring Intelligence of the progress of the Personality toward Universal Consciousness. Now I have often called the Mind Universal Un-Conscious, not consciousness, simply because a consciousness is a microcosmic reality; However, if we release our consciousness to the Universal Unconscious  Collective of Living Energy,i.e. The Macrocosm, we have developed a Consciousness that bridges the Macrocosm and Microcosm; Therefore the conscious personality, becomes that of the Greater Self. We have then successfully become the Horus, the 22nd century human evolution! ( That is the reasoning behind Crowley's replacing the old Judgment card with the newer Aeon card).

The Path of Shin joins the Earth Intelligence-Malkuth with that of Hod-the Splendor Intelligence, which is the Sephiroth base of the Pillar of Severity, connecting Earth with the Will-To-Form of the Great Binah. On this path, the Student experiences a perpetual burning away of  that which is unworthy by the Archangel controlled "Redeeming Fire"; The Sun (Son) of God.
This redeeming fire is a process of purification that becomes physical as the higher vibratory Passion of the Will To Form (The Great Mother) begins hotly flowing through our bodies. However, with Greater Power comes enhanced risk, caution is need because this is a point of delicate balance, and a Teacher of the Mysteries must expect the Students to react in peculiar ways, such as a feeling of heated passion for the Teacher. This is simply a misplaced transference, because the cultural ego, seeks self gratification when stimulated in passions fires. The student really is at the beginning of experiencing unconditional love, which is yet muddled with conditional thinking.

What the student and teacher  of the mysteries should understand is that this Passion dynamic is the Fire of Spirit and with proper guidance the Student will go into the Fire, instead of trying futilely to control it with conditions of the "me" centered personality.  Therefore the understanding that Universal Mind is not under the control of personality, is the lesson of Hod. For Unconditional love and passion, is not a peacock's splendor, rather it is the Foundation of all Creation, but to know this is a perpetual process of "burning off the unworthy" so that progress can continue. Thus the "Splendor of the Material World" is burned away in a kind of physical resurrection, a rebirth of body and personality sending us perpetually towards the Great Mother and reacquainting us with our Divine Childhood as Horus.
The Great Mother is a Dark Womb before the Sun, Therefore this resurrection is bases on the developments of the opposite card to this progressive Path of Shin. A path that is THE MOON -Key 18, relating to the disciplined quest for a greater reality, that actually changes the physiological as the balanced  Energies of both Shin and Qolph (the Moon) stimulate the rebirth of our bodies, that is a physiological rebuild, necessary to handle the higher vibratory states of the Higher Consciousness and the One Emotion that is Love without conditions. For when you are viewed by the One, it Knows itself as you

The Qabalistic path of Shin is a process that Paul Foster Case described, as building a "Master's Body"; a body, where the Kundalini is flowing, uncoiled and hot, with out emotionally adverse effects.

The Path of Shin, is the bright fiery probationary path of the Intellect where the components of the Personality first encountered in The Universe Path of Tau, are critically analyzed and evaluated , i.e. Judged. The opposite path is that of THE MOON, a dark watery probationary path of emotions, that is known as the Night-side (The Shadow Tarot). The balance of Aeon and Moon, builds the Master body...the Manifested Body of Horus - The Solar Child of Isis and Osiris ( The two previous Aeons).
These introductory Paths to the True Nature of Self in incarnation, are usually extremely difficult to travel, because these Elemental Paths of which The Aeon, The Fool, The Hanged Man are known, are very difficult to understand. This mental difficulty is aided by the fact that  all of the Elements are present on each Path, in either repressed or expressed form. For example, the pattern of Maternal letters (form producing intelligence) as stated in the Qabalistic Text, Sepher Yetzirah, that Air (Gases) produces Water which produces Fire which we know to be true by studying physics.  THE FOOL-0, is pure Air.
  1. THE HANGED MAN-KEY  12,  is Air acted upon by Water.
  2.  THE AEON  Key- 20, is Air and Water  acted upon by Fire within the human body. It pays to note, that the human body is the Crucible of Spiritual Alchemy.
On the 31st Path of Shin, represented by the Thoth Aeon Card, the Consciousness (Water) is activated by the Dynamic Principle (Fire) in the presence of equilibrating Spirit (Air) with in the physical vehicle (Earth), all of which produces a balance of intelligence forces in the individual, necessary for total understanding of the Personality structure  and its relationship  to the Greater Self.

Since in the Collective  Universal Unconscious, becoming never ends, Self Awareness becomes a love process of being! As previously explained, the Aeon-key 20, is known as the 31st Path of Shin (tooth) on the Tree of Life.

Many Qabalists know the Middle Pillar, the straight alignment of Malkuth, Yesod, Tiphareth and Kether, is the pillar of balance, or Pillar of Mildness, and would seem the gentle path of love.  Yet the Path of Shin, is Left hand Path, the left side Pillar of Severity and is usually subject to imbalance and would seem to be authoritarian. The answer to this seeming contradiction, is that every symbol represented on these Path cards, is a duality, containing its own opposite. Each Path must contain the essential components of its opposite Path, as energy moves from positive to negative, male to female, electric to magnetic in a figure 8. Upon viewing Hod (Splendor) you will see that it is connected or conjoined with Netzach. Hod is related to The Aeon, and Netzach is related to The Moon, showing that intelligence applied without feeling is as pathological as feeling applied without intellect.  And since the Cards represent a kind of intellect/conscious energy, everything we experience, every idea, every activity, co-exists in us with its opposite.

There are so many concepts to grasp in the Major Arcana, that the student may feel overwhelmed. Luckily, the images on the both the Thoth and Shadow Tarot Cards are pictorial representation of the  visual experiences of the Paths opening up a great deal of learning by meditating on them. These Qabalistic Images have been carefully assembled over the centuries by the experienced mind work of highly advanced women and men, who have at first traveled these inner Archetypal Roads and then meticulously laid down, in image, the details to assist latter generations.
It is often the short coming of most students who begin these  Astral paths, that at once encountering theses Tarot constructs, believing that they have a reality of their own. The Qabalistic Teacher must explain that only when the student is able to go beyond the lower Astral, is it where one touches upon realities that activate the symbols, i.e. "open the Gates" to greater Consciousness.

For instance, while traveling the Inner Path of Shin, one may at first experience what is illustrated on the Aeon Card.  Diligent skrying, will soon project our consciousness beyond the visual construct into a understanding that the Path is the enervating, activating effect of the Cosmic Motive Principle on the individual consciousness. That is to say, that
on the Path of Shin, the Fiery Spirit (kundalini) permeates the Personality of the individual, in the descent of Energy into Matter. Thus, the last illusions of personality separateness is burned away in fiery intelligence of Horus arriving at the Thalamus in the brain.
The Tree of Life is as the Universe, if we have learned any physics at all, we know that from the simplest concept, came all the complexity that is the Cosmos.  In the Big Bang theory, a singularity, which came from nothing (Dark energy and Dark Matter), exploded outward, and became many. This is also a concept easily seen in the development of the human body, as a single celled zygote, divides into hundreds of thousands of cells ultimately ending up as a human body.

In the Tarot, The Fool, is the ultimate simplicity and The Universe is representative of the ultimate complexity and yet all the Cards are implicitly unexpressed in The Fool. Therefore, in all the cards in-between we find the balance between what is expressed or unexpressed.

The Aeon, The Universe and The Moon are aspects of our individual waking consciousness that comprises a sensual personality while also representing stages of Self -Awareness. The Aeon Card, representing the Path of Shin, is where the aspirant to the Mysteries experiences the Personality being lifted from the tomb of matter and evaluated on the extent to which it has balanced the four alchemical elements of Malkuth; Intellect (Fire), emotions (Water), Spirit (Air) and physical-sensual being (Earth). This individual experience also explains the fact that each individual aspirant encounters different experiences on the Paths.

It should be noted, that the patterns of the cards will be totally meaningless, unless the student understands what is symbolized by the four alchemical "Elements" and/or Elemental Forces. Every Qabalistic symbol represents to a specific part of the Whole Self.

Further understanding of The Aeon or Path of Shin, is in its meaning, "Tooth", which suggests hardness, sharpness and/or biting. It is often interpreted as the teeth which chew prior to the ingestion of energy into the system--in this case the Kundalini is released and kills the divided personality, by dealing a final blow to the perception of a separate and individual Personality.

I have mentioned in past blogs that Crowley's Aeon card departs completely from the traditional Cards of the Ryder-Waite or Golden Dawn Tarot decks. The Aeon card is illustrative of Crowley's personal philosophy derived from The Book of Law, which he stated was revealed to him, thus forming the core of his teachings. He called the Aeon Card the Stele of Revealing. In his explanation of the Aeon, he claimed it superseded all traditional concepts of the Key (Judgment Card) because it shows the harmonious, spiritual state of human existence that will reside on this earth in the mid-twenty second century. This advanced human condition is illustrated by the Dark Sky Goddess Nuit(h) arching over her consort, Hadit, who is the Golden Orb of Light. Their Union produces Horus, as shown both seated and standing, his passive and active forms. Crowley states that another name for Horus is  Heru, which is synonymous with Hru, which he calls "The Great Angel set over the Tarot".
All this makes senses as constantly Qabalistic doctrine is a system of Gnosis (Knowledge) that evolves with the races of human kind. We have passed into the predicted 500 year period of extreme darkness and trial, preparatory to a new Aeon of Light. Thus, we have the letter Shin below the Standing Horus, in a flowery form and the the Three Yods (Spirit flames), each have a internal human shape that is arising to partake of the Light of the coming Aeon. Naturally the study of The Book of Law is recommended to further the understanding of this card of the new Aeon.

The Shadow Tarot-Path 31-Shalicu concentrates on process of the personality passing through the Fires of Shin as Linda Falorio writes in her book, The Shadow Tarot,Dancing With Demons:
"Passing through fires of transformation, we shed preconscious conditioning, all limiting definitions of self. Dross thus burned away, spirit is free."

Shalicu is the man made definition world destroyed by the fire of Dark Energy Mother-Psyche, thus burning away the limiting self definitions of a material form and freeing the Spirit to reincarnate and move between worlds at will. According to Linda Falorio, Shalicu is a tunnel of plutonian forces that regulate transformation, mutations, evolution of the psyche and DNA.
Instead of calling the new Aeon, Horus, she names the new Aeon, that of Maat- the Egyptian Goddess of Transformation who judges the soul/psyche after death. This would make sense, because The Entity of Judgment, is the Great Mother,
who knows her psyche-Children and what is unworthy of them. Plus, the opposite side of Osiris is Isis, and vise- verse. Horus is Osiris transformed and reincarnated by Isis/Maat.

Shalicu is shown as a stylized Thermonuclear venting tower, glowing in meltdown fires. What she calls a "ultimate symbol of Choronzon".
[From Wikipedia]
Choronzon/ˌkˌrnˈzn/ is a demon or devil that originated in writing with the 16th-century occultistsEdward Kelley and John Dee within the latter's occult system of Enochian magic. In the 20th century he became an important element within the mystical system of Thelema, founded by Aleister Crowley, where he is the Dweller in the Abyss, believed to be the last great obstacle between the adept and enlightenment. Thelemites believe that if he is met with proper preparation, then his function is to destroy the ego, which allows the adept to move beyond the Abyss of occult cosmology.  Again,  as in the Thoth Day-side Aeon Card, we go into the "tooth" (Shin) that masticates the cultural man-made personality, so that the true "Seed of Self" can flower in the warmth of the bright solar Sun of God.
There is so much mythology quoted that the Goddess Chaos is honored in the art of this card. So let's just get the book and cards of Linda Falorio and spend hours looking up the many mythological figures of a variety of cultures, that pertain to ego destruction.  For my blog has already explained the phenomena experienced in the Skrying of this card.
The abilities gained when successfully traveling the psyche-tunnel of Shalicu are:

  1. The power to decondition responses.
  2. Breaking free of crystallized cultural definitions of self.
  3. Transformed ways of viewing reality and ingrained emotional patterns.
  4. Ability to relearn and view self objectively, outside of space/time, and society.
  5. Detachment from social, cultural, and national identities, customs, mores and beliefs.

When the Thoth Aeon or The Shadow Tarot-Shalicu card is thrown during a reading, it implies (all the above and):
  • That a final decision has been reached.
  • A matter has been determined without appeal on its plane.
  • The final decision has been made, and a new state of enlightenment is arising in the querent.
  • One is showing good judgment in personal and professional situations.

The Tarot of Eli
The Qabalistic Thoth -Key 21- The Universe.

The universe resounds with the joyful cry I AM.
-Scriabin

The proper study of the Paths (Major Arcana cards) is the ascending of Understanding up the Tree of Life, as we are "below" and need to remember the realms of Pure Spirit "above". The experiences on Earth, assist us in our goals of a more refined understanding of Universal patterns. Such as a microscope helps the biologist in a more refined understanding of cell- structure and bacteria, earth manifestation, with its crystalline lenses of light,(the "I sight" of our senses), helps us see deeply into the microcosm, so that we better understand the macrocosm.
As long as our Divine Consciousness is functioning though a physical vehicle. this is where our serious esoteric work begins and ends.

The 32nd Path of Tau-Key 21-The Universe and its Shadow side-Path 32 Thantifaxath, joins the crystallized world of earth, Malkuth, meaning Kingdom, with the Sephira Yesod, meaning Foundation  It is the first journey out of the material condition, that leads us to a greater understanding of the Personality that was designed by the Higher Self  (Tiphareth) for each incarnation; before our man-made personality blinded us to our divinity.

Paul Foster Case, who wrote the book,The Thirty Two Paths to Wisdom (the number Thirty Two is the sum of the Paths and the Sephiroth) calls the  Path of Tau (The Universe card) the" Administrative Intelligence" because it "directs and associates in all seven planets." The "seven planets" he is referring to are the Microprosopus-Hexagram pattern of the seven planets on the Tree of Life.

The Qabalistic understanding of the Path of Tau (meaning cross), from Malkuth to Yesod, is rooted on the fact that all is Mind. I know that as we are all body oriented, we think that the Mind's realm of ideas, dreams, or thoughts, are somehow divorced from the physical. We have a dysfunctional dual concept of ourselves as a body and mind. The Qabalah teaches that all is Mind, yes the body is "crystallized mind": but Mind just the same! Taking this a step further, All is Spirit and the body is "Crystallized Spirit".
In the Mysteries, the distinction of Mind and Body is one of  perception (brought on by senses), not an actuality. The pictures we see when we close our eyes, are a more refined form of  matter, the images and energy forms which are closest to the physical condition.
The concept of Yesod (Foundation) is based on the understanding that most of the Universe is unseen, in fact, our bodies are composed of the electromagnetic spectrum and seem solid, yet they are 99.6 % invisible. That means, that most of us are judging the Kingdom of God (the Earth/Universe) with less than .4% of our minds, via sensuality! Malkuth is the only sensual kingdom, therefore, we must travel the Path of Tau to experience the "Seven Palaces of Assiah"(Seven planets); as represented by the seven pointed star on this card.
If you have been keeping up with my blog, you now know that the Universe Card is a multidimensional understanding of the Cosmic Mind, i.e. The Universal Collective Unconscious.

After some study, one may grasp the principle that the entire Tree of Life, which is taught through the Path of Tau-The Universe, is the most profound concept of "As above, so below". To a sensual body, this means "up and down", to the Infinite, this just means "higher vibration"/less crystalline and "lower vibration" or more crystalline, a normal occurrence as energy condenses to greater and greater crystallization. Of course,  energy frequency, ideas and Mind are inseparable, just as electricity and data in your computer are inseparable. Thus another axiom is attributed to the Tree, "The Know is in the Flow". That is why, when we mentally journey a Path, we gather knowledge at the same time we encounter higher mental frequency. Diligently skrying is more than just a moment of silent contemplation, it is also a gathering of information.
I have discussed the "Will-To-
Form"  that is the Great Mother Binah (3 Sephiroth on the Tree of Life) who is the Life Conscious and which is Saturn in the exalted Supernal Realm. She is completely expressed on the Path of Tau, key 21-The Universe.

The female figure of the" Cosmic Dancer" of the Universe, is the fullest expression of this Life Conscious and has been called  Isis, the Aima Elohim, as well as, Saturn who gives life and destroys it and Great Mother Binah.

The oval ring of Stars that surrounds the central  female figure represents the Womb of the  human female, as well as, the Cosmic Womb into which the soul passes after body death. We arise from our death surrounded in a ring of stars, on our way to the Great Mother.
Life , with its beginning, middle, and end, processes in waves or spirals (Spirit is a Spiral flow of  Will-to-form Energy) which come back upon themselves. This circling back upon itself is often shown as a Great Serpent.  This is also the natural course of the Akashic Fluid (Astral Fluid) of Yesod where the Serpent Kundalini is coiled in its passive state, and uncoiled in its active state.

The Universe Card is also surrounded in the Great Dark Sea, a reference to the Great Mother Binah, who is the Sea of all consciousness which on the path of Tau is consciousness in the most dense and difficult expression.

Again, discrimination must be used when traveling the Akasha of Yesod. Many who entered this Path, entertain themselves with extended fantasy and find themselves tormented by phantoms of there own making. The discerning traveler will supply every test of reason, and feeling. After a time of discernment, one will begin experiencing a process of learning, which is not of their own making. Verifying the images by elaborate research definitely aids in this process.
Again, the Thoth card is representing the principle of individuality, totality, and wholeness. To those of Eastern culture, this is the image of Shiva; to the Christian, this is the image of the virgin Mary with her foot on the head of the serpent. Regardless of cultural interpretation this card symbolizes the Divine Androgen that is both dynamic and magnetic in a perfectly balanced dance (life motion) of I Am.The Thoth card represents the great inner work of unifying polarities, oppositions, and paradoxes within oneself.
  1. Sickle in hand the Thoth figure cuts away limitations and restrictions while weaving them into a web to dance on.
  2. The regenerative diamond-back serpent is representative of the need to transform before we can expand and liberate ourselves from the past self- imposed limits.
  3. The spiral hair-do symbolizes growth and evolution.
  4. The diamond halo is the symbol for expanded awareness, such as psychic abilities etc.
  5. The Greek pantheon at the bottom represents the home of all the goddesses and gods. When our body becomes the temple of our divinity, such a pantheon are we.
  6. The four animals symbolize, earth (Taurus the bull), fire (Leo, the lion), water (Scorpio, the bird): and air (Aquarius, the human face). This shows us that it is important to express ourselves, physically,(Taurus), spiritually (Leo), emotionally (Scorpio), and mentally (Aquarius).
The Shadow Tarot path 32-Thantifaxath;
Normally, I try to explain in an mundane way, the workings of Linda Falorio, but you must see for yourself, just how much Myth and awe she devotes to the production of her cards.

One may note that all this reasoning was presented in the Day-side Tarot of Thoth, but in a less "nightmare-ish" way. The reasoning behind this is that by the time one is able to walk the 32nd path, they have gone far beyond the fear of death, life, or even the "never-never". They know that I AM is always and those whose personality was sacrificed on the altar of the Greater Self, have only absolute trust in being "Me". However, a great effort must be made to have a personality bound in "rationale" reach some understanding of what is not "explainable to the brain" and she has done a fine job in making the student investigate each Myth bound entity, so that a depth of realization may be reached. That being said:

From the Great One of the Night of Time came the Trees of Darkness: language, ordering, time; thus the Stellar Current earths, flowering into thousand-petaled Sahasrara.

"And in the heart of the Sphinx dances the Lord Adonai, in his garlands of roses and pearls making glad the concourse of things, yea making glad the concourse of things."
Aleister Crowley, Liber CCXXXI

"The 32nd tunnel is under the aegis of Thantifaxath . . . whose name should be reverberated in the key of 'B' sharp as if in the hollows of chthonian deeps . . ."
"The sigil includes the geomantic figure of Acquisitio which is attributed to the number nine, and which in this instance is informed by the fiery Sagittarius—hence the electrical nature of Thantifaxath and its earthing in the hidden chthonian cells . . ."
Kenneth Grant, Nightside of Eden

excerpted from . . .The Shadow Tarot © Linda Falorio, 1995
Rising swamp-gas, distorting heat-mirages signify the tunnel's entrance which exists in the wavering interface between the worlds of inner tellurian space and stellar consciousness. Here all has been arranged for performance of the ancient Elder Rites. Trees of Darkness, cypress swamp, bayous filled with ghouls and larvae of the pit celebrate with choreiform dancing dread Odun, the African Sabbath, Saint John's Eve, while corpse candles' phosphorescent glare illumines the gate/mouth/sipapu through which Zangbeto, "people of the night," Lovecraftian transhuman horrors—the Old Ones—invade our dimension from the Other Side.
From the triple Goddess—New/Full/Dying Moon—the Great One of the Night of Time whose Saturn sickle speaks of Death came the Trees of Darkness: Tree Alphabet, language, ordering, thus begetting time, history, and genealogy, thus crystallizing ego, and ending the blissful period of timeless wavering myth. The Moon is thus the progenitor of Time, the 37-year cycle of Her Nodes generating the Great Polar Cycle of 25,900 Earth years, creating the Precession of the Equinoxes as the North Pole points to each of seven stars, here reflected in the pool of space round which the crocodile Sebek/Set, expectantly curls, ready to devour ego into uroboric bliss. Thus the Cosmic Serpent, spiraling tail in mouth, never returning to the same point in celestial space, traces the 7-fold Star of Isis-Babalon in athetoid progression around the pole of the ecliptic. This Great Year corresponds to 5 Mayan Great Cycles, and marks Nibiru's inevitable returning. Thus the stellar current earths in chthonian dream cells through Thantifaxath—the ego boundary, arachnoid membrane, the linking point of inner/outer, of microcosm/macrocosm, Bifrost, rainbow bridge between terrestrial and stellar currents. Crystallized in matter, the current turns upon itself, shoots up Sushumna in the spinal column, flowering into thousand-petalled Sahasrara, in the tellurian halo of Northern Lights transmitting earth rays to the stars, and bringing the New Age upon Earth: "Raise Chthulhu to the Stars!"The sigil appears upon a diamond used to imprison souls in space, creating living zombies. Here is crystallization that is living death, dying from the inside-out, body armoring, ego-encrustation, crystallization at a too-early stage impeding further growth. For whom are zombies, but those who identifying ego with Self have forsaken childhood dreams, who have forever lost the key to Never-Never Land, that charmed inner Paradise.MEDITATION:The need to work with the energies of Thantifaxath may be signaled by experiencing feelings of restriction, feeling tied down, time bound, old, depressed, blind, dead. Here too, is fear: fear of voudoun, of being mounted by the Loa; fear of magickal attacks; separation anxiety. Here is fear of death, which results in leeching present moments of life and power by dwelling in a nonexistent past and projecting toward an illusionary future. In the Microcosm there is psychological de-compensation, loss of ego, while macrocosmically we find deterioration of Polar ozone that protects fragile Terra from blasting stellar rays.
Powers we may find here are the ability to cross dimensions, to bridge boundaries, to link inner and outer, to communicate with denizens of parallel worlds: fairies, yetis, elves. Here is power to understand and to use the raw energy of time inherent in its cycles, and here is the Time Lord's power to transcend its limitations, to relate to eternal NOW—no "lusting for result."Here is self-regeneration, as well as regeneration of the energy envelope of Earth, and re-greening of the planet through time-binding stellar winds into the bionic life web.

When the Thoth-Universe or The Shadow Tarot-Thantifaxath card is thrown, the querent is:
  • Casting the circle, which means they are mastering in some way the three planes of mind, body and emotions.
  • End of a phase;completion of some work and expanding toward another.
  • The power to cross boundaries between dimensions, becoming a bridge between the "Above and Below"
  • The power to transcend the limitations of time and relate to the eternal Now. Lusting for no result, as you are the Result!
  • Experiencing self-regeneration, becoming the Wholeness of the Psyche, without boundaries between Unconscious, and Consciousness.
Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper, as your entire Self!

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth ,THE KNIGHT OF WANDS. (Kings in the Golden Dawn and Waite Deck.

There has been much confusion by Tarot readers, concerning the implied meanings of the Court cards and the Kings are no exception.  In the great text book: The Qabalistic Tarot (a text book of mystical philosophy) Robert Wang wrote:
"The four Kings or Figures  mounted on Steeds [Golden Dawn and Crowley versions]  represent Yod forces in the name of each suit, the Radix, Father and commencement of Maternal Forces. A Force in which all the others are implied and of which they form the development and completion. A Force swift and violent in action, but whose effect soon passes away, and therefore symbolized by a Figure on a steed riding swiftly, and clothed in complete amour."
This esoteric meaning may even confuse the issue more, unless the Tarot Reader understands that you cannot separate the Personality from the events that impose themselves upon it.
The Knight of Wands is the motive force behind the Alchemical Fire or Primal Fire (he carries the same wand as the Ace of Wands to illustrate this point). The Knight is a fiery personality with great motivational ability.

Now remember, trying to divide the person from the event is pure folly, so here we have a passionate personality going through a deep-core spiritual event. Old perceptions are being destroyed as fuel on this fire, so that new extended and liberated  perspective gives birth to spiritual insight. You may call this positive male-power, as in electrical polarity, that forms a  swift and occasionally violent personality with the capacity to accomplish long-term goals and handling extremely complex situations but is most often fierce, impetuous , impulsive and tends to act unpredictably.

To the Astrologer, the Knight of Wands rules in the zodiac from 21 degrees Scorpio to 20 degrees Sagittarius. This tends to establish a personality that can sell "ice to Eskimos" because of his unrelenting charm, built out of amusement and optimism. He may also have an abundance of vision and foresight, all of which is passionately expressed. There is also a degree of intolerance, so when pushed this person can become violent and unrelenting.

Generally, The Knight of Wands is a dominant, hard to control person who is attractive but dangerous.  When united with the Primal Water of Female-Magnetic polarity, this is a most attractive personality, and a deeply motivational event of empathy and healing, most like a warm tropical ocean. He is best in his performance when mated with a strong female equivalent. By himself, his very nature "becomes too hot" and he tends to leave bodies behind him.  As a personal note, for myself, a "Ruby Ray" personality, I am Mated to the proper Female Equivalent (Twin flamed to Elizabeth) and She calls me her Prometheus (fire bearer) and properly directs my passion towards the expanding and liberating of Life. I burn hotly, and happily because of this natural paring of forces and forms. I'd be intolerably impetuous with out Her, as would Chokma without Binah. It is also an important note, that the majority of Suns in this Universe are paired with a twin and are called binary stars.  According to  Modern Astronomers, only about 7 to 10% are single stars. Personal spiritual experience, makes a better reader!
To reiterate: Chokmah is the Father God principle and is the first idea of Maleness. Binah, the Mother God, is the first idea of Femaleness. Here The Divine Creative begins the action of Sexual attraction; of the electric and magnetic actions of the Universal Creation.
This"Divine Sex" is a hard one to explain to the self-absorbed who think sexuality as "pleasing moment" of conquest. Those who have felt the deep and powerful fiery Inner forces of Sexuality (Kundalini) are usually unable to mentally rationalize it. It is a stunning and absolute attraction, like lightning striking. It isn't needy, or manipulative, it is as if two magnets of opposite polarity just "slam" together without resistance of any kind and the rationale finds only futility in trying to explain it. It is so powerful, that there isn't any other person in the world. One just "knows" this is the only mate.  Therefore this purely  spiritual-energetic attraction is beyond rational thinking and the brain is stunned by it's lack of control over the situation.

The Kingdom of Heaven, is all around you, and it is built from the attraction of opposites, To understand this powerful attraction we really have to re-think sexuality and understand the attraction of Chokmah and Binah; of Electric and Magnetic. The Universe is created by this often overwhelming activity of Union.

Again, the Knights of Thoth, are the Kings in many other decks. To Crowley, a king siting on a throne did not depict the Active power of a King, therefore, he calls them Knights, which are Battle Kings, Armored, on a mighty-charger, undaunted by battle.
The Knights represent Yod forces in each suit. The Yod is the Radix, and/or Father and commencement of Material Forces. All other forces  are implied here, and as ideas they develop and commence in the Knight. As if volcanic, the Force of the Knight is swift, violent action, that also moves on swiftly. Thus the effects of this force soon pass away.

THE THOTH KNIGHT OF WANDS: is the Lord of Flame and Lightning, king of the spirits of Fire, King of the Salamanders. The last Decan of Scorpio and the first two Decans of Sagittarius are attributed to this card. The Knight of Wands is Specific Fire in Primal Fire on the Tree of Life.
Fire in a alchemical sense, represents the active-vital Spirit Force of Movement that is in all Motion and yet it is also the tempering fire that melds together opposites for the construction of something more than either one. Spirit Fire is Sexuality on a macro-cosmic level.

The Crowley card of the Knight of Wands is all about active force, a leaping black Charger mounted by dark knight, depicting the Dark Fire of Foundational Dark Energy that all Visible Light comes from. That visibility is depicted as surrounding flames. Therefore, the Charger the Dark Knight rides is the equivalent representative of The Shadow Tarot Card-Arcturus/Priest.

The Thoth knights crest is a horse head, implying the influence of Sagittarius, and he is in armor implying the qualities of the Spirit Fire that does battle for us all.  The same Ace of Wands, is the Wand in His hand, implying that he is the vehicle for the Fire Force and is a Solar Phallus.
The characteristics of this Powerful Knight, are qualities of  activity, such as, fierceness, impetuosity, pride, impulsiveness, swiftness in unpredictable actions.
If negative, he is evil-minded, cruel, bigoted, and brutal.  In either case,His swiftness gives him no recourse to act otherwise so he is ill fitted to modify his actions according to circumstances.
The Shadow Tarot, doesn't use separate Court Cards, as the Shadow expression of the 16 archetypal personalities of Modern Psychology. The author of these cards, Linda Falorio, has linked them with the minor arcana.
Here, in Arcturus, she has a Demon of Primordial Fire.  Making sense as Demons are the Shadow side of Angels; or so they seem in Christian mythology.
This Priest of Primordial Fire, is accorded the uses of the rites of Orion-Osiris-LAM; ruled by Demons of the East and West in Primordial Fire. Primordial Fire is the realm of nuclear fusion, by which stars and planets are formed.

Now I for one, have never found "my darkness", for as I have traveled deeper and deeper into my "Dark Energy" Psyche,i.e. Higher Self. I have only found brighter and brighter burning, until I know that I am the heart of a seething vortex of a Fiery Star "I". Every dark "thing" in any dark place, has not been seen by me, as they are only heard scurrying away, frantically fleeing from my brightness, some sobbing and groveling asking me to stop burning them. I have always been called "Eli Serabeth" (or equivalent there of) on every "nether plane" I have ever entered. As a personality, I am merely a construct, forged out of my Soul's passion to be and the culture I am born into. But as an I AM, I am a Solar Self forged by the Big Bang. I've always known, that to the Earth, I came from the part of the dark Sky, known as Orion. This may sound delusional, but dear reader, none of us who operate the Divine Creative's Self Image (Hu=Chinese for god and Man=Hindu, Manas for Mind) come from the psyche of earth. We are of the invading Nephilim or Annunaki. Some of us are from the Orion area of the sky, or from the Sirius area. We are "Angels who fell to earth" and/or DNA and Psyche of Ancient Astronauts. To Truly Know thyself, you must drop religious separation of spirit and body; cultural definition of whom you are, and go deeply past the "terrified reptile" identity of your "Me"-consciousness, into the  Great Authority of I AM whose frequency can be picked up by activating unused chromosomes in your alien DNA. (Which is the purpose of Kundalini meditations).  Such a realm of The Great I AM is Arcturus. I often dare to postulate that,"Stars, built us to experience themselves" and the planets they impregnate. Know that you are a Star, and get on with your "burning"!

The Star Arcturus, was known to the ancient Egyptians as the God, "Smat, one who rules, Subdues, and governs" and as compared to our sun, one can see why.

The ancient Greeks knew the Star Arcturus as the "sword", "dagger" or "lance" in the hand of the winter constellation Orion the hunter.
Linda Falorio, the author of The Shadow Tarot, says the magical images to use when invoking Arcturus, are :
  • A horse
  • A wolf
  • A man dancing.
The magical influences are riches, honors, and renown: invoke Arcturus to cure fevers.
The magical tokens are plantain and jasper.

  • WHEN THE KNIGHT OF WANDS or THE SHADOW TAROT ARCTURUS/PRIEST, IS THROWN DURING A READING, it implies;
  • A spiritual evolution is taking place at a deep core level. It is as if the past personality is fuel for a new phoenix- self arising from the flames.
  • Experiencing the conviction of Spirit with much inner to outward movement of energy and the manifestation of leadership skills.
  • Positive male power, complete with the ability to focus on long term goals but with rapid movement that is able to handle complex situations.
  • Strong minded and able to dominate others by force of will.
  • A master of wit and charm, great sense of humor and warm and generous with a strong liking for fun. Can just about persuade anyone into anything.
  • May be a highly empowered spiritual being. Which doesn't necessarily mean he has your best interest at heart. Spirit is Pure Mind, and doesn't see things in a personal way. Very Impersonal force without the conscience of the personal empathy.
  • A mature male whose inner and outer being are in mutual agreement and balance.
  • One whose dark fire and bright fire of Self are in united performance.
Great power, is often seen as arrogance by the weak of conviction, so this person is either Loved or hated, without gray area acquaintances. Those who doubt themselves, will be inclined to follow and thus secretly fear or hate such a powerfully active Spiritual Being who is unconcerned with how others react to them. Also this will be a person with a Great Libido, as Spiritual Fire and Sexuality are invariably linked, this is also a contention amongst the weak; "the weak" being those who serve reaction rather than action.

The Shadow Series, Tarot Card Comparisons: The Thoth Queen of Wands & The Shadow Tarot-Wega/Pythoness

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Queen of Wands: Represents the spiritual self-discoverer/ the know-er of self. "Above all things, know thyself" is the axiom of the Qabalah/Cabala/Kabala and The Qabalistic tarot cards.
The Thoth Queen of Wands card, symbolizes the Specific Water (Consciousness/Emotions) in the World of Fire (Spirit). The symbol of Pisces as a clasp on her chest, symbolizes the fluidity and the aspiration that is required to attain self-knowledge.
In one hand she has the fire wand, while the other rests on the head of a Leopard.
The Leopard represents the extreme ferocity of Fire tamed by the Queen.
The pine cone on the wand tip, is a ancient symbol for Will and the Pineal gland. She therefore, represents willful control of the Fiery Nature of Creation; Passion, intensity of purpose, and charismatic sensuality. She is very attractive to men since she is representative of the magnetic force that receives the fiery male electric force and controls it to create all living forms and/or her "understandings".

If the Queen of Wands card is thrown during a divination for a man, it often represents the magnetic side of his nature; the anima that is committed to trusting both internal and external experiences that lead to self-knowledge. Self Knowledge is represented by the radiant crown on her head.

When this card is thrown for a woman ,during a divination, it usually means that she is skillful, sexually attractive, mature woman who has routed the "fiery sexual energy" into creative self-expressive work such as art, music, or into a career that encompasses a lifetime dedicated to bringing something of value into being by using the excited electric masculine force. This may be why she was called Hel or Hel-Aine, by the ancients.

In the zodiac, the Queen of Wands rules from 21st  degree of Pisces to the 20th degree of Aries and represents the mysteries of the Watery part of Fire. What can be simply said here, is that Fire is Spirit and the Watery part of Spirit is "spiritual matter" or the Conscious Spirit which is both fluid and colored (colors in Qabalah are not reflections of the force--but the actual force itself) and is often shallowly called "Emotions". If you could see the Aura and Chakras, as I do, you would know that the 8 conscious-states of Energy, called auric bodies, are made of "Spiritual matter"....Solar-Conscious-energy.

The Queen of Wands represents this mystery of the Maternal Solar-Mother of the Spiritual forms. Upon her head is the  winged globed-flame-rayed crown, in her left hand is the cone topped wand of Bacchanalian mysteries and her left hand is placed on the sitting leopard.
The Black Panther is (or black cat) is usually associated with the Dark Goddess, who is the Dark Matter of quantum physics fame, or the Dark Womb of the Collective Unconscious; However, this Queen is the Solar Goddess, and the leopard is used to symbolize her power in repose since it is both black spotted and lion-tawny, as the lion is representative of the Sun. Everything about this card seems to shout "fiery chaos", but if you've noticed, it is a controlled force here, as even her fiery thrown is formed in geometric shapes suggesting "controlled"or purposely directed Passions of a fiery nature.
In ancient Egypt, Sekmet, although noted as the "Dark Goddess" or Shadow sister of Isis, was often shown Lion headed, with the Serpent Force (Sexual Force) as shown in this illustration.

As an Archetype personality, this would be a red or golden haired woman who is adaptable (spontaneous) , persistent in her energy but of calm authority which she knowingly uses to enhance her attractiveness.
Such a woman of passion can be vane, but that is because she knows that passion is attractive in its own rite.
She is often kind and generous  but will not tolerate opposition. There is within such a fiery woman, an immense capacity for friendship and love, as that is the nature of fiery passion; however, it is always done on her own initiative where she can not be talked into it or out of it. The tyrannical tendency is very present here.

When ill defined The Queen of Wands personality can be snobbish, vane, brooding which invariably leads to the negative decisions that cause her to burst into fiercely attack.

Some might call this a "Fiery Latin" type of personality.

Her Passion can be stunning whether it is a sexual relationship or a vendetta, so as the Leopard in her hand, she must be treated with respect, and remember that to play on Her terms, may be beyond the capacity of a less passionate mate.

Being that She is spontaneous in nature as the nature of Spirit is Action, she may enjoy young men more than the "'older, wiser Man", and find that she is unable to apply herself to"long term" relationships as she "burns" them out.

Lots of power here, but she definitely will need an "opposite" to help steady her, which because of her great reservoir of passion, will help her utilize her great capacity for lucid perception and steady prosecution of work; However, this will only be under the guidance of a very creative minded partner.

Often with the fiery emotions of this Queen, there is a liability of fits of depression, that can lead to Tantrums and intoxication (usually alcohol intoxication as that is a "fiery" form of sugar) or fiery outbursts of panic stricken
fury. As with all powerful persons or things, when well guided, there is great fun, joy and Bacchic-satisfaction here, but ill guided, great destruction is released. The surrounding cards in a reading will tell the able Tarot Reader what is guiding this great passionate personality and there is a whiff of Babalon in this card (That is how Crowley spells it) by studying the "Scarlett Woman" of Magick, the student will find further insight into this card.
But be very careful when calling on the Babylon, she can be charmed, but not controlled...unless she wants to be!

The Shadow Tarot Card- Wega/Pythoness (inaccurately spelled Vega) is the Dark Sister Aspect of the Light Side Queen of Wands. She is know as the "falling Vulture", a pale sapphire star found in the lower  part of the constellation of the Lyre which was known in the middle ages as the Vulture Cadens.

This "Vulture Star", Wega, in ancient Babylon was known as the " Messenger of Light" or about 12,000 years ago, Wega was known as Tir-ana, meaning "Life of Heaven" or "Judge of Heaven" and was the north Polar star.

forms one part of the asterism known as the 'Summer Triangle'. Because of axial precession, it takes a turn as the north polar star. It held that position about 12000 years ago and will resume that job in another 14000 years.
Magical image of Wega is a vulture with the Lyre of Orpheus in its beak.

The power over beasts, and devils, is attributed to  Wega's magical influences. That would be another reason why Babylon/Scarlet Woman/Wega is shown as with a Panther or Leopard.

If one wishes to make a talisman altar of this card and it's day-side card the Queen of Wands, Chrysolite, chicory, and earthsmoke/fumitory (a Shaker herbal formula), are the magical tokens to accompany the cards.
The Pythoness, a subtitle of the Wega Shadow Tarot card, is a Greek word for the Oracle of Delphi, known for their magical abilities while being working brides with Lord Python*.

*From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Apollo killing Python. A 1581 engraving by Virgil Solis for Ovid's Metamorphoses, Book In Greek mythologyPython (Greek: Πύθων, gen.: Πύθωνος) was the earth-dragon of Delphi, always represented in Greek sculpture and vase-paintings as a serpent. He presided at the Delphic oracle, which existed in the cult center for his mother, Gaia, "Earth," Pytho being the place name that was substituted for the earlier Krisa. Hellenes considered the site to be the center of the earth, represented by a stone, the omphalos or navel, which Python guarded.Python became the chthonic enemy of the later Olympian deity Apollo, who slew him and remade Python's former home and the oracle, the most famous in Classical Greece, as his own. Changes such as these in ancient myths may reflect a profound change in the religious concepts of Hellenic culture. Some were gradual over time and others occurred abruptly following invasion.

One of my favorite pictures of a Delphi was painted by the 19th century artist, John William Godword.  To me this shows the sultry innocent passion of the most dangerous of Queens, the Scarlet Woman or Babylon. She is so damn beautiful to men, that most of us damn idiots jump right into her Fire!

So, be on your guard if you are a practicing Gnostic Magi, and she contacts you for her power is the sultry warmth of a Summer Sun, and just like such a Sun, the intensity will burn you to your core.
This is not idle supposition as I have danced with this Fiery Entity of the Divine Feminine, and She is forever burned into my soul. I shall never forget my Helen (Hel or Hel-aine or Scarlet Woman), even after 3,000 years, when I first danced with her. The burning is infinite and the longing for her company never fades.

[Just one more picture by John William Godward]

When the Thoth Queen of Wands or The Shadow Tarot-Wega/Pythoness, is thrown during a divination, it Implies that the querent:
    • Is a woman of red or golden hair, blue or brown eyes.
    • Is steady and resolute.
    • Has great power to attract.
    • Is kind and generous when not opposed.
    • When ill dignified, she is obstinate, revengeful and domineering.
    • Is tyrannical and can turn suddenly against another without cause.
    • Or, if the querent is a practicing magician, one has a Kha-dro-ma (Tibetan angel/demon) in their aura. This is the Fiery Feminine power to "reclaim and reincarnate" form to her Understanding, giving her unchallenged power over all Life forms and her understanding is not necessarily that of the Magus and thus can be very dangerous to work with! If you don't mind being destroyed and then rebuilt, let Lilith claim you as "Husband" ("keeper of Her property") first before working with Her "Blood" (Scarlet Woman) manifestation.
    • Priestesses or all that are trying to be: She'll bestow absolute power to you of the "Highest form of Female", power over beasts, men, people, and oracular power for all. You'll need to be very careful with these "magical abilities" for any misuse, will condemn you to alcoholism, etc.
Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper! Keep on Dancing!

The Tarot Of EliYesterday's blog was about the Thoth Queen of Wands and The Shadow Tarot, Wega/Pythoness. Wega, is the proper spelling of the Star Vega, which is one of the openings of access to this world for a "Race" of inter-dimensional genetic manipulating  time traveler's ,"Dragondane",who where called upon by the Ancient Oracles of Delphi. The Delphi were also called Pythoness or Pythonia, and with a mind altering drug, could see beyond time into the future. It also maybe that the Dragondane can be contacted by skrying the Wega Shadow Tarot Card. Yesterday's blog explained Python, the one who the Pythonia contacted, as the "World Dragon", so you can see where the name "Dragondane" came from. The Star Wega, is a living womb, as are all stars. Some are maids, some are Mothers and some are Crones. None are what we think they are.

By skrying the Day-Side Thoth Tarot-Queen of Wands, one may contact the Entity known as "The Scarlet Women" or Babylon. For calling on Babylon, the mind altering drug is usually endorphin , heightened by sexual magick. Here's the rub: All you young testosterone flooded males out there: DON'T , unless you succeed and become Totally obliterated!

Babylon is a Scarlet or Red Star and all this is often confusing since Stars are seen as dead thermonuclear furnaces rather than the doorways or windows of the Dark Womb-Divine Creatrix; Openings much like vaginal openings of
wombs.  Interestingly, there are in the Orion system, two red Suns, Arcturus and Betelgeuse, both Red/Scarlet Women. Another interesting fact to delight of those who  masticate thought, is that the majority of stars in our universe are "red dwarfs".

I know that Aleister Crowley, whose name delights the rebellious, was infatuated with the Babylon, and spent his entire life in drug induced sexual magick acts, trying to contact her. For purposes of his own personal power, or for some other reason, which does not mater. She is Destructive to your  Self-Psyche and he died in poverty and of lymphatic cancer!

Let me explain: One of the Babylon's names is in the Old English, Helen, or Hebrew Hel-Aine. This Hebrew word is very descriptive of her "Power" as Heh (h) means "Window", El, is the name of God and Ain (e) is the "No-Thing". Therefore, translated, Hel-Aine means "The Window to the God of No-Thing". The Three states of "No-Thing" are Limitless Space, Limitless Time, Limitless light.
To see Her is to view the Dark Light, the Dark Energy of limitlessness, or No thing, i.e. an all consuming "Black Hole" which is made by a collapsed star!
In other words, the Scarlet Woman is a door way/Window or Star into oblivion. Through this state of the Divine Feminine, all form is Understood into being as it enters from idea into form. She, the Babylon seems to be an intelligent entity.

She is the "Blood Moon", or the "Menstrual Blood" of the Divine Feminine, therefore a Red Star, which may sound odd but in truth, this force of Mother, preforms the purification rite, by blood/or Dark Fire, that "Purifies" the very poisonous nature of Light itself! The electromagnetic light spectrum is mostly cosmic radiation, x-rays, Gama Rays, Ultra-violet radiation, etc, All of which are deadly to life forms. Through her "Womb of Understanding", ideas become transformed into fertile and fecund life forms from "Blood light", of which the Orphic Egg of the Cosmos is made! Let me explain: according to string theory of Quantum Physics, in all particles of mater, are multidimensional "strings" (serpents), one point of which is a particle (a quark, neutrino etc.). The Orphic egg, is the oval form of the cosmos, wrapped in serpent;  representing a string of energy and its particle./point in our Universe.

Now this Scarlet Womb may sound innocent enough, and maybe even an understood function of woman's sexuality, BUT YOU AREN'T AN UNDERSTOOD IDEA OF HER'S ANYMORE!
What was the "you" that She created. Through the "Dragondane", a race that entered this universe through a "Worm Hole" , in the area of the sky near Wega ("near is a relative term as that are of the night sky is many thousands of light years across). These multi-dimensional Dragondane purportedly designed the modern Human in the genetic labs of Lemuria (MU) and Atlantis. You are therefore supposed to be of a "Galactic Nature". However, given the "freedom" of imagination, and culturally indoctrinated identity, you have become "perverted" into a "Man-Made" person. A person, whose very definition is the propaganda of many ambitious ruling tyrants, be they governments or theologians( The few who wish to rule the many). These  tyrants  of the Patriarch always make the cultural God, in their own image, and since the Christian Europeans built their empires, God is often portrayed as a White, full bearded Male. When in-fact the Creative of this Universe is Dark Energy and Dark Matter, a Dark Womb who conceives the purified light of crystalline matter (bio-protons or "blood protons"), via a "menstrual cycle" of which our world is made! Remember, before the Man made image of God, people all worshiped the Sun which makes sense, as you are a Star yourself! Just check out your aura and chakras!

Astrophysicist's know that not from White(yellow) Suns are we made, but from the Scarlet Frequency of Red Stars, are Carbon Atoms made in the processes of Red Suns! This is the "Blood Mother" of all carbon based life!
Therefore, to "Know Babylon" one is "Casting" their psyche into the Unseen multidimensional frequencies of a Red Sun! via a black hole in the Universal Collective Psyche!

To the ancients, who more spirit than body in consciousness, Stars are considered Intelligent Energy, and to cast oneself into a star, is to obliterate self. With Babylon , and only if the Scarlet one allows, one may, after obliteration of all that is known self, reincarnate as a purified  male psyche or"Husband"; a Prometheus, or a purified Female Priestess of the Star (One of her many sensual "Faces") and therefore an Oracle of the Star.
Past blog readers know that husband is an Anglo-Saxon word meaning,"keeper of her property", therefore, the Husband is a guardian of her/all life forms! From then on, the reincarnate she/ he knows the nature of the Divine Creative Feminine, and has given all "freedom of choice" to Her.

So if you don't mind, not being what you or anyone "thinks" you are, certainly, just jump into the inferno of Divine Sexuality, which is what a Star is! A Star is a "honeymoon suite" of the Divine She and Divine He; a place where Force and Form mate to become material. Who knows, you may become the much sought "Philosophers stone"  of Alchemy! You might even survive as the intense heated frenzy melts away all that She didn't create. Then again, you may not become anything but smoke. What will happen, is that Babylon "of the blood robes" decides what you are by her "understanding" of what your psyche and therefore, the form it operates, was originally decided to be. This union with the Scarlet Woman, requires absolute fearless focus and complete lack of "lust for result".  Your little star will melt away in her Greatness.
Now I know I have made a lot of logic jumps, but this is a short blog....so look it up!
As you can see, "Above all things Know thyself", can become quite complicated; for the Self we know, is not The Self at All! Plus, all Magick must be deeply considered before attempting the Abrahadabra!

Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper.

THE TAROT OF ELITHE THOTH PRINCESS OF WANDS:
In some tarot decks wands are called clubs but no matter what you call them wands are the fiery nature of Spiritual expansion and expression. The Princess of Wands, may also be a male person in some cards and is called a
    Page.

Since this card represents a combination of Fire and Earth (fire of earth card) it is truly an androgynous expression of mastery of internal blocks, obstacles and obstructions.

In the Thoth Tarot, the Princess is depicted as Fearless, spontaneous expression. She has the tiger by the tale! She is both magnetic and electric; a free and liberated spirit that resides in all of us as a divine inheritance.  Therefore the Princess of Wands is all about motion; "moving up" in new directions that fearless and energizing like her
sun wand that she holds high.

Wearing the Aries crown, the Princess has placed her old obstructions and fears on the  flaming altar of Spring (shown in the back ground) and offers them as a Spring sacrifice.

Totally exposed and seemingly defenseless she boldly expresses her new motion creating her own beauty by her essential vigor and force. She believes in the power statement of "Get over yourself and get on with you, impeccability is what we do"! She is a Solar Self that owns and runs her physical self which is her own power tool.  She understands that her physical body is a "Solar Wand", as it is made of crystalline star light and expresses her imagination into the material of Earth.
The Thoth Deck Ace of Wands, is The Primeval-Phallic representation of the Solar Wand, shown as a fiery club.(flames in shape of Yods), represents the essence or seed of the Alchemical Element-Fire. It is a solar-phallic outburst of flame from which lightning springs forth in multiple directions. If you were looking at the Sun, it would comparable to multiple solar flares.
Therefore, the Sun acts as a phallus by ejecting its "seed" into the dark womb of space-time.
It is the Earliest stage of Primordial matter, unwilled  and violent.

It is important to remember that, although the small cards are sympathetic to their numbered Sephiroth, they are not identical nor are they Divine Persons as are the Princesses. They are more like sub-elements and/or parts of "Blind Forces" whose ruling intelligence are of the Realm of Yetzirah, the Formulative World (Shemhamphorasch). What is astounding to note, if not confusing, is that each Major Arcana (Atu) has its own Tree of Life and hierarchy. Obviously this requires more investigation on the students part. As a student who teaches, I am still investigation this phenomena.

Again, THE PRINCESS OF WANDS: represents the Earthly part of Fire. She is the expression of the irresistible action of a combustible substance and rules from the Heavens from one quadrant around the North Pole (She=Magnetic Force). It is interesting to note, that the Female Force gives Form to the Fiery-electric male force, which in its primeval stage, as the Ace of Wands, is unwilled, unformed and undirected.  But like the Magnetic Field of Earth, giving both form and protection. The Princess controls the Solar rays, not unlike the Earth stops harmful Solar rays as seen by viewing the Aurora in the night sky but by also forming the "Sun's seed" into living beings in Her Ocean. Therefore it can be said that the Princess justifies the direction of this male Force. With flames of justice leaping from her forehead, and wearing  nothing as a sign that she is perfectly free to combine with her partner; she bears a wand crowned with the Disk of the Sun and leaping into "Yod" shape surging flame.

The Lords of Fire reside in the realm of Yetzirah, towards which she is leaping, thus she can be compared to the Virgin Priestess of the Lords of Fire. Further championing this fact, is the illustration of the flame topped Altar of Spring, in the left lower corner of this card.
The "seed of fire", The Ace of Wands" is now given a personal Willful expression in the Princess of Wands, as she is brilliant and daring. She has bridled passion, shown by grasping the Tiger by the Tail, and given it direction----where She goes-- willfully directed Passion goes.
Like Fire, Passion is her essential vigorous energy, that describes her beauty; "a terrible beauty" is seen as the force of her personality dazzles her beholder. Such force can also be expressed as love and anger, which is passionately charged into sudden forms of violence and implacability. Much like a Coral snake, stand back and enjoy its beauty, but don't try to posses it, as its anger is terminal.

Thus we have pegged the Princess of Wands as a personality/intelligence, that harnesses the Ace of Wands to Earth ( mate to the Solar phallus) and is volatile in nature.

    • She consumes all within Her Sphere.
    • She is ambitious, aspiring and full of enthusiasm and is often accused of being irrational.
    • Being the Earthly Part of Fire, She is likened to the Polynesian Volcano Goddess, due to her Volcanic Personality.
    • She is the Earthly fiery womb, rather than the Earthly Watery Womb.
    • If the Princess of Wands is ill dignified or thrown together with the Ace of Wands, we have

a person omnivorous in passion of whatever kind, entirely reckless in the means of obtaining gratification, and insatiable. It is notable, that She has given Will to the primeval violence of Male Force ...".by naming Him Husband." using His fiery flow  to impregnate her every action, as does Earth, the Sun.
The Qabalistic name, Yod Heh Vau Heh, often called the Hebrew name for God, is attributed to the Court Cards, where:

    1.  Yod, is attributed to Knights.
    2.  Heh, to Queens.
    3.  Vau =is attributed to Princes.
    4.  And the last Heh-is attributed to Princesses, the Earthly Manifestation, as the ultimate issue of the original Energy in its Completion, i.e. crystallization.
However, the Princesses also represent the counter-balancing and re-absorption of the Energy. They are also representatives of the Silence into which all things return.

The Princesses have no zodiacal attribution. Thus they are likened to "elemental" people who are recognized by their lack of all sense responsibility and whose moral qualities are very flexible. Therefore, they are sub-divided according to planetary predominance.
Of such persona Eli Levi wrote:" The love of the Magus for such creatures is insensate, and may destroy him."  Which it will, as lovers of the Primeval Scarlet Woman (Babalon= Crowley's spelling) have found out. She will consume you, as fire does a tree, only for you to rise again as a phoenix out of the ashes of  Universal consumptive passion; a form of Dragon is made manifest. Be very cautious young magi, She is spontaneous and unforgiving!  But if there is any of the Eternal Fire unconverted in you, and your Will is unshakable in unrequited-Passion's extreme heat, she'll make you blaze as a Star! If your sanity doesn't return expanded, then your will was flawed..  Needless to say, this Elemental Persona is not for the timid!

    The Shadow Tarot-Alphecca/Oracle:

Alphecca, is a bright star in the Northern Crown called the Corona Boreallis. Often called the "Diamond of the Crown" or the "Pearl of the Crown", as in the pearl in the crown of St. Marguerite.
[Marguerite is the French form of a female given name (English Margaret, Spanish Margarita) which derives from the Greek Μαργαρίτης meaning "pearl".]
This Shadow card represents the "Night-side" of the Oracle of Fire, that is the Princess of Wands. Therefore, it can be skried along with it as a talisman of fearlessness and oracular powers.

If you wish to build an talisman altar, the accompanying magical image is a hen, or crowned man.
The magical influences invoke will be, Chasity, love, goodwill, honor, dignity and artistic ability.
Magical tokens for the altar are, Topaz, rosemary, trefoil, and ivy.
When using the Shadow cards, Linda Falorio, states they are used to evoke waves of invaders from the stars, that have inserted themselves into the human life-wave throughout the eons via DNA, genetic mutation, psychic inter penetration, and spiritual per-fusion. She also states that, "The magickal emblems of the fixed stars of the ancients, plus the chaos planet Nemesis/Nibiru adumbrate the power of the court cards of the minor arcana."
The Power of which, has been explained in the Princess of Wands.

When the Thoth Princess of Wands or The Shadow Tarot-Alphecca/Oracle card is thrown  it implies that:

    • It is time to express one's sense of Freedom (from the Anglo-Saxon Free-doom--which means "I choose my own death".)
    •  Adventure, passion to be and initiating something new.
    • If you are male, it points to the anima within you that doesn't want to be limited to creating or obstructed by fear.
    • This is the symbol  of the ultimate free spirit within us all that overcomes fear and accelerates creative  purpose.
    • We are all "star seeds" and have a deep inner fiery nature that will not be subdued.
    • This inner passion is best channeled in life expanding creative ways and gestures!
    • An honorable, dignified person of self seeking and yet spiritual interest propelled by a brilliant mind.
    • Artistic and musical abilities, of a deeply intuitional nature.
    • Sometimes an extravagant person in love with fashion jewelry, and spending life in the pursuit of pleasure.
Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper.

The Shadow Series, Tarot Card Comparisons: The Prince of Wands & The Shadow Tarot - Aldebaran/Watcher

    $
    0
    0
THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth card, THE PRINCE OF WANDS, may seem a bit off kilter in this illustration, this is purposely done as its not a static card---it's a dynamic "rockin'" card! The Prince of Wands is the Principle of Mastery of inspired creativity! The Prince Of Wands, is the Sun Warrior not only does he represent swiftness, strength, brilliance and agility, he is the paradigm of dynamic mastery of unlimited creative expression from deep within; from the Universal Source.

The causally thrown reins over his wrist, symbolizes the inspired creativity that is not held back and is free to manifest and express itself. The Solar Lion (The Lion is a symbol for the Sun) freely pulling the Chariot, symbolizes self trust in letting the creative process flow, without restriction nor restraint.

The contained fire in the chariot (The Chariot is Female/Magnetic container), is focused concentration  and attention to manifest one's creativity that comes from above (The chariot is coming down from the heavens).

The Sun- Prince has a deep passion (open flower on chest-open heart chakra) for expressing one's own creativity.

The phoenix wand and cape expresses his commitment to expanding and liberating  himself through the creative process. The Phoenix wand is also "reincarnation", something the Mythological Greek God-Man Prometheus did  as he was chained to a Mountain (Earth) by His Father Zeus, for stealing His Fire (Spirit) and giving it to mankind. His reincarnation began every 7 days,as a great Vulture ate his liver every 7 days.
Of interest, is that the Great Vulture, is Wega (Star Vega) which is ancient Babylonia was the "messenger of light" and is also linked with the Goddess Hel-Aine. Then there are Seven Sisters or the Stars of the Pleiades system. The myth goes on to say that Prometheus was rescued by the Goddess Hathor, the Great Cow, which is Taurus in the Zodiac .
All of these Stars, have something to do with "those who from the sky came" (Sumerian-Annunaki) and I am sure an interesting connection can be made when connecting the Myth and these Stars. You'll have to do this on your own as, this blog is just too small of a vessel for such a great volume of information. For your study, the alien DNA of the Angels who impregnated the women of  mankind was supposed to come from the Orion/Sirius/Pleiades,section of the Night Sky. I find this quite interesting.
(Depending on the myth of the culture, one or all three! )

However, back to the Prince of Wands for when you are "channeling" information through a expanded crown chakra or lost for hours  during a creative process, you are experiencing The Prince of Wands that is inherent in all of us "Star spirits" who came to earth to use a human creative power body!

By just looking at this Thoth Deck Card, The Prince of Wands presents a powerful figure which definitely compliments this omnivorous personality.  He is often compared to the Archangel Michael, or Prometheus. Some say, Lucifer, as He is the Shadow Side of Archangel Michael. All of which point to the fact, he is a powerful personality of the Solar Self. He also could be a Annunaki coming down from the heavens on his "flaming chariot".

The Prince of Wands represents the Airy part of Fire (Conscious Spirit) and ever expanding and volatile force.
In the zodiac, he rules from the 21st degree of Cancer to the 20th degree of Leo.

When viewing the Qabalistic Thoth Tarot card, we see this warrior dressed in scale mail, with his vigorous arms uncovered which emphasizes  his great ability for activity. Therefore this card exudes swiftness, passion and power, from his winged lion helm,  all aflame, to his flaming lion drawn chariot. On his chest is the sigil of To Mega Therion and in his left hand he bears the wand of the 2nd Adept (in the ritual of 5 degrees=6 degrees of R.R. @ A.C.), the wand of power and energy while he controls the reins of the Lion steed (Leo and Sun) with his right. The sea of flames both radiant and salient, is his path of travel.

The Shadow Tarot Card, Aldebaran, carries on this fascination with Hathor (Hastur-in Sumerian) and Taurus. The Star Aldebaran was called the "Eye-Star of Osiris" and is a pale rose colored star marking the Taurus Bull's left eye. This Red Giant star was considered one of the 4 "Watchers of the Heavens", which later became the "Archangel stars and then the "four horseman of the Apocalypses". Therefore, Aldebaran was considered the Archangel Michael, the "Watcher of the East."

In 3044 B.C.E., the Star Aldebaran, marked the exact zero point of the Vernal Equinox, in the constellation Taurus. At that time, this made Aldebaran the "The Leading Star of Stars", and all star longitudes were measured from Aldebaran or its opposite, Antares; "The Watcher of the West". Antares, marked the zero point of the Fall Equinox c. 3052 B.C.E., signifying the Archangel Oriel.  The Archangel  Gabriel was considered as the Star Fomalhaut which was "Watcher of the South" and marked the winter solstice in c. 2582 B.C.E. The Archangel Raphael,  was considered to be the Star Regulus, the "Watcher of the North" and was the zero point of the Summer Solstice c. 2345 B.C.E.   Fascinating for here we have more mythologized references to "Those who from the Sky came", and supposedly mated their DNA to create Homo Sapiens (modern mankind) for their mining skills.

By skrying The Shadow Tarot, Aldebaran, one should be able to link their psyche to a frequency in the Divine Collective Universal Unconscious, and thus contacting these Archetypes. When building a Talsmanic Alter for skrying use:
For magickal images, use a "Flying man" or God, which the Thoth Tarot Card shows.
Magickal influences attributed to Aldebaran are riches and honor.
Magickal Tokens are Carbuncle, ruby, and milk thistle.
As an Archetype his morality is swiftness and strength,  (not the foolishness of "good and bad") reacting with impulsiveness  to outside influences.
    1. When reacting to trifles, he can become undecided because he views them unimportant and not flamboyant enough for a heated argument, in which he not only excels but also enjoys.
    2. His volatility demands volatile displays of opinion, even if he rarely believes "whole heartedly" in such.
    3. He just loves stating a vigorous proposition for the sake of vigor!
    4. He can argue with vehemence both sides of any question which tends to make him slow to make up his mind thoroughly on any subject.
    5. His sense of justice is well made, but he feels that justice isn't really achieved in the intellectual world, showing a noble and generous character.
    6. Since embellishment is often vigorous, he loves to "tell tall tales" and his boasting can attain great heights, while slyly laughing internally at himself and the listening audience.
    7.  Some may proclaim he is a liar, but in truth he just loves to entertain both himself and others, while not taking the world of man to seriously. Thus he is often endeared to elaborate pranks, and even horrendous bouts of ridicule on some inoffensive nobody, only to give the shirt of his back to the same target, if needed.
    8. He really doesn't even take himself to seriously; he just loves Vigorous passion!
    9. His pride is great and his scorn for meanness and pettiness is even greater.
    10. With fanatical endurance and massive doses of courage, he will fight the great fight against all odds and over the long haul, he will win because of his enormous capacity for work; a work which he exercises for its own sake; loving the journey more than the goal.
    11. His haughty contempt for the world at large coexists with his profound respect for everyman and Woman, as a Star of individual and rare beauty.
    12. This type of Powerful, swift, vigorous and generous personality holds terror for those who wish to hide amongst the herd and he will often incur enemies who talk malicious gossip behind his back rather than face the Lion before them. In fact many of his "enemies" will never have met him but as in all fear based minds, hearing about him was enough terror for them.
    If ill dignified;
    1. The Prince of Wands is antithesis of the above qualities, and shows great cruelty, indifference and is often sadistic.
    2.   He will show tenancies for laziness, intolerance, prejudice all because these are qualities of the idle mind and saves the trouble of thought.
    3. He would also be a great boaster and a coward, who talks behind others back.
However, such a powerful spirit is usually well dignified and  with a sincere heart he works to benefit those below. He really enjoys intercourse with people, and loves to hear them laugh.

THE TAROT OF ELINow we venture into understanding the minor arcana of both the Thoth and The Shadow tarot decks. The Major or Trump, were the Keys (previous blogs) and the Court Cards were the Archetype personalities and now the Four elements of Alchemy, the minor cards.

The Thoth Minor Arcana consists of 40 cards each of the 4 suites is numbered 1-10; wands, cups, swords, and discs. These four suites show us the four ways that we perceive anything. All human awareness is filtered either through our:
    1) intuition/spirit (wands),
    2) emotions (cups),
    3) thoughts (swords),
    4) the five physical senses (disks).

Without a stimulus being received through one or more of these four perceptive mechanisms, we remain unaware of its presence.
The Ace of Wands is the essence of the Spirit World of Creativity; the time of Spring and the space of South.

The Ace of Wands represents Spiritual self-realization, awakening and is known as the symbol of the uncontainable life-force that's is with-in and all around us. This Torch of Life is accompanied by lightning bolts that represent the awakening to spiritual truth and authenticity to who you are.

In spirit, and/or psyche, Truth is made manifest and therefore, who you are is the Divine Spirit and its essences of Fire/Water/Earth and Air of Life! This five element presence is often shown as the "Ascended Man" or the pentagram.

In the Qabalistic Tree of Life, Kether is the Crown, the Observer, the Dark Energy, that Is.  It is the Unknowable God of many religions, and yet as many of us know, religion is not God. Kether is the Idea of the Big Bang, the point, the Singularity.
The Aces are also essences, so they too are not easily explained.
The Four Aces are related to Kether, thus they are representative of the Pure Forms of Energy that are elaborated by the other cards of the Tarot Deck and/or Sephiroth. The consecutive elaboration of the Numbers (Sephiroth), are Spiral (Spiritual) Forces being woven together to form the Harmonic that is the World of bio-protons. A World that is 96.6% invisible to us, as it is mostly space, but that .4% visible light spectrum/ material makes us believe we are Here! Which is a marvel, since we all are a Frequency of Mind/Psyche that is self aware ("I" sight) through making images of itself in the Divine Collective Unconscious. Therefore we are "everywhere and No-where", another term for infinity.

Even though we see little by physical eyesight, by combining the colors of the visible spectrum of electromagnetic light, we see that different combinations, make different color changes such as blue combined with red makes purple, etc. These combinations are the necessary diversity of creation and can be called harmonies of woven Light; of which all things are made. Therefore we are the Weavers (Wyrd), or Spirits (Psyche/souls) who weave light into their own form. Quantum physics already declares you a "cloud of electrons", that observes itself into being! In truth, Spirits and Gods are the same thing. You therefore are a "dying god", a Bael (The Shadow Tarot) , who rules its own presence by declaring "I AM ME'!

To a Qabalist, the numbered Sephiroth are either Force-Male or Form-Female and even both depending on the Masculine expressive and Female receptive aspects of a particular Sephira.

Each Ace is unique and is distinct in its degree of density and in its ability to do work as a specific function in the One Energy. Thus, each Ace is the Seed of an Alchemical Element.

We think we know what seeds are, but when we look at one, we don't see the Tree it represents. We just "kind of" know. That is also our conceptions of Kether, we just "kind of Know" that it is infinite, but then infinite is a human concept and Kether can't be known.....so this gets a bit tricky. So open mindedness is required and the courage to keep asking questions until answers emerge. The Influence of Kether is all around us ("The Kingdom of God is all around you, but men do not see it": From the Gnositic Text-The Gospel of Didymos Judas Thomas), we just have to trust it, the No-Thing, knows us even if we know it or not. Obviously we exist, and we are a combination of many factors, some unknown to us, so it is easy to trust the subtle. Knowledge built us, and that knowledge is ours to sensually understand.

    THE ACE OF WANDS:
The Ace of Wands represents the Force of Spirit as the Alchemical Element of Fire. It is the Radical or Root Force of the Fiery Motion that Moves all things. To those of us who need a pattern, the Four Aces are said to be placed at the North Pole of the Universe, where they revolve and govern the revolution  of the Universe. To a Qabalist the Four Aces are the connecting link between Yetzirah (Formative World) and the Material plane.

The Ace of Wands represents the outpouring of energy in the Universe. Therefore it is the root of the Powers of Fire and is the influence of Kether (Dark energy) on the level of pure Spirit (frequency of I AM). It is represented as the Hebrew letter Yod.Yod is related to Kether, not only is it isolated and self contained but it is also the formative graphic root for all other letters of the Hebrew Alphabet. Moreover, the Yod is Phallic. It is the Male-Fire (electric) that rushes out toward the Female-Water (Magnetic).
The Thoth Deck Ace of Wands shows Ten Yods emanating from a primitive burning club. This represents the Primal force behind the entire Tree of Life, that is composed of 10 Sephiroth and their connecting paths of energy transference. The entire Tree is a glyph of  the Power of Fire, i.e. of Spirit. The scholarly student of Qabalah will find that the letter, Shin (Maternal Fire) and Yod are often used interchangeably when referring to the Tree of Life.

The Shadow Tarot Card-Bael, is called the Spirit of Primordial Fire. Linda Falorio has chosen this Solar-Phallic God of the Phoenicians and the "Lord" among the Semites and considered to be the consort of Astarte, whose favors he shared with Yamm, the Lord of Death(From the Hindu Yama). In fact, every god was Baal or Bael. The Phoenician colonies of Spain introduced the Title (Baal) into Ireland where the title became the Irish  Bel or Bial, Lord of Beltain. Old testament Jews worshiped many baalim as past or present consorts of the Goddess Zion.

From Wikipedia: Baal (/ˈbl/ bayl; sometimes spelled BaelBaël (French), Baell) is in 17th century goetic occult writings one of the seven princes of Hell. The name is drawn from the Canaanite deity Baal mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the primary god of the Phoenicians.
While his Semitic predecessor was depicted as a man or a bull, the demon Baal was in grimoire tradition said to appear in the forms of a man, cattoad, or combinations thereof.

Before the priesthood of Yahweh manage to wipe out these Old Testament baalim god cults, some of the baalim where:

    1. Sin, the Moon god of the Sinai.
    2. Molech (Melek) the "king" and sun god of Tyre.
    3. Horus, the Egyptian Golden Calf whose image was made by Aaron.
    4. Baal-Peor, a phallic "Lord of the Cleft" (Yoni).
    5. Nehushtan, the "flying fiery Serpent" of lightning, made by Moses (2 Kings 18:4).
    6. Chemosh, the Babylonian sun god Shamash, incarnate in Samson (Shams-on, the sun).
    7. Melchizedek, the god of Salem.
    8. El, or Elias, thesun god Helios to whom Jesus called from the cross.
    9. Joseph, Jacob, and Israel, who were not men but tribal gods.

There are more, and the list is longer but this will give you an idea of where the "demons" come from. Much like history is written by the victors, demons are made by the conquering religions.
Nearly all the gods, where part of the "dying god" (DNA) myths when they were manifested and then became sacrifices.   So the word Baal may have come from the Hindu/Sanskrit Bala or Bali, meaning a sacrificial offering.
If you are interested in more info on Baal, get the book: THE WOMAN'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MYTHS AND SECRETS, by Barbara G. Walker.

In the Shadow Tarot Card-Bael, Linda notes him as a first principle spirit in order as  King Solomon (means, Sun God of On, a Jewish version of Ra of Heliopolis.) bound them.  Therefore, Bael is declared "King of Hel" (Hel's husband) and rules in the east. His seal is Gold and one calls upon Bael to become wise and achieve the power of  invisibility.

WHEN THE ACE OF WANDS OR THE SHADOW TAROT CARD-BAEL IS THROWN DURING A DIVINATION:

    • It signifies a deep burning spiritual desire for self discovery and realization.
    • Trans-formative High Energy for new beginnings.
    • The first impulse and passion to begin.
    • Creative energy and initiative, to begin new business ventures, new understandings, new foundations, where creative energy is flowing with plenty of potential and ambition to succeed.
    • The burning flame of Dragon Power, A balancing and increasing in Potency of Inner Fire . The Souring of Kundalini energy, "the Dragon within".
    • The dawning of desire, passion, enthusiasm and creativity.
    • The Power of Masculine fire, with its connotations of heat, vigor, contest, aspirations, enlightenment, and avidity to consume.
    • the overwhelming power of Lust to Be that vibrates at the core of all manifestation.
    • Pure Power to create.
    • It indicates that you have  awakened to the uncontainable and irrepressible inherent Master/Being within and for the period of 1 year (all aces represent a period of 1 year) you will find it difficult to edit, rehearse or hold back any parts of who you are.
    • The clear seeing that accompanies this power of fire  will often burn out the negatives, blocks, obstacles or obstructions that might prevent you from actualizing your full potential within the fire sign months (Leo, Aries and Sagittarius ) or with fire sign people during the next 12 months.
    • Often the Ace of Wands represents a gift of strength, power, great sexual energy, and the love of living. This is a powerful flow that can also tear apart, to rebuild and as fire, it can burn to ashes the past to rebuild the new.

The Shadow Series; Tarot Card Comparisons- Thoth Tarot- 2 of Wands/Dominion & The Shadow Tarot 2 of Pirmordial Fire/Beleth

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Tarot, Two Of Wands represents the state of dominion, balance, and integration. We are now well into the Minor Arcana, which consists of 40 cards which show the various ways the Major Arcana (22-keys of the Trump) are experienced in day-to-day living.  The Major Arcana are states of Universal Consciousness, and the Minor Arcana are how the Universal expresses itself as and individual consciousness.
The Two of Wands shows two Dorjes (Tibetan symbols of Lightning/power). The symbol of crossed Dorjes represents, optimum balance of energy, the sense of sovereignty and being comfortable with your domain of Life and Death, which can be called Personal Unified sacred power.

When this card is thrown, it represents you coming into your own power from your deep spiritual center that is a balance of Male electric (the rods) and female magnetic (The Khadroma-Tibetan angels/demons- heads on the Dorjes).

The Khadroma (Pronounced Kha-Dro-Ma) are "The Tibetan-Angelic Entities of the "Highest State of Female" often called "Sky walkers" or Hindu Dakinis. They are also the source of the Crowley sought, "Scarlet Woman" (Babylon): the Blood Mother of Human Life.  Interestingly, in a profound way, Angelic Blood Mothers, could refer to the Feminine of "Those who from the Sky came"; the Sumerian Annunaki, who through genetic manipulation (The combination of Alien Egg and human sperm) produced the human race on the land of MU (Hyperboria). The  western Scarlet Woman, Tibetan Khadroma and the Annunaki of Sumer, and the Hindu Dakini, all seem to refer to the same race of "Alien beings" and the Red Suns in the area of the night sky that they purportedly came from.   Read past blogs for further information on The Scarlet Woman (Queen of Wands).

The The horse heads on the Khadroma-crowns symbolize spiritual power and the serpents at the base of the arrow heads, represent the regenerative power and the healing that comes from this power balance.

Astrologically this card represents Mars in Aries. Mars being the red planet of vitality, energy, and assertion: Aries is also the astrological symbol of exploration and pioneering.

    From the Golden Dawn Texts:

The four Deuces symbolize the Powers of the King and Queen; first uniting and initiating the Force, but before the Prince and Princess are thoroughly brought into action. Therefore do they generally imply the initiation and fecundation of a thing.

To reiterate: the key to all systems, as well as, the Universal Pattern is the only Reality, we know as Chokmah (Wisdom) on the Tree of Life. Kether is not or naught, and as thus it is not reality. When we cause reality, it is of our beliefs and opinions, so I often call Chokmah the Real...for it is not of us, but is the will to Force before us.  Our beginning is in Chokmah (Will to Force), the idea of us, and the Will to Form all begin there. Thus we are Dreaming ourselves into and out of willed existence.

THE Qabalistic Thoth- TWO OF WANDS-DOMINION:

Also called the Lord of Dominion whose zodiacal attribution is Mars in Aries. The Angels of the Decan are Vehooel and Deneyal.
This is Chokmah influencing the World of Pure Spirit known as Atziluth.
Again we are trying to explain the unexplainable which is the Supernal Triangle and/or The World of Atziluth.  Chokma the second Sephiroth in the Supernal Triangle, is Pure Force, without need of result. Which to many is impossible to realize for most of us exercise willful force to reach goals. We don't realize that will is the Power behind Spirit, and Force is the power behind Life. The combination of Spirit and Force is the  Spiraling of Energy into motions that build dimensions of I AM. But before frequencies are stimulated into being, there was Will to Force and then Will to Form. To some Being may be form, but in fact, Being to a Qabalist is a "immortal state or entity of Conscious Energy".

In Chokmah is Being. The First Being---The All Father God who has no form until She-Binah "wills him to Form".  Here in the Two of Wands is that joining of the Two states of  Will That is "He" and "She", Will to Force and Will to form. This is Power in an unbridled state, for Mars is exalted in Aries as the fiery Mars rules the fiery sign Aries. Here Fire, i.e. Spirit, is pure Primal, and brilliant, warm and bright. The Dorjes, Tibetan symbols for Thunderbolts, are shown crossed on this card, emphasizing the power and harmony of this card, Will to Force and Will to From are in balance here, The Dominion  of Spirit has become a domain . From now on we know the Male Force of Will is Will to Force, and the Female Force of Will is Will to Form.

There is no lust of result in this Pure Will to Force and Form, made of the harmony of "He" and "She" aspects of the One Divine Being.  There is no perverted "battle of the sexes" where one wishes to rule the relationship over the other.  There is only the Union of Wisdom (Chokma) and Understanding (Binah), that gives birth to Knowledge and all creation. Here, Energy is initiating a current of Force, that Spiral of Energy from which all comes.

Often when the word Harmony is mentioned, one thinks of peace and quiet bliss, but this Two of Wands represents the Violent Destructive Force that initiated the "Big Bang", totally without resistance in and of itself but destructive of  the bliss of the past, none the less. Destruction of the past is the First Motion of Creation.  A Singularity exploded  "outward" to form the building blocks of our Universe. The Thoth Card- 2 of Wands represents the force of Mars in Aries which is a Powerful Gathering of Force to deconstruct for reconstruction; a gathering of Will to Force and Will to Form.

The Shadow Tarot, 2 of Primordial Fire, uses the name of Beleth, the thirteenth Spirit in the Order that Solomon bound them; who is a supposedly, mighty and terrible king of Hell.  Hell being a misogynistic- Patriarchal-Christian propaganda definition, using the Norse Goddess of Life and Death, i.e. Hel, as a root word. While the word Solomon, which meant, "Sun God of On", a Jewish version of the Egyptian Sun God Ra of Heliopolis (Stanton, 67)- Makes all of this Christian based demonology suspect.

From the free online encyclopedia Wikipedia:
In demonologyBeleth also spelled BiletBilethByleth and Bilith is a mighty and terrible king of Hell, who has eighty-five legions of demons under his command. He rides a pale horse, and all kinds of music is heard before him, according to most authors on demonology and the most known grimoires. According to Pseudomonarchia Daemonum HamNoah's son, was the first in invoking him after the flood, and wrote a book on Mathematics with his help.
When appearing he looks very fierce to frighten the conjurer or to see if he is courageous. The conjurer must be brave, and holding a hazel wand in his hand must draw a triangleby striking towards the South, East, and upwards, then commanding Beleth into it by means of some conjurations.
If he does not obey, the conjurer must rehearse all threatens the conjurations said and then Beleth will obey and do all that he is commanded. But the conjurer must be respectful and do homage unto Beleth due to his rank, and hold a silver ring in the middle finger of the left hand against his face, as it is the use of hellish kings and princes before Amaymon.
Beleth gives all the love of men and women he is commanded until the conjurer is satisfied.

Interestingly, "...gives all the love of men and women he is commanded until the conjurer is satisfied" is also what the Female Goddess/Demon Lilith is said to do, maybe that is why Beleth is also called Bilith?

By summoning Beleth, the conjurer can win all the sexual love that they desire. Once again, suggesting that Beleth is a Masculine Lilith. With the same characteristics, Lilith shows up all "scarey" looking, as in the Sumerian stone depiction of Lilith until one honors her beauty then she becomes all sultry and sexual beauty and sexually satisfies either the male or female conjurer.

In truth, She is a Kha-Dro-Mah, and can show up as a Bane-She (Death) or a Lovely Dakini (Life). It all depends on the one who is conjuring.

When the Two of Wands-Dominion, or The Shadow Tarot-2 of Primordial Fire/Beleth is thrown during a reading:

For the querent (the one seeking a reading),

    • This card suggests that in the next two weeks, or two months, you will have the energy, like Mars, to move in new directions like Aries, from a place of integration, balance, harmony and spiritual power.
    • One has attained a certain amount of integral balance, harmony and dominion within, that enables them to expand and liberate their life from past imbalances.
    • Illumination.
    • The querent is experiencing the will to move forward in a new direction. From a place of undaunted will, of full power, and balanced dominion.
    • Contemplating new ideas without lust of result; loving the journey and unconcerned with the goal.
    • What once was unfocused energy is now becoming clear and polarized.
    • Affirming a new self identity.
    • A partnership of two powers, opposite yet reflecting each other.
    • The Self confidence that only comes from affirming and approving of one's self.
    • A senses of accomplishment without any feeling of satisfaction.

The Shadow Series; Tarot Card Comparisons. Thoth Tarot 3 of Wands & The Shadow Tarot 3 of Primordial Fire

    0
THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Tarot Three of Wands-Virtue, represents the Spiritual Integrity, Honesty, that is the Virtue of Spirit. Virtue is the effective potent force necessary for  putting thoughts into action. This is the"holy balance of the Three" that defines and clarifies the identity. In this balance of three (Spirit, Conscious and subconscious) you see yourself more clearly.

Virtue/integrity, is the conscious state of heart, mind and physical action working in concert with each other (seen as three lotus bosoms in united purpose).  Virtue is where I AM ME is a dynamic creative action rather than a "wanna-be" dream.

The sign of the Sun, above and Aries below, represents the astrological sign of the Sun in Aries, symbolizing radiant dynamic energy moving in new directions but from a foundation of virtue.

The communion of mind, heart and physical action, is a holy mass of dynamic creativity that "does unto another, what you would have done to you"...a virtuous  motion that assists life in its ever-forward expansion.

Qabalist know that Binah, the Third Sephiroth of the Wholly Three (Kether, Chokma, and Binah) is an aspect of your own Energetic Unconscious. The prefix "Un" often tends to make one think of something "less than" consciousness; nothing can be farther from the Truth. Here "Un" just designates the Unseen.  This does not mean less in anyway, anymore than unseen H-bombs are less powerful than the one on your doorstep.

Consciousness, itself, is a child of the Collective Unconscious of the Universe, and that Mother of consciousness, is Binah.  In the Great Sea of Imagination, your original image floats in the amniotic fluid of "will to form". Binah is the Great Will to form, of the Sea of Unconscious.
The Texts of the Golden Dawn said it best:
" In Binah is a thick darkness which yet veileth the Divine Glory in which all colors are hidden, wherein mystery and depth and silence, and yet, it is the habitation of the Supernal Light. There The Supernal Triad complete. And the Sphere of its Operation is Shabbathi, or rest, and it giveth forms and similitudes unto chaotic matter and it ruleth the sphere of action of the planet Saturn. And Jehovah Elohim is the perfection of Creation and Life of the World to Come.  And the Archangel is Tzaphqiel,  the Prince of the Spiritual Strife against Evil and the name of the Angels is Arahim, the strong and mighty Ones who are also called the Order of Thrones."

"The order of Thrones" are represented as the Four Queens of the Tarot. who are united with the Four Kings; their Husbands.

Generally, the four Threes, represent  the realization of the Action (conception) of the Prince having been conceived and  Symbolized as the central figure on each 3 card. Action is definitely launched for good or evil.

Thus in the Three of Wands the Prince of Wands conception is shown as central flames radiating outward form the Supernal Union of the Triad.

THE THOTH THREE OF WANDS-VIRTUE, is also called the Lord of Established Strength.Well noted, as the Sun is in Aries here. There is great power where the Sun illuminates Aries, the Cardinal Sign of Fire often called Mars.
The Three of Wands also represents Binah's influencing the World of Pure Spirit (Atziluth or the Supernal Triangle).
On the 3 of Wands, three crossed Wands indicate the balance of Chokmah, Binah and the birth of Tiphareth, the Sun (son), and/or The Prince.  Growth begins and is shown on the card as the unfolding lotus blossoms opening to the Warm and Bright Energy of Aries.
The Three of Wands also represents the Three Pillars of the Qabalist Tree of life, as one Wholeness.
To an astrologer, the entry of the Sun into the sign of Aries, heralds spring.
Thus the blazing colors of the Card show great strength for individual expression (central Wand). Here also is absolute power that can corrupt absolutely, thus egocentricity, pride and conceit are lurking dangers. Yet we have Virtue here, the key to Spiritual integrity and honesty.

The Nightside card of the Dayside Three of Wands is called the Three of Primordial Fire/Agares.
This Shadow Tarot Card promotes the Old god Agares, as a christian made demon who was also known as Agarus. His sigil is the centerpiece of this card.

    Agares

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Agares from Collin de Plancy«Dictionnaire Infernal», Paris, 1863.Agares (also AgaratAgaros, or Agarus) is a demon described in demonological grimoires such as the Livre des Esperitz (as Agarat), the Pseudomonarchia Daemonumthe Lesser Key of Solomon (or Lemegeton), and the Dictionnaire Infernal as a duke "under the powers of the east," an "old man, riding upon a crocodile, and carrieng a hawke on his fist," who teaches languages, stops and retrieves runaway persons, causes earthquakes, and grants noble titles. The Lemegeton and the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum state that he commands him 31 legions of demons, while the Livre des Esperitz (which describes him simply as an old man) gives him 36. The Book of the Office of Spirits places him (as Agaros) under Oriens and describes him as an old man riding a cockatrice, sans hawk. The Grimoire of Pope Honorius (which refers to him as Agarus) is more brief, omitting the crocodile and hawk, and omitting his functions beyond languages and titles. The Grand Grimoire features him as a subordinate of Lucifuge Rofocale. According to Rudd, Agares is opposed by the Shemhamphorasch angel Jelial. Sloane MS 3824 mentions Agares, throughout invocations to summon spirits that guard treasure, and in the "Experiment of Agares" meant to draw him into a crystal.
The traditional image of Agares is shown as an old horned one with a Goss Hawk and riding a crocodile.
His opposition as a Angel of the Shemhmphorasch, is Jelial, shown in illustration with his Jewish title and all bright and Daylight shiny.
Traditionally, in demonology, one calls on Agares to cause:

    1. Others to runaway.
    2. To bring back runaways.
    3. To cause earthquakes.
    4. To teach languages, as Agares is supposed to know them all.

Remember: About frightful images. You can mentally project yourself on the Astral plane, and build yourself and energy body, to consciously travel the astrals in, and design it anyway you like. From Dragon, to butterfly, you can transform yourself as you wish. That is true also with the "old ones" from the many dimension through which we came and who often make themselves frightful to either be A) left alone or B) test the knowledge of the summoner.  (The Tree of Life is an image of your Soul's dimensional  travels into more and more condensed manifestation).
We are Beautiful Monsters, who because of "Freedom of Choice" ("Freedom to be") can be even greater malignancy than the worst of Demons, (Demons don't practice genocide or use WMD's) or the greatest of Angels. We are the Solar Consciousness, or Living Suns of the Divine Creative. We've invaded this world ("angels that fell to earth"), made and possessed genetically modified bodies that we call Homo-sapiens, and are the Lords and Ladies, by inheritance, of all other dimensional beings in this Universe. We can command anything with the Willful expression of "I AM...."  as electrons form to our observation (proven by Physics).  We are the Divine Child, so really, don't be afraid of demons, when in fact, you are their rulers! Follow the rituals, and be as a god, your will is your way in life!

When the Thoth Three of Wands -Virtue or The Shadow Tarot 3 of Primordial Fire/Agares is thrown during a reading:

    • * The querent is experiencing the conjoining of Body, Mind and Spirit.
    • * Putting thoughts into action.
    • * Keeping on with present activities for they are conceived and will soon flourish into manifestation.
    • Clarity, where you are seeing yourself honestly.
    • Established strength in enterprises where collaboration will favor the querent.
    • Radiating intention, understanding the Will of Fire and increasing energy to birth ideas.

    • This is a very active card of powerful direction, so it requires us to understand that Virtue is not chastity,  nothing so obviously prejudicial, but rather "Always being True to Thine own self.". Here there is a warning not to compromise your passion for others.

Be as Spring and flower in your own inner fire! Clarify your identity and " Above all things, Know thyself!"
Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper!

When this card is thrown it indicates that in the next 3weeks or 3months, it is important to operate from a place of virtue/integrity as you move forward in sunny new directions. This could also mean that you should wait until your heart, mind and body are aligned and share clarity of purpose before you act in or handle your relationships with the Aries people in your life; Aries -March 21 to April 21. The state of natural clarity is represented in this card by the crystalline structure in the back ground. While the flames represent the ability to await the natural unfolding of things to come. Inside all of us is the "inner fire of balanced integrity", it is an inheritance of our Divinity, however, the smoke of denial has dimmed the flames of I Am Me, as a spiritual expression of Life self awareness into the slave thinking of I Want To be me. When this card is thrown, it means it is time to act as a True You and not what others think you must do.

THE TAROT OF ELI The Thoth Qabalistic Tarot-4 of Wands-Completion
reminds us that in order to energetically move forward, we must at first complete what we have already put into motion. The Four of Wands is in the form of a "medicine Wheel", and therefore is a symbol of spiritual and holistic completion so something is being completed, establishing a desire to begin something new.

Being representative of Eastern mandalas or Native American medicine wheels, this card also astrologically represents Venus in Aries; the astrological sign of Venus symbolized on top and the astrological sign of Aries symbolized on the bottom. Also in the wheel itself are the Aries Ram and the Venus Doves, all characteristic of completion and new beginnings in the form of a closed circle.

Therefore this is a Qabalistic card of wholeness and individualization that represents, simultaneously,  completion of past and initiating a new future.

Venus symbolizes emotional desire to move in new directions while Aries represents a sense that there has been completion or consummation of projects, issues or relationships before moving forward.   To repeat, Chesed is Mercy and the 4th Sephiroth on the Qabalistic sigil, the Tree of Life. Chessed is known in Qabalah as the Demiurge or "Lesser Creator" and gives rise to "form and light".  This also makes Chesed both masculine and feminine, as Light is the expression of masculine and form is the receptivity of the Feminine,  Thus, Chesed and Geburah are really "two sides to one coin".  So here we compare Chesed-Mercy and Geburah-Severity or Strength, to the two arms of a human, as one gives and one takes away; For we are the Image of the Demiurge!

    THE Thoth-FOURS:

The Four Fours all bring perfection, realization, completion,  and making a matter settled and fixed.
The four of Wands is no exception, for here is the Lord of Perfected Work. Attributed to the Four of Wands-Completion, is the planet Venus in the sign of Aries. The angels of the Decan are Nanael and Nithal

The Four of Wands is Chesed influencing the realm of Atziluth; the Realm of Pure Spirit. Here, the swift active force of Aries- Mars, is activating the Love and Luxury of Venus.

This placement in an astrological reading would be implying a warm, brief romance, or warm fleeting feelings. As shown by the Classical painting of the Goddess Venus and the God Mars. Lovers, true, but in Tarot, we must be aware of the Placement on the Tree of Life.  Besides romantic feelings, there is a combination of the zodiacal and the Sephirotic meanings  to consider.
First and foremost is to realize that the zodiac is the mundane Chakra of Chokma, as it appears in the lowest of Four Worlds; Assiah-the active world.  Thus, the Fours represent the totality of that which the planetary signs refer. Venus in Aries, being the outer attribute of the card while the inner attribute is Chesed forces, the pure four ( Fire, Air, Water, Earth), in the world of Yod-Fire.

So what we have in the Four of Wands is Completion of the process initiated by the Upper Trinity, or Supernal Triangle. Here, the manifestation promised by "Will to Form" (Binah) has taken place in Jupiter-Chesed; The Father who resides below the Abyss. Thus this is a dominating influence on all the following cards (5-10) and is the highest idea that can be understood intellectually of the element it represents. Chesed is the Demiurge, who is the First Sephira below the Abyss, making  him the Lord of all Manifested Active  Power.  The original will of Chokmah-Wisdom and Binah-Understanding is now manifest in the Sephira Chesed- Mercy and is now a solid system such as ; Order, Law and Government.

Venus in Aries, also removes some of the volcanism of Aries-Mars, and indicates that one can't establish one's work without tact and gentleness.
When examining The Four of Wands-Completion, we see the wands headed by Rams, both signs of Chesed (Father-God Amoun-Ra) and Aries, ending in the Dove of Venus.
    1. The completed and limitation of the original work is shown by the yellow rimed  circle.
    2. To show balance, the four flames are doubled, suggesting the feminine and masculine balance of the Fours.
    3. Also being Four, there is no attempt to expand, the original will is complete, so entropy will soon begin. From order to disorder, is the flow of energy in this universe, as accorded by the 2nd law of Thermodynamics.

THE SHADOW TAROT-4 OF PRIMORDIAL FIRE/VASSAGO:
Is the third Spirit in order that Solomon bound them, and is a good natured "Mighty Prince of the Damned".

    Vassago
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Vassago (also VasagoUsagoo) is the third Goetic demon described in the Lesser Key of Solomon (including Thomas Rudd's variant) as a prince "of a good nature" (despite being a demon) and of the "same nature as Agares". He rules twenty-six legions of spirits, and is summoned to tell magicians of past and future events, and locate lost objects. He is one of the few spirits found in the Lesser Key of Solomon but not in Johann Weyer's Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. Vassago is mentioned in the Book of the Office of Spirits as Usagoo, appearing as an angel, "just and true in all his doings," with the powers of inciting the love of women and revealing hidden treasures, in addition to ruling twenty spirits. Sloane MS 3824 mentions Vassago in invocations to summon spirits that guard treasure, and in the "Experiment of Vassago" and the "Experiment of Agares," both intended to capture the named spirits in crystals. According to Rudd, Vassago is opposed by the Shemhamphorasch angel Sitael.Murderer and vampire-themed cult leader Rod Ferrell used "Vassago" as a "vampire name" and burned a V representing this alias onto his victims.
As explained in the last sentences of the Wikipedia explanation of Vassago, many who despise the hypocrisy of organized religions, use the demonic descriptions of "alien beings", that is supplied by these religions, as an excuse to "do unto others what they don't wish done to them".

Like I have stated before, all alien beings I have met, Call me Lord, and don't show up in frightening images as they know I won't shudder in fear over their visage, for I am a far more Horrible Beauty than they. Even Anbu (Anubis) shows up as an attractive female rendition of Isis, rather than a jackal faced being (Showing once again the Goddess of Life, is also in charge of Death).
You see, I know we are the Gods of the "Firmament", we are not only the "image of God" we are the inheritors of all that was and will be created. No daemon stands before us; all I have met, demand mercy and show me only willingness to go about their work. In truth, we are the Beautiful Monster's of this Universe and we must learn discrimination, in order to be worthy of our Freedom of Choice, that changes reality. So, before you decide on a Shadow Journey into the Divine Collective Unconscious, of which you are a functioning Self Aware Power, clean up your Act!

Remember  that you are the Master of Life and Death, over the very animal form you make live (breath), and the Earth Herself! Your "Spirit" (Spiral Entity) has invaded from the Stars (Sirius and Orion systems) and daemonically possessed the life on this planet. The Very Elemental intelligences here, serve you! Get to know them! But before you try, "ABOVE ALL THINGS, KNOW THYSELF"!
I, the Fiery Daemon that operates the human form I claim as my Temple on Earth (and many before), knows I AM Me and also knows that all that I see, is another way to be Me (even electrons)! Eli Serabeth ( Is Hermetic Qabalistic Hebrew and means Temple of the Fiery Daemon) and as a Divine Child I have claimed dominion over all that IS, which is my inheritance from the Great Collective Psyche that the Universe is an image of; I am Imagination (I-Magi-Nation)! I am Beautiful, (Tiphareth, the 6th Sephiroth of the Sun which is Our Womb/"Worm-hole" to the physical and is called Beauty) and I am a Monster, because of the freedom I have to observe and change reality; Monstrous abilities without the guidance of discrimination. Therefore, "I do unto others as I would have done to me." I am here to expand and liberate life from it's self imposed limits but without violating it or its freedom to be.
So when you are working with the "night-side" of creation, be aware of your power to influence all things observed.

One calls on Vassago, to provide profound knowledge of things past, and in the future, as well as, to find things lost or hidden.

    When the Thoth Four of Wands or The Shadow Tarot-4 of Primordial Fire, is thrown during a reading;
    • It is the key to spiritual and holistic completion.
    • It suggests that the querent is experiencing the completion of something and experiencing the desire to begin something new.
    • The Four of Wands also implies that ideas are firmly established and proved by their flourishing and it is time to move forward.
    •   The querent is manifesting a new destiny by acting on a sense of direction, supplied by inner Self Knowledge that is forming a new identity.
    • Here we see celebration and reward after laborious completion of an enterprise.
    •  When this card is thrown it indicates that in the next 4 weeks or 4 months should be a good time to move in new directions while simultaneously completing things.
    • The 4 card also cautions you to make sure that you have completed other issues, projects and relationships before you do move into other directions especially with any important Aries people in your life (March 21- April 21).
    • May also be a rite of passage. A joyful celebration and reward after labor. A time of rest and relaxation after completing a difficult task.

THE TAROT OF ELIThe Thoth Five of Wands: Strife
The stability of the fours is being shaken by a powerful active force called Strife.  The word Strife tends to carry clouds of discomfort to our thought processes; However, this isn't as bad as it sounds. For energy to stay an active force, it must keep moving. When we get complacent and satisfied in our stability, energy must transform to continue moving. So the Authority in your life (The Divine in you) starts moving things around in your life to get you moving! The Thoth 5 of Wands declares, the bell is rung, its now time to change things!

The accompanying states of confusion, frustration and anxiety  are all states of abundant energy that is being held back by complacency and unwillingness to move forward. This causes Strife to "come to Grand Mother's house" as a wolf in disguise to stimulate you to act.

Astrologically this card is Saturn in Leo, Saturn is the planet of discipline, of knowing your limits and boundaries. Saturn reminds us to do things step-by-step---but do them you must!

Leo is dynamic creative power that wants limitless expression and will not be held back. By this Saturn/Leo union one can see that this is a paradigm for confusion, anxiety and angst.  Therefore the Thoth Strife card reminds one not to resist taking those necessary steps for motion in you life. Baby steps, work but only if you take them!
Strife tells us this is not a time to live in your dreams----you now must act!

The yellow background of this card is active solar energy.
The grey lotus represent creative thought unable to bloom ( The Alchemical leaded consciousness) because of anxiety and confusion.
The Phoenix headed wand represents the triumph of rising from your own angst to greater heights of creation.
The winged Eye of Horus is the all seeing eye (I) of creation.
The snakes beneath the eye of Horus represent regenerative force which is what happens when we release anxiety to the motion of creative self.  Therefore Strife is a corrective and it seems this card states that the Divine thinks you're good enough for the job of expanding and liberating life and wants you back in motion. Repose is over. Time to get back on your feet and move forward.

To the Elements, the fives bring serious problems of unbalance.

    1. The Five of Wands-Strife, brings quarrel and strife in the Vital energy:
    2. The Five of Cups,  brings disappointment to relationships;
    3. The Five of Swords, brings defeat to health and mind;
    4. The 5 of Disks, brings strangulation to income and business.

All seemingly very gloomy; However, the other cards in the divination will show how long the difficulty as well as,  how serious the fives are to be taken. Really, these nasty old 5's just announce that a difficulty exists and often the solution to the problem at hand is in the rest of the Tarot reading.
     Again-THE FIVE OF WANDS, STRIFE.
This Lord of Strife astrologically is Saturn in Leo, which is the influence of Geburah in the World of  Pure Spirit; Atziluth of the Four Worlds.
Here the powerful heavy effects of Saturn, united with a Fire sign like Leo, brings quarreling and Strife in energy.

The Angels of the Decan are Vahaviah and Yelayel, necessary knowledge for those who wish to call on them.

Wands are a continual outpouring of force, with Saturn influence, this flow of force is agitated and disturbed, not unlike water flow is disturbed by rocks, causing rapids. Or more likely, as volcanic magma is disturbed by the tons of rock its pushing through.  Thus in the Five of Wands, there is contest unresolved.
Crowley's Thoth Deck Card, shows the nature of the energy rather than its disturbed nature displayed by the Golden Dawn or Ryder-Waite Tarot Decks,
In the Thoth Five of Wands, are shown the Lotus wand of the Golden Dawn Adeptus Minor of Tiphareth, the Phoenix Wand of the Adeptus  and the Major of Geburah, all crossing  the central wand of the Major Adept.  The fact that the Major Adept Wand is central is because it's position implies this severity is directed by Geburah rather than happenstance. The Phoenix wand implies resurrection  from the purgation of Fire, while the Lotus Wand is of the Mother.
Many people find Geburah a difficult Intelligence to understand because She is a volcanic as Pelé ( Hawaiian Volcano Goddess), all irrational disturbance, yet  these disasters are derived from the benign and gentle influence of the Feminine  that is Great Mother Binah. To me, this just shows Spirits "tough love" for its incarnations. Spirit knows you are the best built God Image yet, a union of animal and Angel (Daemon), and have the internal strength necessary to  handle anything this Universe can throw at you. Yet, because we often believe the definitions of those who rule definition, we see ourselves as a weakness, trying to become strong or evil trying to become good.  All because we are taught to believe that mortality is a weakness, and flesh is evil, rather than the only way to sensually experience the courageousness of our Souls. Immortals don't have need of courage, they don't die; they also don't have a sensual reality.  Sensuality requires a "beginning and an end", to exist in being, is to be sensual.  The very fact that Soul of you is seeking sensuality by building an incarnate persona, requires severity just to make it so and a fearlessness to make it Yours!  For example, a certain amount of friction is required to form energy into creations. Without the severity of friction, form could not become form! Just so, with out the friction of severity in ones life, accomplishment, progress and evolution would not happen! We Souls knowingly build an incarnation, knowing it can be a "crap shoot" and certain severity will be applied!
THE SHADOW TAROT CARD-the 5 of primordial fire/ Sallos also stresses, strife, emotional stress and danger.
Sallos, is the 19th spirit as Solomon has bound them, and is a "Great and Mighty Duke of Hell. Sallos is often seen as a gallant soldier riding upon a crocodile and wearing a ducal crown on his head.

Now to the discerning student, there may seem to be a lot of Dukes of Hell, all Mighty and Great. But you have to remember that Christian Demonology was written by frightened,(especially of the invading Norse), not too sane, dark age monks who change the Norse Goddess Hel, the Norse Goddess of Life and Death, and named her a Place of infernal punishment.  Woman were obviously the subject of many of the Monks nightmares.
(Hel also became Helen of the Greek Iliad and Odyssey, of Homer's fame.)
The Truth was that Hel's Norse image was displayed as a Strong Woman-Warrior, such as the one by Johannes Gerts (seen in black and white) did in 1899.  After the Christian revisionism of all religions of conquered people, Hel became Hell, and She is now a "place" where eternal Severity is dealt out to all "heathens" and sinners etc.
So now, Hel is being brought back into the attention of the cultural Psyche, via Qaballah, as a Hel-Ain, Which is Hebrew Heh (Window or Door) El or L, which is God, and Ain which is the No-Thing of Dark Energy or the Dark Energy Universal Unconscious!  Hel-Ain then means,"The Window/door to the God, No-Thing" or a keeper of the Wormhole to another Dimension of invisible Energy. This could also mean that Hel-Ain could be a race of Space Travelers who guard a dimensional entry!

Often artistically, in the modern world, Hel is shown as a Light and Dark Female figure, because life is light and death is dark, or so it would seem to those who "know not death".
What the Hebrew words of Hel-Ain indicate is that She is an Entity who weaves the Dark Energy of one dimension and the light of this dimension together to make life. Also being a "window or Door" into another parallel universe. All of which inspires curiosity, rather than fear.

So I conclude that if the Christian Demonized Hel is the namesake of the domain of these Dukes of Hell, then they are all under the command of the Goddess herself. She being Lady, and they being Lords. Remember in Anglo-Saxon, Lady means "doler of Bread" and Lord means "guardian of Bread", which makes these demonized gods of the old world, somewhat less offensive and maybe good bakers of bread! I know I am, good baker of bread that is, for I use a thirty year old Sourdough as a starter!

What is clearly paradoxical, Sallos is called upon to make people fall in love. (Again, to an enforced celibate Monk that must be awful, all that "falling", loving and sexual sticky stuff!) The minds of these monks must have been hell-lacious torment, after all they continually dreamnt of lascivious wanton-woman coming to them into the night and sucking out their "life fluids"  (oh horrors, spiraling out as snakes!) thus coining the name succubus who is often accompanied by serpents. Serpents were often the images of devils; the word devil has come from the Hindu Devi (Goddess) and Lingam (Phallus). Therefore contributing to the succubus image that is often shown as a Hermaphrodite, with a large phallus.

Oh yeah to further prove Hel is nasty, "wet dreams", the occurrence of dream ejaculations, that often wet the sheets of young males in  puberty, was something the entombed "flesh-o-phobe" monks never got to grow out of and became nightmares as ejaculating their precious seed over dream sex with woman; which was also held as proof of woman's evil.  All of which is beyond silly, as God is Sex! And one can only blame ones self for their ejaculations!

As the Tantra's have taught me, sexuality is part of the Divine Creative's Magick, and the resulting diversity of the mating of opposites, is the foundation all life is built on, beginning with positive-male and negative-female atomic particles!

So, to me the being Sallos, is a beautiful Lady Geburah; a deva who knows that loving is Being, and will help you fulfill your hearts desire, as long as it doesn't interfere with another persons free will or karma. Strife is also wielded by her, as it is a corrective, if you are straying too far from your path in this life-journey, as a tough loving Mother of Being, she'll not hesitate to "kick" you to get your attention.
Because of all the nonsense of Christian demonology and Lovecraft science fiction, I find that The Shadow Tarot are best used to investigate by skrying, the "other side of the Mirror", i.e.The Divine Collective Unconscious, rather than using them as Divining Tarot Cards for mundane readings. On the Dark Side, one confronts and conquers their fears, phobias, and issues.  However, if it pleases you to use them, The Shadow Tarot 5 of primordial fire is comparable to the Thoth 5 of Wands/Strife.

When thrown in a Divination The Thoth 5 of Wands or The Shadow Tarot-5 of Primordial fire/ Sallos, implies that:
    • In the next 5 weeks or 5 months, the opportunity for releasing anxiety or frustration to creative self is to be utilized.
    • Any frustration with either Leo people or in the month of Leo or with your own creativity should be solved within this time.
    • Creative thought and action are required!
    • Many of us have inherited anxiety, or patterns of angst from our parents and or family life----now is the time to break these patterns in your self.
    • Just remember, blame will not help you here, nor is it a viable motion, so forget blame and correct the error you see in your patterns of motion.
    • Evolution demands we correct the errant emotional patterns of our past to move forward as a successful "I AM ME" in the eternal NOW!
    • The querent is involve in a spiritual conflict. This frustrating conflict can ensue for 5 weeks or 5 months because of this confusion of ideas.  The solution of which depends on the diligence of the querent.
    • Here, the querent is adjusting the identity, struggling with self-doubt while striving to move forward.
    •  There maybe a struggle or strenuous warfare- like competition for riches and success, a kind of battle in life.
    • The querent might also feel like they are in a impasse, powerless in a time of trial and difficulty.
Thank you for your interest, comments, and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper.

    THE TAROT OF ELIThe Qabalistic Thoth Tarot-6 of Wands: Victory;
This is a joyful card, expansive and warm, an symbol of deep personal creative power; Self confidence, balanced leadership and joy. Were the four was closed and guarded, that was broken up by the five and the resulting marriage has resulted in self- supporting, stabilization, reception and reflection.

When the established conformity of the 4 is broken up by the frustration and anxiety of the 5, the creative union of 4's and 5's results in a dynamic motion of creative power that results in a personal victory of empowerment.

The lotus wand represents a spiritual victory that provides us with a win-win situation rather than a win-lose one.
The Ibis Headed Wand, is a symbol of a victory that provides us with new creative energy flow and revitalization. Win-win victory supplies us with clarity of vision and creative expression which is represented by the Winged Eye of Horus wand, whose serpents represent the regenerative power of such a victory. This is a powerful energy/spiritual victory that is represented on all four states of consciousness  (represented by the four diamonds): Super-conscious (Spirit), Subconscious, conscious and self-conscious. You are in the Know and the Flow and have the Three wands of mastery on both the visible/light and invisible/dark (both sides of the mirror) and are walking on the rare path of Spiritual, Mental and Physical union towards one vision.

Astrologically, the Thoth 6 of Wands, is  Jupiter in Leo, stating that victory such as this, is expansive and fluid (Jupiter) and highly creative (Leo). We feel good!
     I mention The Key symbols relating to Tiphareth, Beauty;
     1) the Cube, which is based on 6, a form taken twice-over in the double cubed Altar of Malkuth/Physical Earth.
2.) The Six-sided figure of the Truncated Pyramid (its top is cut off) that represents Adam Khadmon, the six lower Sephiroth. Adam Khadmon is the ascended man or Archetypal Human, above him, completing the Pyramid are the Supernal, Kether, Chokmah and Binah.

Then, there is the Calvary Cross, properly drawn as black, unequal armed, surrounded by a circle and mounted on three steps. This implies Wisdom through Sacrifice. The Rose cross and the Rose Cross Lamen, are the other powerful Tiphareth symbols.
    THE SIXES of their suit, represent definite accomplishment and carrying out of a matter;
success with the result of effort, is the underlying current of all sixes.

In the World of energy, Atziluth, this means Victory.
    • Where as in Briah, the World of Pleasure, happiness is a direct result of working for it.
    • In the world of quarreling and Strife, Yetzirah, strife brings success.
    • While, in Assiah, the world of business, and commerce among men, this means material success.

THE THOTH SIX OF WANDS-VICTORY: Is Lord of Victory.
Here Jupiter is in Leo, and the Angels of the Decan are:, Nelokhiel and Yeyayel.

In the Six of Wands, we have the benevolence of Jupiter in the Fiery Sign of Leo,(Sun)  which brings success and warm relationships.  However, it is an aspect that suggest some drama and of victory after great effort.

The Thoth-Crowley card, shows the Wands of the Three Adepts (of Golden Dawn ritual) crossed in a perfect balance of power. As each Adept must go through initiations involving varying degrees of Strife, this card of Wands, suggests victory after strife.

It is to be noted, that the upright Flames, lantern like at each crossing, are in a number of  9; the number of Yesod and the Moon. This shows energy stabilization of the Energy, and its reception and reflection by the Feminine Magnetic Principle. There is no circle around the illustration, because it is self-supporting like the Sun.

THE SHADOW TAROT, 6 OF PRIMORDIAL FIRE/BALAAM.
"Victory. Creative power floods the soul with light."

According to the author of these Nightside cards, Linda Falorio, Balaam is the 51 Spirit in the order that Solomon (Sun of On) bound them. He is often seen as a terrible and powerful king of Hell who appears with three heads, bull, ram and man; tail of a serpent, and flaming eyes, riding on a furious bear and carrying a goshawk on his arm.

Now, I know some of you believe in a Hell of damnation, but that is all proven religious propaganda, based on demonizing the gods and religions of conquered cultures. Carrying a hawk on your arm, for bird hunting, was also a common pastime of the Royalty of medieval times who own the land they hunted on. To the common person, these royals were very demonic as they basically enslaved the commons to a life of hard, unforgiving labor, just to support Royal wealth and ease. Thus history seems to support the constructs of the neurotic monks and their ancient fear of demons.

Us moderns know the Quantum Physics theory of  the Universe as a Multi-verse, composed of many parallel dimensions. Many people believe that there are intelligent beings on those dimensions, and they are considered alien, but not christian-demonic.

For logically, a truly nasty and intelligent "demon", would show up as the most beautiful being you could stand to look at. Thus, disarming your caution with trickery, before you even begin commanding it or thinking about your own safety.  Plus all the demonic shapes, remind us of scattered parts that got put together by someone ignorant of anatomy and couldn't possibly work...say like a medieval monk! I am afraid I would just break out into laughter at such presentations.

Be that as it may, with hoarse voice, Balaam is a historian of a sorts, who gives you true accounts of things past, present, and of things to come. Balaam may also be called on to give you the power of invisibility; a common power in Christan demonology. Of this oracular power, Balaam is not alone, as oracular power is also given to, drugs, shamans and Oracles/ mediums etc.  Well known western oracles were the Pythonia of ancient Greek fame, who had a Temple in Delphi and were also called the Oracles of Delphi. Shown here in artistic interpretation, holding an olive branch, sitting over the smoking volcanic crack that exuded "psychedelic" gases that were said to be capable of giving one oracular powers.

So "in a nutshell" the Dayside Thoth 6 of Wands, Victory is representative of the power to over come personal struggles and success with the result of effort. The Nightside Tarot card, 6 of Primordial Fire/Balaam, gives you the sigil that represents the ability to accurately view the past effort needed, while also viewing the present and future that this personal victory procures. So skrying these cards together is recommended.

When the Thoth 6 of Wands or The Shadow Tarot, 6 of Primordial Fire/ Balaam card is thrown during a reading the Querent:
    • Is assured of victory, but victory only comes after a struggle. so don't celebrate prematurely.
    • There is implied a short lived victory with all blockages overcome; however only by trusting the Stability of the Higher Self, the Victory becomes long lasting.
    • Confidence and belief in yourself are the necessary tools here and it looks like they have been achieved with some major breakthrough in insight and creativity happening in the next 6 weeks or 6 months.
    • The querent is showing secure knowledge of self identity and displays self confidence in leadership abilities.
    • There is in the querent a  purposeful sense of direction and purpose, therefore, this card indicates that in the next 6 weeks or 6 months, the opportunity for victory will be  either an opportunity to achieve a victory with the Leo people in your life or to experience a personal win-win victory of your own.
    • As the 4 of Wands is Completion, a stasis of movement, and 5 of wands is Strife, an unbalancing, their union becomes a continuation of motion that produces Victory, which is a new motion, a new vision, and a new journey that self renewal demands of us who make bodies live. It pays to remember that the body is your power tool and your are the artisan that "Makes" creative endeavors with that physical miracle device!
Thank you for your interest, comments and supportive donations. May you live long and prosper!
